The best Home Depot store in the City of Chicago.

I had a great experience at the Elston Ave Home Depot. The staff were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They went above and beyond when I needed help or had a question about a product I just purchased. I felt very safe and at ease while shopping around. The staff made my experience enjoyable and less stressful as well as putting me at ease by answering all the questions I had. I would go out of my way to shop at the Home Depot on Elston.

This is about their warranty process. Do not buy the Home Depot Warranty. They try their best not to honor it; and won't. When you call they do not to answer questions, the calls will also drop and you have to keep on calling to get an answer as to whether or not they will honor the warranty. When you ask someone at the store, they don't know what to say.

I pass multiple home improvement stores to come to this specific location because i know i can find what i'm looking for, and if i have a question the staff will help me out quickly. Nora was EXTREMELY knowledgeable and helpful. She assisted my daughter and myself about concerns of plant pests. She was patient, polite and courteous. I hope she reads this.

The staff were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and answered any questions I had. They even walked me around the store to help me picked out the items I needed without me having to ask. They knew their product and exactly where they were located. I spent hours in the store lost and confused, but the staff put me as ease and directed me in the right direction. If they didn’t know the answer, they found a resolution. They even helped me pick my tiles for my new bathroom! Thank you!

The store is great (very much like any other Home Depot). One employee stood out though- Janet! She was so helpful!

This is the top Home Depot store I've visited over the years. Manager David provided exceptional service and Adrian in lumber assisted us for our needs to tackle a huge project to build custom desks for our students at a new local non-profit school for gifted education. We will always return here for our building and improvement needs. Thank you!
