We have shopped at the Batavia, Il store for 20 years and cannot praise the employees enough for all their help. We know many of them personally from all our years shopping there. They all deserve a big thank you.

I recently went to the Home Depot looking for an artificial Christmas trees. This was my first foray of the day on the search for a tree. I'd been to a lot of stores already and had been disappointed. I wanted a smaller tree and this was harder to find. Plus, sometimes the corresponding boxes were not easy to find and I had to wrestle with boxes to turn them around to look for the codes to look for the code that matched the tree in which I was interested. Then it turned out that the tree I had liked was out-of-stock. I didn't hold out much hope for Home Depot and thought I would be looking at several other stores. First off, this incredibly friendly employee, Patricia, got me set up with a cart. Then I found a variety of trees--three of which I liked. The boxes were arranged in such a way that it was easy to find the trees in which I was interested. They were all in stock. It may not seem like a big thing, but finding my tree and not having to look further for it was a big thing on a busy day. I also checked out with Patricia and can't stress enough what a great employee she is. Such a gem!

I find it annoying they have one line that is not self check and put it as far from the entrance as possible. You could at least put it toward the middle. I’m quite capable of using self check but choose not to put people out of a job.

Great store! I have been shopping at this location for the past 3 years and I have always had a pleasant experience. Anytime I have needed help, I have always been able to find assistance.

I go out of my way to shop at the Geneva store. Dave in electrical is very helpful and knowledgeable. Bob and Juan at the pro desk are extremely courteous and helpful.

Best store for spring/summer plant selection and Xmas trimmings. Also great selection of carpeting.

Your three employees: Adam the store manager; Bill from Plumbing; and Carolyn from Paint are great, professional, and friendly employees who are willing to take the time to help customers, like me, who have no knowledge of home improvements. I would like to commend these three who made my life alot easier and less scary, as I complete my home improvements. These three have made me choose Home Depot as the store I will go to for all my home improvement needs. THANK YOU Adam, Bill, and Carolyn!!!

This was my second purchase. The staff members are all very respectful and knows their ways around the store. Also, the aisle are marked with precise home needs. I was able to easily find the items.

Always, clean, helpful, have all the products one wishes, can find stuff pretty quick. Helpful getting stuff to the car too, we're old people. We visit another Home Depot in another direction, but go to this particular one more often as do other shopping near by. Parking works great, it's in a great location.

Do not plan on getting what YOU WANT in any reasonable amount of time if they have to order it for you. They suck you in with you can't cancel a special order, and then still waiting 4 months later

I went to this store to shop for additional lumber because I had exhausted the type of lumber from another Home Depot. The service I received at this store was horrible. The sales associate offered help after I had to search for them. Then after helping with a cut of wood, he left me with my materials still in the saw and without saying a word. He seemed very irritated. Through my 16 yrs of customer service, I could never imagine treating a guest in my store that way. I wish I knew his name to pass it along because this is poor representation of the Home Depot brand. I will continue to love Home Depot, but Ill encourage others to stay away from the Geneva, IL location.

The sales associates who greet customers at this store invariably and without exception know exactly where each item in the store is. After greeting they ask if they can help. All I have to do is say that I am looking for "X" -- and I am immediately told which aisle, back or front, left or right. This is soooooooo valuable to me and to other customers I am sure.

Had never been to this store. Wow - best garden center I've seen! It was a crazy busy Saturday when we were there, but everything seemed to be running smooth. Kudos to employee Caroline for carrying my plants to the checkout and then to the car for me, as I had my dog in tow and not enough hands! That was way above and beyond!

Great store friendly people always and clean and stocked well

I needed assistance in finding the proper hook for a wooden sign I recently purchased. An incredibly kind man, by the name of Jim, helped me find exactly what I needed. Jim was compassionate, humorous, and even ensured I was going to pay the lowest, possible price for my item. Thank you so, so much, Home Depot in Geneva!

I was pleasantly surprised while checking out of the garden section that the cashier, Suzanne, was friendly and courteous and enjoyed speaking to her on my way out.
