Home Depot is a delightful place to shop for things needed for our home. Every worker I met was respectful, nice, had a smile in their eyes (mask covered the smile), and very helpful. I came in to a nice clean place, asked for a dept, was directed with a friendly answer, found what I wanted, then checked out and happily went to my car thinking good thoughts about this place.

Store was busy, very clean. Lots of staff. Employee helped us with a BBQ off top shelf. He was very helpful and friendly. Same cannot be said for cashier in garden. No greeting and no eye contact. Did not engage once even when I attempted to. There was no line behind us in garden, she just seemed very annoyed having to ring us up. Circled the info on the receipt about a survey and tossed it at me. No thank you for shopping, no have a nice day. $265.00 spent to feel totally ignored and upset when leaving the store. Everyone is always friendly and eager to help. I have gotten good advice many times for projects i’m doing and i’m all around very pleased to shop at your Home Depot.

Have been going to this HD for a while, always find what I need, and no problems exchanging things either.

THE FIRST PLACE I GO TO WHEN I NEED ANYTHING. I REALLY LIKE THE ABILITY TO SEARCH ONLINE AND KNOW WHERE TO FIND IN STORE.

Each time I need something in Chico, this store has staff who go way beyond the typical help. While building a home, I need lots of help and ask many questions, but they have never grown tired if helping me. I highly recommend this store for do it yourself folks.

Totally inconsistent customer service. HD should consider alternative to having to track down an employee for assistance. I'd rather shout out a question to Siri or Alexa than have to wander around looking for help.

Excellent attitude of employees

I would recommend the store because it's fairly easy to navigate and find things, however, the customer service staff is inconsistent regarding what they know about online ordering and I've gotten incorrect information there on a fairly consistent basis. Most of the staff doesn't seem to be sales oriented unless you're a contractor. If you go to the department that's relevant to your need, you are more likely to find a knowledgeable person. Skip the customer service desk.

Excellent staff, help and classes are offered. Prices are great, and we are lucky to have this store in Chico.

You can't beat Behr paints and stains, and this store's paint dept associates are the best! Skilled, helpful, prompt, personable.

We shop at Home Depot on a daily basis the last two years. We had the best service from a employee Bailey, who told us she had been there five days. This women needs to educate a lot of employees on friendly service and knowledgeable service. We both were business owners and would have hired her away from Home Depot if we still owned and hadn’t retired. Great job on hiring this women. We left being very happy customers. She is a asset.

The store staff is amazing. The store needs to be cleaned on a regular basis. They need to limit the allowance of "pets" in the store.

I went out of my way to buy HD because the leftists are bad mouthing the business.

I am an older adult and always need help in describing and finding what I need. I go back to businesses that are polite and kind and don't have a problem helping me.

I love Home Depot. We get all our bedding plants there and other fix it items. Just purchased a ladder too!

If your looking for any appliance I’d recommend Home Depot. The store was very clean, didn’t have trouble getting the items I specifically wanted. Dionne helped us and she definitely has a lot of knowledge. Highly Recommend

I found the products easily and received assistance. The store was clean and the associates friendly and helpful, except for one issue. As a disabled veteran, I received a 10% discount on some items, but not others. I appreciate the discount, but would like to know in advance which products do not qualify for the veteran discount. If this is known in advance it can be factored into the decision to purchase. I asked the question at the store today, but not even a manager could answer it. Thank you in advance if someone can provide an answer.
