I generally have a good experience at the Alton location but at times I ask a younger employee a question and they usually immediately radio for help, I get that, but they should tag along to gain thst knowledge themselves instead of walking off once the person they've contacted for help has arrived

Everytime we come in to this Alton location, the crew are very nice and helpful with finding exactly what we need, when we need it. Definitely one of the cleanest home improvement stores i’ve been into as well.

I love going to Home Depot to shop for supplies. Looking at their huge selections, I often get ideas for new projects. As a Maintenance Manager at a production facility, Home Depot has become my first stop when buying building supplies.

I needed help loading and unloading materials and advice about particular items. Ben helped me throughout the process, answered questions, and even helped me load my materials, a trailer load. I could not have done this without Ben's Help! Big Thank you for all you did! All employees should take note of this Guy!

I don't normally need help to make a purchase - but I was buying a full size Christmas tree - and would have appreciated help loading.

As a maintenance manager, I am at the Depot several times a week for building maintenance supplies. It is rare to not find what I need at the Depot.

I shop at home depot a lot and have found that all associates i have met have been very helpful I would like to give a shout out to associate Nate Streubel in mill works who helped us with our questions about several items we were contiplating purchasing.

I visited home Depot 3 times in 2 days and each time was a great experience. I was helped by and employee 2 of the 3 times with finding what I needed. The employee was knowledgeable of where the products were as well as how best to use them which an amateur like me was glad to get some pointers. The employee was friendly and helpful so I think Home Depot is now my favorite store for home needs.

Ordered a water heater online & chose installation. Never heard back & went to the store to speak to them a week later to learn that the reason I never heard back was because the refuse to service mobile homes. I still wanted the water heater so the employee gave me the numbers of two of his contractor friends & told me to return when ready to make the purchase. I hired his friend & returned to make the purchase of the water heater only to be told that this item is not available at any store & has to be ordered online. I came back to order the water heater that I ended up purchasing online to have to go through hoops on that one. I finally got someone to help me get the water heater. At checkout I was not allowed to use the temporary check out offered with the Home Deport Credit Card. Had to have the home owner come up to finish the purchase.The manager told the employee to take $50.00 off since it was our first time using the card or ever buying anything from Home Depot. The cashier waited till the manager left & then declined to take the money off & charged the full price. After the transaction I had a hard time getting the water heater to the card & no team members helped. As I struggled to get it in the card a team member came up & took the cart while I was struggling with the water heater & left. This was the worst first experience that I have ever experienced at a store. I will pay off the $500 charge on the card, cut it up, & never set foot in a Home Depot again for as long as I live.

I purchased some cement and also some adhesive to put together wood and concrete planters for my garden. I shop Home Depot almost exclusively for their garden and lumber products.

Extremely helpful, professional and courteous.

The store has always been great. They always have anything I need.

Staff is great at this store but there are too many lazy and inconsiderate people that frequent this location. They use the loading zone as a parking lot and stay parked there for sometimes an hour while they shop. Makes it hard on everyone else who needs to load up AFTER they have made their purchase.

The cashier Stephanie was very helpful and the gentleman in the appliances and flooring department on 5/28/2021 was helpful and they both above and beyond to help us.

Friendly store, much like a family store, where items are easy to find and help from employees are around every corner.

This store is usually clean, and workers are friendly and helpful. They do need to keep more products in stock, and keep improving on their shipping speed.

In general the store is pretty nice except for the outdoor area where they have fertilizer, garden edging etc. This area is very dirty and sloppy.

The staff are very helpful and outgoing , store is clean and well stocked. I never have to look for someone to answer a question or point me to a product like I used to across the street at the other big box store.

I would like to comment on your employees. They are the best. I received a call today after a shopping trip to Home Depot this morning.. I had dropped my credit card in the parking lot and it was at customer service. When I arrived at the store to redeem it, all of the associates I encountered were so helpful and even called the finder so I could thank him personally. If Lucy reads this I want her to know Billy is the best.

I enjoy shopping at the Alton Home Depot store even though I live in Florissant. The store is clean and organized and the staff members and employees are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

Everytime I come to Home Depot I know the staff will be friendly and happy to help me with my home repairs. Even though I usually don't know what I need to fix the problem, I know the employees will help me figure out what I need to get the job done. I love that they aren't pushy or in a hurry to get rid of me. It is a clean store with amazing employees. My kids love coming to get the Kids Workshop Building sets too.

I like this store because it is not crazy busy like Ferguson or Edwardsville. Very pleasant shopping.
