This is the greatest Home Depot on the planet! The store is clean, the team is joyful, and the shelves are nearly always stocked. If something happens to be out they will find out when it should be in next! Amazing!

The store is our go to place for all of our home needs. We appreciate the attention that we receive and the friendly employees there.

Trevor at the Pro Desk was a pleasure to deal with. He was very knowledgeable about roofing products. He has great customer service skills. My shopping experience was a breeze with him. I definitely recommend him and the Carrollton store.

It's been like this for me for 2 days in a row, I went to Monday and Tuesday and I've been having the same problems, when you request assistance, they never show up

Jamal and Nancy did an exceptional job assisting me in the Garden Center from questions, loading my cart and car. I am very grateful for their assistance today at the Carrollton HD. They were so courteous and offered knowledge and kindness above what most people do in retail. Very impressed. Thank you !

We went in to purchase appliances. Our salesperson Joan was absolutely amazing! Couldn't have asked for a sweeter, more knowledgeable person! She went above and beyond to make sure that we found what we needed and knew everything we needed to know before the purchase. She made us feel like family instead of just another customer!

Helpful staff and always well stocked

I was helped by Hunter H. and the cashier Rebecca and their service was terrific. I noticed a price difference between what was in the store and what was online. Hunter immediately determined that I was eligible for the in-store price and walked me up to the cashier to explain why the discount applied without any fuss. Rebecca who was cashiering that day handled all of my purchases that day professionally and even asked me if I was a veteran. I was proud of Rebecca and Home Depot for asking me.

They have no control over deliveries. Was told someone had to be here to receive the delivery, took off work and they decided not to load it on the truck for the day we scheduled. Then they made me reschedule my day for another week away and now I am giving up the day we leave to go on vacation with no guarantee that they will decide to put it on that truck. Apparently they just like to waste people's time with waiting on deliveries that don't come. And no guarantee that they are going to come me the next time either.

Everyone was friendly. Our salesperson, Josh, was friendly and really helpful in our selecting our chain saw. We like the Carrollton store.

This store reminds me of the old style local hardware store I grew up with. The people who work there are pretty friendly and knowledgeable about the products in their areas of expertise. Employees are friendly and helpful without being asked. The store is always clean even when busy and they seem to always have what I need when I visit.

From the person who answered my phone call inquiring about appliances in stock, to the helpful man who greeted me at the door with a sanitized cart, to the man in appliances who already had dryers pulled up that were in stock for me to view, my shopping experience was 100%!

I ordered Trex decking online for a deck I was building on Lake Wedowee. The website said I would get a call back from the Carrollton store to schedule delivery within 48 hours. 48 hours go by. No call. Red flag #1. I call the store, spoke with a very polite young woman who scheduled the delivery for 2/10/21. I paid extra for a 2 hour window in which it would be delivered. On the day of the scheduled delivery, my buddy and I take a day off work, drive 2 hours, get to the job site, only to get a phone call from the store asking to reschedule. (They apparently didn’t account for the physical size of the order and needed more space on the truck.) Red flag #2. I’m annoyed, but hey, no big deal. I speak with a very responsive young woman who helps me reschedule the delivery to Friday 2/12/21. But this time, she can’t give me a time window. I’ll need to be there all day. Another day off for 2 working adults, another 2 hour drive. Early morning drive from Atlanta to get there by 8:00. Noon rolls around. No delivery. I call the store to make sure that the delivery is happening. A very polite young man tells me it is DEFINITELY happening today. So we wait, albeit impatiently. 7:00 PM rolls around. Same phone call, same response: it is definitely being delivered today. Huge surprise: They never come. Red flag #3. I give up. This morning, I called the Carrollton store to cancel the order. They offer to reschedule the delivery. (HA!) On the phone, I’m told by a very polite young man that I can cancel the order, but they can’t charge it back to the card I ordered with. They can try to process a check refund, but that would probably take a few weeks. The only way, they say, to refund the money to my card is to drive to Carrollton. Keep in mind: I live 60 miles away. I have never set foot in this particular store. I ordered this online with a credit card, paid for my 2-hour delivery window via credit card on the phone, but I’m being asked to drive to the Carrollton store to get my money back. Red flag #4 So at this point, between my buddies and I, they have wasted 40 man-hours that would have been spent either at work or at home with our kids. Home Depot can refund my money, but there is really no way to make me whole with the time lost. Everyone at this store has been polite, and I’m grateful for that, but that doesn’t matter if the consumer cannot get the product they have paid for.

I always have a good experience when I go to this Home Depot. Employees are cordial and very helpful.
