Worst worst worse. I do my best to avoid Home Depot because the service is always deplorable. . I came to return a smaller garbage can and to pick up (already ordered ) a larger garbage can. I inquired about the one to pick up. He stated,(cashier Jerry) “it would be here, but I will not. I walked the store and returned to the pick up. 10 mins later, he was gone and no garbage can. Noel the customer service rep who was doing returns and pick up was nice enough to go see what happened to my garbage can. He returned to tell me he can’t find no one to help him get it. at 8:32 my return was issued. at 8:42. I returned to find out what happened to my garbage can. At 8:55 Noel told me he can’t find it and no one to get it. 8:57 I had to go my garbage can from aisle 24 9:03 leaving store. Pick up services help those with limited time and that’s exactly what I had. If I was able to come in the store and buy my own garbage can and wait online I would not have to put a pick up request. I spent a half an hour to return the garbage can and to pick up a garbage can which I did myself unacceptable. Thank you, Noel at customer service were trying where everyone else failed

Store is always dirty, low in stock, poor customer service.

The employee here are very friendly. They all answered our questions patiently, and some employees took the initiative to help us pack large vinyl board. From now on, I will go to this store to buy building materials.

On Friday I arrived at Home Depot located in Elmont. I went over to the return section of the store to return an item that I purchased and have NEVER used or opened. The cashier LILY brought me over to her register, I explained to her that I would like to return the item and get a refund I also handed her my receipt. Lily snatched the receipt out of my hand and at that moment started arguing and disrespecting me. I feel extremely discriminated and disrespected, I would like to speak to a manager.

I needed to order over 40 windows with different sizes and over ten doors for a major home renovation project. Associate MacKenzy in the doors and windows department was extremely helpful and made my ordering process much easier and smoother. I would recommend this store especially the windows and doors department.

I’ve only been to the location a few times but the workers there that I’ve spoken to are very friendly and always helpful during my visits. Thank you, will attend again!

Just love this store. It is my preferred place to shop for hardware and other items. It is organized and clean. The folks who work here are very professional and friendly.

I went to purchase swifter wet mop pads and before I could get home to mop my floors I ended up all wet. Please be careful when handling this jitem

I had the good fortune to ask C.Z from Dept25/Hardware for assistance. I was looking for some windshield washer fluid. and could not find it. Web site said ther were 360 bottles of it. I Asked C.Z if I had the right isle, he proceeded to check and asked to see the item I had on the Web - he took the sq, located a pallet on a very high shelf in a different isle and asked if I wouldn't mind waiting a few minutes and he would get a lift and get some down for me. C.Z came back - went up the lift and took down several cases, asked how many bottle I wanted - I took a case (6) and thanked me for waiting and sorry that none was on the shelf. I Thanked C.Z for the exceptional help and going out of his way to help a customer. A Great representative for the Home Depot and Great Values in Customer Service and Caring. Thank you C.Z

Not only is this Home Depot unorganized but some of the workers are truly just a space filler. Not there to assist even after being paged for over 30min. If you feel like subjecting your wife or female friend to creeps send her in there to get your item. I guarantee you she will be very upset with you after but you will definitely get your items.

No matter how many times I go to this store, they never fail to disappoint or aggrevate me. I will drive 20 minutes out of my way to go to the Hempstead or Jericho locations rather than visiting this store which is 5 minutes from my house. Inventory is always low, the help has no clue where anything is, many products are missing prices, and telhe aisles are cluttered so when you try to move sheetrock or plywood through the store, its an obstacle course.
