Are Kids Workshops offered at the Crystal Lake Home Depot?

Yes, the Crystal Lake store offers in-person Kids Workshops. These in-store events are free and take place every first Saturday of the month between 9am and noon. You may secure your Kids Workshop kit by registering online for the event. We have a new kit pack every month to keep your little doer engaged. Included in the kits are all necessary craft materials, as well as instructions, stickers, an apron pin, a certificate of achievement, and a Discovery Education extension activity. Paint and all other required tools are provided at the event. Kits may be ordered online at our Kids Projects Activities page or picked up in-store if you prefer to participate in the workshop from home. Call us or visit our customer service counter to order your kit.

How do I check the balance of my Home Depot gift card?

Home Depot gift cards are an excellent present for the holidays, birthdays, and housewarming parties. DIYers know these gift cards are fun to give and to receive. You can buy gift cards at our brick-and-mortar stores or online at homedepot.com. If you receive a gift card, you can check your gift card balance online or visit the Crystal Lake Home Depot and ask a cashier to check the balance for you. Use our gift cards to shop online or redeem them in-store, all with no additional fees.

Does The Home Depot Crystal Lake offer Curbside Pickup?

Yes, you can pick up Curbside Orders from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with The Home Depot App.

Select "Curbside with The Home Depot App" at checkout when you shop eligible Store Pickup items. We'll let you know via text message or email when your order is ready at the store. Bring your valid, government-issued photo ID with you.

To pick up your Curbside Order:
1. Download The Home Depot App.
2. Before you get to the store, use the link in your "Ready for Pickup" email or text message to tell us in the app that you're on the way.
3. After you arrive, park in a designated Curbside Pickup space, which is usually located near the front of the store.
4. Check in through the app to tell us you're here.
5. Wait for us to bring out your order and load it into your vehicle.
