I had a very poor experience trying to purchase a chainlink fence. I went to the website and found this store had the items I was looking for so I drove to this location. When I got there, I could not find the items or anyone to assist me. So I decided to order the items online so they would be pulled for me. The process took 3 plus weeks. During the process, the store canceled part of my order. When I one to pick it up, they couldn't find it. I attempted to speak to a manager. I waited 20 mins. When the store employee called the manager, I could tell from her face the manager was not coming or would be really delayed. I decided I had wasted enough of my time and energy on this store. If you are looking for assistance, or specific items, or need assistance with a problem. Glendale is not your store.

I had a wonderful experince with Glendale Home Deport Kitchen and bath department.

I work for a design install company and I take side jobs as well . Im always at different Home Depot stores. I would have to say My main concern when picking up material and supplies is how long I’m going to be there mainly the checkout lines. This store has a good in &out flow . The employees here are also friendly and helpful . Unlike other hd stores where employees look at you struggling and don’t care whatsoever even after you ask for help . In a nutshell this is one of my go to home depot stores .

Went in to buy some lumber, I went over to get it cut for me. I went to look for an employee and ask if someone could come give me a hand. They said they would call someone shortly ( this was at about 7:02 pm) after waiting about 15 minutes the other gentleman that was waiting with us got frustrated and left. We kept waiting. Finally I asked my GF if she could go ask some one, she did and came back with the same response.. " someone will be here in a moment" another 20 minutes go buy and nothing. I called the store and asked if someone there was a specific person I should look for who can cut up this lumber, the girl asked if I wanted to speak to the manager, who's name is Mariana, and I agreed. She answered the phone and i introduced myself, she "couldn't hear me" and hung up. I am beyond aggravated!! I walk up to the paint dep and ask if they could call Mariana over so I could talk to her. She reduced to come over and said a guy would be over soon to cut it. Ugh!!! I went back and waited. I told myself I am giving this 10 more minutes. Finally this guy named Jacob came and was able to cut it for us. He apologized and said they were short staffed..ect. I can understand that, I've worked retail too. What's aggravating Is that if they were so short staffed they could have told me and look it's going to be 30-40 minutes before someone can service you and then I could have continuted shopping while I waited. By the time he was done I just wanted to leave And avoid giving them any more patronage. My Receipt says 8:18pm. Over an hour waiting for such a quick service.

Everyone was great other than a employee called Magda who was extremely rude and didn’t even help me find merchandise in the packaging aisle. She gave me extreme attitude and I suppose she was having a bad but it was just unacceptable

We were able to find what we needed. The employees were helpful and friendly. Our check out experience was quick and the young man who helped us was friendly.

BERLYN AT THE PRO DESK WAS EXCEPTIONAL HER CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS ARE APPRECIATING ESPEACIALLY WHEN NEEDED ON A LONG DAY. HER SKILLS ARE WHAT MAKES ME MAKE THE TRIP TO THIS HOME DEPOT RATHER THAN GOING TO BURBANK WHI CH IS CLOSER TO ME. KEEP UP HE GOOD WORK

Rita and Berlyn excellent workers and extremely friendly they have a huge impact on my sp ending decisions and why I come from afar to just this home dept.

Sam was fantastic. From the moment I got there he greeted me, treated me with respect, and always had a smile on his face. I've shopped at a lot of different warehouse style stores and I usually have to find a person to help me. Instead Sam was right in front, actually wiping down a stove when I approached and he immediately asked if he could help me. He was polite and courteous, and went out of his way to explain the different models and brands. We found the model that was right for us and all with his help. He went through all the warranty information and explained that I would need a few other items in order for the washer and dryer to be setup, something that I would never even thought of if I had gone online to purchase an item. I'm hoping that I run into him again when I buy my new refrigerator in a few months. Definitely a 5 star employee and I'm glad to see Home Depot is finding the right employee's that are there to help.

John from the appliances section at the Glendale store was extremely helpful he considered our laundry location, the space the brand, our budget for a washer and dryer however, the shipping experience was horrible the company never called us that they were not going to deliver our washer and dryer and we took the day off to be home to receive both the washer and dryer. We lost pay and making today a little Date day for us while our little one was in school. Extremely sad experience and to think it becomes a reflection on Home Depot.

Been shopping here for well over 10 years and never have had a problem. I come here to find not only house hold items and garden supplies, but different material for props/arts/crafts uses. It's a bit of a neighborhood epicenter, as the community is pretty supportive of people looking for on-the-spot hiring for outdoor maintenance stuff, there's a hot dog vendor and small seating area which actually makes this Home Depot a bit of an oasis in an industrial-type area. Overall, the employees are helpful and the cashiers are usually cheerful. I think most customers don't know to take advantage of the classes and other offers and products this store has but I am glad to have this store in Glendale.

This store is an example of what not to do in the way of customer service. Unfriendly and unwilling to help. Nobody seems to like their job at this store.

Nobody is ever available to help you. And when you do find someone to help they know nothing about the department that they work in.

Is it standard for an associate of Hd to reply when asked may I ask you a question “this is not my section” seriously is that good service

the team her is exceptional, they break down your already difficult days with their most uplifting personalities. giving the amount of time I spend in this store buying material, its important to me

I visit this location only on rare occasions when I need to find one or two things, check out and go. While this store is well stocked and organized, it's lacking in some basic customer service practices. It's very difficult to find an employee to help you, and they're often poorly trained, lacking product knowledge, or unclear when giving directions to find merchandise. Entire sections of the store are often left unattended and, should you have a question, you might find yourself walking halfway across the building to chase down an employee. It used to be that when you walked into a Home Depot you were greeted by a knowledgeable, friendly team member who was intimately familiar with the layout of the store and merchandise options. You could walk into the store and say, "I need help with _________," and the team member would help you find what you're looking for, ask questions to steer you in the right directions, and give advice on how to use the materials you're purchasing: "You're going to need a lock washer if you're fastening those together." Instead, this store seems overrun with a younger staff who have been trained to point to aisles and say, "It's over there." The feeling you get when shopping this store is that the staff are focused more on stocking shelves and sweeping floors than they are in interacting with customers, creating relationships, and establishing themselves as an authority in home improvement. I see a lot of professional contractors moving through this store, so it may be their experience is better, but for the everyday consumer looking to start a home project, I'd recommend visiting a store that puts more emphasis on their customer service interactions.

This HD needs to hire more people and to train them better with the new software. New software doesn't operate itself.

Products can be found easy.

Everything you need is at this store. The employees are always friendly and professional and provide great customer service. Easy to find items with the employees help. It’s fun shopping experience thanks to the staff.
