We occasionally visit this store and each visit is a pleasure in dealing with the employees . The store is extremely organized and clean ! And really love the enclosed parking !

Customer service was horrible. From the staff to the manager and all in between. If there's another location near bye go. You spend your money to be disrespected!

I ordered lumber online to build a roof for my backyard deck. The delivery was delayed 3 times. Each time i recieved an email and text stating the order would arrive. Then after hours of waiting, a text that says order needs to be rescheduled. No one called, nor was it rescheduled. I had to call multiple times. Wait on hold. I was told there was a loading iasue with the truck. Also the driver called out. It finally arrived today 1 week later, this was the forth time. I called and asked for compensation and was told. My delivery was delayed but it was delivered and so nothing could be done. Unacceptable. After pushing the issue i was finally given the delivery fee back. I do NOT feel that is sufficient. My contractor was available the first 3 times! But cannot come today and the lumber has to sit in the rain for 2 days. Unacceptable. I have ordered online before and recived 2 sets of very large pavers delivered within 24hrs from the Gateway store. It was GREAT how fast they came. The service from this store is poor at best.

Lady Lynne helps me cut the dry wall and package it on my little scooter, I didn’t expect it works in that way. Grateful

I had to return an item that I bought online. Sometimes there is some "push back" but Matthew was exceptionally skilled, courteous, and professional. He sets a high standard for the HD brand.

Always a great experience shelves are always stocked. I can always get what I need. Cashiers are always friendly, especially Lynnne. Mike and Mohammed at the pro desk always looking to help , the associates on the floor Nyisha and Shalena & Evelyn and many others always making sure isles are neat and clean and shelves are fully stocked

Others don't have indoor parking which for the nadty weather days is great which is the 2nd reason I picked this store, 1st is cause it's so close to my house

On my recent visit SABRINA went out of her way to find the merchandise I wanted. She was patient and responsive, ALWAYS with a friendly disposition. I wish every sale rep was this wonderful. Kudos to SABRINA!!!

I go to this location because it’s right by the Holland tunnel otherwise I wouldn’t have any reason to go there. My last purchasing trip had such a messy layout in the hardware section, that I had to take a plunge on hinges that I knew were not adequate for what was needed. Literally several packages of hinges were open you would have sworn someone went there to open all of the hinges and spilled them out on the shelf. While I’m glad they provide some sort of bags. I’m shocked Home Depot was another large chain that did not push back when it came to the plastic bag ban. The walk in entrance seems to be only one entrance in and out. I believe I had to almost go around the block since they were doing some work and they’re one of the drive entrances. Especially due to the last experience I had doing a return with an angry associate. This location has nothing but convenience to me. If you thought Newark was bad you didn’t see anything this location makes that one seems pretty great. To be honest there was so much better experience.
