Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

What's part of The Home Depot 4th of July Grill Sale?

If you're looking to replace major kitchen appliances, The Home Depot 4th of July Sale is an ideal time to shop. It runs from June 16th to July 9th. We have fantastic sales on refrigerators and dishwashers, as well as grills, outdoor power equipment, and tools, too. Shop online at your convenience, or stop by the store today.

Why should I get a generator?

Restore electricity in your home even after severe storms and wind take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When shopping for generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Do you have moving boxes?

Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make moving and storage easier. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

How can I prepare my home to weather strong storms?

Make sure your house is ready for strong thunderstorms by replacing any broken or faulty parts of your hardscaping and home. If water seeps into the crevices, you could be in for major repairs later. On the outside of your home, examine metal roofs or roof shingles for rust or damage that could let water in. Gutters should be functional and clear to prevent water from pooling on the roof. Check brick and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. Lastly, replace chimney caps and vinyl siding if they're damaged.

Do you have wired or wireless doorbell cameras?

Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through an adjacent window when you can watch human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

    Promptly satisfy your customers
Product was delivered without all the parts which made it useless. I don't care to hear why the system can't pick up and deliver a COMPLETE product. Find ways to make it happen

        Mitch is the BEST!
After three trips to the store trying to locate door hardware for an older home and asking multiple employees for assistance, I finally encountered Mitch. He was kind, compassionate and very knowledgeable. Mitch escorted me to Aisle 29 where we were able to locate the exact items that I needed. Thank you Mitch!

          Politics vs Professionalism
I love Home Depot, but not this... Customer Service cashier -- using his phone to snap a photo of a customer wearing a cap with a political slogan because, as he loudly exclaimed, he felt the same way and loudly added his own, demeaning comments. So unprofessional and childish. Hoping he's a one-off.

            Good quality and prices
Home Depot is my second home. Employees are willing to help and explain me about materials or the way to work in some projects so I have learned a lot of things that I can apply in every project I have.

Not a great day for shopping
I was shopping for landscape materials and paint. There was no employee in the paint area the whole time I was looking at the colored paper paint samples. I was disappointing that I was not able to find the color I needed from the paper paint samples and no one was around to help me. So I left for my landscaping materials. I had another female customer asking me for help in what to purchase for her needs because no employees were around. I did end up purchasing 10 bags of landscaping rocks. Yet again no employee was around to help me left heavy bags of rocks of the shelf’s nor load it in my vehicle. Do I have to bring a friend to help - wish I would’ve . At the end of my experience- when paying for my purchase the card reader wasn’t working. After several attempts and 3 different cards- The One Home Depot employee I did encounter went to a second checkout machine and my transaction FINALLY went through. Odds are I will be shopping some place else in the future.

Do not recommend if you need help from an associate
In the future I will be going to the stores on the Kansas side. If I need help finding something in store I should not have to prove that this store carries what I’m looking for and then be talked down to when they realize their error.
