I was very impressed with the knowledge and patience of one employee. Her name was Theresa, and everytime i have had the pleasure of dealing with her she has done an awesome job to go out of her way to help and make sure everything is correct including, fixing orders that others did not do correctly from the start. You have a few ladies there that think they know it all, don't listen and because they don't, they make mistakes on the orders. This young lady is the best, always! I wait in longer lines just to get her help, why you ask, because she takes her time, listens and does thing right and she asks questions to make sure. One thing i hate is when people cut you off from speaking and say yes i know and then make a mistake on my orders over and over again. Theresa is an asset to your organization and has never let me down, She make promises to fix things and keeps her promises. Honestley if it wasn't for her i would not be going there. My project has been a nightmare since my first order arrived. I have been shorted on items, not received certain items, received damaged items and all i keep hearing is we are sorry. The worst thing of all, my project should have been done in 3-4 weekends max. I am now going on 3 months THANKS TO SHIPPING FROM A WAREHOUSE IN CALIFORNIA. THIS IS A HORRIBLE IDEA, YOU NEED TO FIX YOUR LOGISTICS AND THE PEOPLE THAT RUN IT!! THANK YOU.

Very helpful staff.

This store is my primary "go-to" place to find my home repair and paint. The staff is always very friendly and always is willing to help when I need it or answer any questions I have. Kudos to Mary in the paint department. Just love her. She is always very cheery and friendly and best of all takes the time to get to know my name and always asks about my painting projects.

I found the appliance I needed. I found a store associate to help with the sale, from a different department.

LOVE the garden center and the people who work there. They are knowledgeable, friendly and they keep all of the plants and flowers looking absolutely beautiful. Every time my husband and I go there for something heavy, i.e., mulch, dirt, etc., there is always someone there who tells us not to do the heavy lifting and to leave it to them. It's hard to find that kind of service.

All of the staff have always helped in courteous and polite manners. I don't recall ever having a problem in the store for the past twenty years. It is consistently my favorite home improvement store.

By far the best home improvement shopping experience I've ever had! Everyone went out of their way to help me find product in the store, in the stock room and at other Home Depot locations. And, everyone did so with a smile on their face and an "I love my job" attitude. I would go out of my way to shop this store again!

Ed in appliances and Daine in Kitchens are excellent to work with. They listen to your needs and concerns and work with you to get what best fits your needs, without pushing you into buying things you don't need. Customer service was amazing in the help they provided!

Store is always clean and well organized. Selection is always top-notch. The customer service is absolutely "outstanding". The staff in all the departments right up to the service desk and cashiers couldn't be any better. They actually even remember me from prior visits and never forget to say "HI" and spend a few moments visiting with me. It's "great" and the reason I continually shop at the Home Depot. If you go to the Crystal Lake store, at the checkout, watch for Kari or Melba. They are the most friendly and courteous ladies.

Favorite store still - even after 20 years of living in this area!

This store is run by an awesome group of people. Being a contractor I am in there daily From Chad & Jason to Jan, Mel, Jeff, Bob, Lee, Stacy, Dave, Greg, Bruce and everyone in between always helpful, courteous and nice to work with.

Whenever I go to the Crystal Lake Home Depot all of the sales associates that I meet are friendly and very helpful! It is a good experience no matter what I have to go for (flowers in the summer or home projects throughout the year!) Thank you.

I had a complex plumbing project the staff guided me through every piece of the project explaining each step so it was easy understand. They saved me a lot of time and headaches had I gone it alone. Thank you!

I was making a special order for tile and supplies i had picked on my phone. When i went into the store the employee in the tile department went the extra mile to make sure i had all the skus i needed to complete my project, place the order and get me 18 month 0% financing.

If there’s a problem with the in home installation services, Home Depot will drop the ball and pass the buck. In the end they will make everything right but in the process you will have gone through so much aggravation you’ll never go to this (or any other?) Home Depot!

Great shopping at this location. Friendly,helpful employees and you can even purchase a hot dog and drink as you're leaving the store!

Everyone is always helpful and friendly at this store

This is my "go to" Home Depot location for everything. I live in Algonquin, but the Crystal Lake store has the absolute best employees! Everyone greets you with a smile and offers help or assistance in every way. Two gentlemen offered assistance with our major purchase of a washer and dryer today and worked together to make our knowledge of the appliances and processes clear in every way. They were patient with us and our many questions and concerns about every detail. We've lived here for 19 years and the Crystal Lake store has been my favorite because of each and every store associate.

As always, the staff was very helpful and friendly. I needed a table saw that was not where it was supposed to be but they searched the entire store until they located it. They were apologetic for the time I had to wait and without being asked they brought it out to my vehicle. I always get great service at this store.
