Are Kids Workshops offered at the Wareham Home Depot?

Kids Workshops are free in-store events that take place every first Saturday of the month between 9am and noon. Registration for workshops is now available online. Each month features a unique and exciting new kit pack to keep little doers engaged. Kits include all necessary craft materials, kit instructions, certificate of achievement, stickers, an apron pin, and a Discovery Education extension activity. Paint and all other required tools are provided at the event. Kits may be ordered online at our Kids Projects Activities page or picked up in-store if you prefer to participate in the workshop from home. Call us or visit our customer service counter to order your kit.

            BUYERS BEWARE if your buying flooring from this store
            We have been dealing with HD since 9/15/23 on carpet for out loft and two sets of stairs. Also ordered laminate plank flooring. Double check your measurements that the HD measuring department does. The carpet measurement came up short and they left us without carpet on our stairs for over two weeks now. They provided us with four different measurements for the laminate flooring, all which we in excess of what was needed. Not only did they want to charge us for the extra material, but also labor for the install for extra material that couldn't be installed During the carpet portion of the job, their installer verified the actual size of the flooring that was not measured correctly by HD and provided us with an accurate measurement. The excess charges are around $800. Multiply this by thousands of customers who don't double check and this dissipative practice is a huge money maker for them BUYER BEWARE !!!!!!! We spent 1 1/2 hours in the store on 11/18 explaining this and were told someone would call us on the Monday 11/20 Nine days later (yesterday 11/27) I spent another 1 1/2 hours waiting for someone to help. The person was at lunch so she sent an assistant manager to take care of us. He knew nothing about flooring, could't help. I called the installer in front of them on speaker phone and she confirmed that they are the ones that needed to correct the charges. That wasn't good enough, they need to speak with someone else at the install office. My frustrations boiling at this point I smacked my folder against the wall tell the assistant manger he was useless and of no help, at which time he told me to leave his store. Yes you read that right "LEAVE MY STORE" So My wife and I are still in limbo. Great way for HD to treat a couple loyal senior customer. We'll shop elsewhere from now on -

                  Hassle over making a $75 return
                  Try to return an item that is clearly still on the shelf. I understand that I cannot get cash back if I do not have the receipt but I would have taken store credit instead of the cash back. I’m a pro account holder and spend close to $25,000 a year at Home Depot. I shouldn’t have to jump through hoops to make a return.

                    Don't bother having anything delivered. Every single time I have had an issue, be it, damaged items, late delivery, list delivery and incomplete deliveries.
