I started my attempt to special order flooring on Saturday 6/13. I called the Janzen Beach store, which is where I wanted to pick up my flooring. I tried the Pro desk. There was no answer. I tried the main number for the store & I was transferred to another line. There was no answer. I figured that since it was Saturday, they must be busy. On Monday 6/15, I tried again. Pro desk. No answer. Called the main number & again, I was transferred. No answer. I called the 1800HOMEDEPOT number. I was able to speak to a man who connected me with the Pro desk at Janzen Beach store. After talking to the pro desk (Monday morning), he said that I would need to speak with someone in flooring. He said that he would give them my information & they would call me. Yesterday, 6/19, I received a VM from Erin in flooring. I tried to call her back. Again, it was impossible to reach anyone in flooring. The person I talked with said she would give Erin my information & Erin would call me back when she was finished with her current customer. I waited 3 hours. Erin did not return my call. I called the store again. I am not exaggerating when I say that the phone rang for 7 minutes & 34 seconds before anyone answered (I have a timer on my phone). When someone finally answered, I asked to speak with the manager. I was able to speak with MJ, a supervisor in flooring. She was less than friendly or apologetic but she did take my order over the phone for over $3000 for flooring. It took me 6 days, 18 phone calls, and being transferred to another line at least 36 times to get my flooring ordered. Again, I do not exaggerate when I give these numbers. As customers, we trade very poor customer service for decent pricing!!!

The check out for on line orders is not wide enough to maintain social distancing. It must be reconfigured to comply with CDC guidelines. This compounded by the amount of employee traffic trying to fulfill on line orders. It is not enough to slap stickers on the floor when the physical layout does not allow for 6 feet of separation it is dishonest to pump advertising messages professing a commitment and concern for customers and employees without altering the physical layout to allow for the 6 ft of separation.

Employees were friendly, and helpful. When i had questions about placing a custom order they thoroughly explained everything about the process

The product that was in today’s ad was not in stock. However the guy working in the tool department gave me a discount on a comparable tool. This was greatly appreciated. I will definitely continue to shop at this location.

We love going to Jantzen Beach Home Depot Knowledgeable employees are always around and ready to help We purchased lights to replace 20 year old ones in our master closet and now got the same kind to replace the ones in garage Office is getting updated with new brighter lights that are more energy efficient. Bought the most gorgeous W & D by LG I've ever had Replacing the 10 year old front loaders with top loaders Found a big new freezer to replace the one that croaked Just too fun in that HD Today we wanted to get a new riding lawn mower and George walked us thru the HD website and we will get our new one in about a week

Even though I live in Gladstone, Oregon, which is a long way from Jantzen Beach Center This is the one I come to because I am very familiar with it and the people are great.

Buying a House and Shopping for Shades the First Time...Thank goodness for Erin K. who was so very helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. She had a customer before me and kept me updated about when she could help me. She guided me through the maze of shade choices very expertly and patiently. She was so thorough and precise making the order go smoothly. She also made the experience fun!

This store likely has the items you are looking for but getting somebody to take your money, they do not. If I am going to self service checkout, then I should get an employee discount. There was a day is the retail service industry that workers would collect your items and carry them to your car. Long are those days. However, online retailers will do better than that and deliver them to your front door. Something to think about.

Staff and managers are super friendly and very accommodating. I felt like the employees were empowered to help me out and get me what I needed. This is my one and only stop (given they carry what I need). Big shout out to Holly, Sarah, Mitch, and Kathleen! My only complaint is, nothing against them or the store, is now I have a lot of work to do! Haha!

I have been a longtime Home Depot consumer and customer but this last experience was over the top because of the level of customer service I received here at this store. I was able to purchase the appliance I was looking for and was absolutely impressed with the Home Depot associate that I was lucky enough to have answer my call. Raven was attentive, friendly and helpful and epitomized what it means to provide excellent customer service. Home Depot is lucky to have this employee representing the company and I was just as lucky to have this great interaction and overall positive experience.

Wyatt, at the customer service desk provides exceptional excellent customer service. I have been a manager in my own line of work and I wish I had an employee like him. For a young man he is very kind, helpful, empathetic, insightful, detail oriented, great mannered and self motivated. I've been assisted by other young adults as well as older and they usually have a negative distracted demeanor but Wyatt is wonderful. I arrived at his store very early in the morning at 6:30am and he was in a great mood and greeted me quickly and remembered I was the lady that called him on the phone asking for information about a product I needed to exchange. He provided me with inventory information over the phone before I drove to the store and that has not always been the case in my past experience with Home Depot. I usually get hung up on, brushed off the call with no answer to my question. Wyatt, even went to get a flat bed cart for me and when I was ready to check out, he made the transaction quick and easy and made sure I was taken care of.

Great selection, all employees i interacted with were super helpful and nice, and knew the products well. One person was really helpful in particular! they had a plaid shirt and short cut dyed hair and was really helpful! I always appreciate that since I tend to get lost in big stores often. Yall deserve raises!
