Short for time...Altoona team is excellent!

Retired from commercial construction, we are now renovating our house built in 1849 (includes new construction addition). This HD is 45 miles from our home, and we are fairly regular visitors for materials. Over the years, we have spent thousands of dollars here and are likely to be able to fill all our needs. (One sale item not in stock was easily ordered on-line). Throughout the years, we have found staff to be knowledgable, friendly, helpful, personable. We are impressed at the longevity of employment for many of these folks, i.e., familiar faces.

The Store is very neat and clean. The staff offered assistance multiply times during my visit in a friendly manner. The store wasn't overcrowded making the visit seem safer during these current times.

I would like to say Karen was very helpful I was in your store Monday looking for something and it said you had 11 in stock but we could not find and Karen kept looking after I left found it a hour later When I came back on Thursday I found Karen and she found what I was looking for Thank you Karen!

We came into the store late this evening in a real pinch and Nancy from the Lawn and Garden department was amazing. She went above and beyond to help us. I would recommend her and the store to anyone in need of plants.

the people that help you are knowledgeable in what they say in answering your questions and it they feel you would be better off getting another product for you project they will explain why you should consider it instead.

The store was the receiving store for an on-line order I placed back on May 13,2020. The item from Gronomics was sent to the store and they informed me I could pick it up on 7/3/2020. To make a long story very short, after all this time, the item I received was incorrect. Maybe it was not all the Altoona store's fault, but it is my opinion they should have verified the contents to insure it was correct before calling me to pickup the item. A packing slip was attached at some point but was apparently removed by store employees so even though I questioned the person who brought the item to my vehicle, I did not realize the mistake until I got it home and unpacked everything. I am very disappointed with Home Depot and will never shop there again. I returned the incorrect item and received a refund.
