This Home Depot has made many changes including much more friendly, competent and helpful staff members. In addition the layout makes it easy to find items and furthermore there is a good supply of brands and products to choose from.

It is very difficult to find someone to help and answer questions. The store is organized and clean, they have a lot of good merchandise but not being able to find any help ruins the whole experience.

After no appliance knowledge from anyone in the store, we purchased a washer. Were followed by our cashier ALICIA out in the parking lot where she watched us load the washer ourselves and said she needed to make sure we didn't steal the dolly. We assured her we had no intention of stealing a dolly we came for a washer she said well we've had people steal them before. Ok, how is that my fault? I used my personal bank debit card to purchase the washer, why would I steal something after using my bank card when it could be tracked back to me. Felt so discomforting being watched like I was to blame for other people's stupidity. My son even rolled the dolly to her and made sure she received it instead of us leaving it to the side of our truck. I hope she felt stupid and I hope upper management or a supervisor has a talk with her. Never judge someone by their appearance, tattoos, race, etc. You never know.....

The store is always clean when I have visited. One thing I notice about the store is that the employees now take the time to greet you, and they are ready to assist with your purchases. I have had assistance each time I have visited the store. I will return because the prices are good and the customer service was wonderful.

The best costumer service ever, in any Home Depot that we have been into was Eric in the lumber department in the Fairfield store . Thank you Eric

Cashier Jaquez was very rude and unfriendly. Next time I will wait in a longer line than deal with him. His scowling mug kind of ruined my buying plants and seeds. Lori Ann was awesome and helpful as always!

On November 30, 2020 at about 4:45pm I called this store requesting a delivery time window for a large Kitchen Cabinetry order. I was transferred to the store manager who kept me on hold for well over an hour. He never checked in. He never called back. I have no clue as to the time window my order will be delivered. The Manager engaged in incredibly poor customer service. If I had his name I would enter it.

Home Depot in Fairfield, CA is a very good place to shop in! I love the garden section and I get to buy at least 1 plant per visit! The store is generally clean, orderly and has a good stock of products... unless it's the end of a season, which makes its supply up to date because it's replenished. Employees are helpful and friendly. Prices are competitive.

Yes Employee got on the phone to get me to a pro-installer that I needed and set up my same day appointment was done amazingly fast , pro-and affordable impressions of good workers that care About your needs genuine to wanting to help you complete that task. Due to the Pandemic many issues are out of control of the local stores Supplies and shelves are skimpy or empty on many items I can not fault the store as all stores are effected the same way Do not blame the store they try their best and know that profits are lower now There is a special Customer Service rep. Julie that is a star there and she is a good person to help you with She is outgoing and Positive in these hard times She keeps the others motivated around her

I would like to record a previous experience in the store. I needed a new water heater (gas). I found the one I wanted to purchase and was told that someone would call me (within 48 hours). I did not have that much time so I called the number. After a while I was able to contact some one to give me an estimate. it was $1700 for a $600 heater. Way too much. I bought a very satisfactory heater for $1350 from a local supplier and had it installed the next day. Someone need to look at this process. It is totally screwed up!!!!

I always have a successful shopping experience with "knowledgeable" sales personnel. They are quick to assist their customers professionally

The store is neat and clean the products are displayed correctly in a safety manner. Employees are on standby to disinfect the cashier counter every after costumer.

I am having some window treatments done but its been ten days and I have paid in full yet I still have not heard from the installer about installation , I know they said it may be three weeks but that is a long time and I would like to hear something from someone, afterall you have the payment.

Like everyone during this pandemic I walked into Home Depot with a home project in mind. Had questions on paint and lumber. Both Marco in painting and Joseph in lumber were extremely helpful and answered my questions. Because I needed more assistance in the lumber dept, Joseph went above and beyond to make sure my questions were answered and I was satisfied with my purchase. Both employees were extremely respectful and kept a 6ft distance between us. Will def come shop at this store again when in the area!

Has some quality worthwhile employees. Has too many apathetic employees full of excuses that has nothing to do with COVID. May have a systemic problem.

This store is constantly poor on helping customers. I tried to buy 2 blinds today. One was in stock the second I was told was not available in store or by special order. I went home and found the exact blind on the Home Depot web site.

So now that spring/early summer lots of people are finding it necessary to visit, but found that when I arrived no later than 8am the line to get inside was decent, if not a walk in with mask on. Good luck and do your part as I did mine to be safe.

The DM Jacob Crail is a bigot and has a ego that can fill a whole warehouse. They is no diversity in management and he runs his district like he some kind of a lord. The store looks bad and nothing is every on the shelf’s, always have to find some to bring it down or it’s just not in stock! When online says there is a bunch.

Positive- Very friendly and help employees, clean and organized store, the online quantities actually matched what was in stock. Negative- The idiots that park in the no parking area directly in front of the entrance/exit. While walking in the crosswalk area I was almost hit by other vehicles trying drive around the unsafely parked vehicles. Ticket and tow!

I do love this Home Depot in Fairfield. Except for one negative experience, all of the employees I've worked with are really nice. The store is well kept up, and we have had good luck with most of our purchases.
