I went to this store over the one on Midrivers due the fact that I have had issues with the customer service at the one on midrivers when I have done other projects. This time did not disappoint me either. Karen Was super helpful and patient with me. She was went above and beyond! The Gentleman that helped me with my range purchase was awesome too.

Great place. Had everything I needed in stock

What a delivery nightmare! We purchased a microwave, but the store had ZERO units in stock, so we had to wait a week for delivery. We were supposed to get a call the day before to give us a delivery time-frame. Never got that call. When the truck arrived, the delivery man was belligerent and threatening - so much so that I considered calling the police. He said he would leave the microwave on my front porch. I told him that was unacceptable. He refused to bring my microwave into my home and unpack it so I could inspect it as I had been directed to do by the Home Depot associate who sold us the unit. (Evidently there has been an ongoing issue with microwaves being damaged during transport and delivery.) Since he refused to deliver inside my home and unpack it, I had to refuse the shipment. When I called the store to complain, it took about 10 minutes before I was connected with a manager. Aside from helping my husband cancel the order and arrange for a refund, the manager wasn't particularly helpful and disputed how long I had been waiting to speak with a manager - presumably because he was unaware that my phone call had been directed to several associates (including a sales person in appliances) before it was ever transferred to him. This store is okay for paint and hardware needs, but I do not recommend buying any items that involve use of third party vendors. We had a terrible experience with carpet purchased and installed through this HD store and now this issue with the microwave delivery - obviously their third party people are not dependable. We'll buy the exact same microwave for the exact same price from another vendor. If HD had had even ONE unit in stock, we could have avoided all this stress and hassle.

Great Store with knowledgeable staff!

I recently moved to the area and there is a Lowe's store right down the street. I had to stop by this Home Depot store on the way to a project and because of the friendly staff, ease of finding what I needed (or having staff available to help me find it), I take the extra time. to go out of my way to purchase from this store instead of going to a store that os actually more convenient by location.

Great service, helpful and knowledgeable employees. Very friendly atmosphere. Feels like the old local hardware store.

Had a installation issue on expensive appliances we bought from this store, Home Depot did nothing to help us out The delivery people arrives at our house in the middle of the afternoon, told us they had 5 more delivers They were in and out of our house in a blink of an eye we didn't notice the installation was wrong and needed to be changed until after they had left. Seeking help from the this store (whom we purchased or appliances from) , they were useless and passed it off on policy of the installers leaving us with having to find someone to correct there wrong . Store manager also just past the ball on us when he referred us to the Gas company for help. Home Depot made us feel like buying from them is buy at your own risk , we will never buy anything major from this store ever again and will never recommend anyone to purchase appliances from them

Excellent customer service! We purchased a refrigerator and the employee was patient with our time and questions. The only reason for the 4 star is I believe Home Depot can do a better job contracting delivery. They are a week out and we need a fridge sooner.

My husband loves the store and he will drive out of his way just to go there. He says its not to big and he knows were everythng is. He says if you ask any employee for directions they will direct you to the correct isle and location. Most often stop what they are doing and walk you to the spot.

There were a lot of associates that were visible to help you. That means a lot. When going to customer service to make an online purchase Angie went above and beyond helping us. At one point she was getting a little frustrated and asked Raymond for an idea. Together they got something figured out. We have not had service that wonderful in years. They are both an asset to their company. We will become regular shoppers there when we need something just because of our experience. Thank you Angie and Raymond

Honestly, the O'Fallon location is my favorite Home Depot store. I've been shopping at Home Depot stores for 20+ years and the O'Fallon store is far and away my all time favorite. I don't know who manages this place or does the hiring but it's just the very best Home Depot shopping experience every time I go in. I've shopped the Missouri Home Depot locations in Bridgeton, Overland, St. Peters, St Charles, Cross Keys and O'Fallon. The O'Fallon store Rules! #1. At the O'Fallon store the orange aprons are super helpful when you need them but not obnoxiously in your face or tailing behind you when you don't. Considering this is a store selling everything from lumber to tile to lawn goods to whatever it is remarkably clean. It's also a very safe place to shop. Forklifts have a flagman ahead and areas being restocked have safety barricades in place. Recently I was happily surprised to find an aisle in the wood products section with tables set up, barricades in place and maybe 30 young grade school children wearing little orange aprons and working on cool little building projects. There were two Home Depot staff at both ends of the aisle and the "Child Safety" measure was at a +10. The children were happy and involved. The parents were pleased and proud. The staff monitored everything perfectly and everyone had a great experience. The O'Fallon Home Depot store staff and management should be called out for their excellence. I can enter the store with a smile and leave with a bigger smile. I'm going on 65 years old. Today's world seldom pleases me. The O'Fallon Home Depot reassures me that all is not lost. Excellence, friendliness, helpfulness, safety first, contributing to our youth and just providing one of the best shopping experiences someone going through a store entrance can experience. A moment I won't soon forget. I was moving my cart toward the front of the store for checkout on the day the children were working on their projects. The class had apparently just broken up and children, (dressed in the Home Depot orange aprons), and their parents were moving towards the front of the store. A gentleman, (obviously a contractor), pushing a heavily laden in store vehicle called out to one of the children asking if the child could help him find a product he was looking for. The little boy, without blinking, turned and called down the aisle, ( by name), to one of the regular Home Depot employees, "Assistance needed in aisle ..... whatever and then proceeded to take his fathers hand and walk out the front door. The store employee came running up, the contractor started laughing and everyone realized we'd just experienced a wonderful moment.

I spend thousands of dollars each year at your store. I know many staff by name. Some go out of their way to help. Have shopped at this store since its inception. Why was any junk or no saleable product in the bin, and why was the accoutrements needed not there? Whose in charge of the section noted?

This Home Depot has quality products in stock, online orders are filled quickly. Especially like their wood products and the quality of the hardwoods is better than other stores. Store is easy to navigate through with associates offering to assist you when and if you need help.
