Some of the stock products are similar to other stores but there are a lot of others that they stock and I can’t get elsewhere, so I shop at Home Depot as my one stop shop.

I live 20 miles from the Kitty Hawk Home Depot and it’s worth the trip. The selections in the hardware, paint, and lumber departments make it an easy decision to shop there.

We had our kitchen custom designed by the Home Depot and it was such a fun and easy process!!! Their cabinet and countertop selection was perfect and the designer was extremely friendly and knowledgeable! They show you how the kitchen will look right on the screen, it's awesome! You can move things around and maximize the space, it's really top notch!

As a long satisfied customer who had contracted a number of high value home improvements through this Home Depot store, I had no hesitation to repeat when I needed three external doors replaced. All went well, installer measured the job, doors were ordered and install date agreed. This is when the problems started. The installer failed to show not once but three times. Failed to answer or return all calls and text messages. Eventually did show weeks later, and proceeded with the install, however, continuing his theme of failures, he failed to verify the replacement door was the correct door prior to ripping out the old door. Unfortunately the new door wasn't correct but he'd ripped out the old door. This story goes from bad to worse and I will not labor the point suffice to say this did not have a happy ending. My evaluation is of the Home Depot Professional Service product and not the doors per se, as I never got to enjoy the doors. Engaging the store, I that they use an alternative installer but was informed he was the only installer they had for doors. Given I had no trust or confidence in this contractor, I was left with no other option than to cancel the order and look for another solution. Three months after placing the order, I'm in a worse situation than when I started, original door torn up and faced with placing a new order with another company. Based on this experience I cannot recommend the Kitty Hawk, NC Home Depot store for door installation services. This is a shame as the store has some great people who are always willing to help and advise, just a shame its let down by it "Profession Expert Installation" services being anything but expert or professional. I cannot recommend more strongly that this store find a new installer or it will have a growing list of dissatisfied customers. My rating reflects the quality and value of the Home Depot professional services and not the products, i.e., the doors.

Needed help in Plumbing and the sales agent was so help with my issue and even helped me find all of the other items I needed

I’m an artist in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. I shop and visit at the Kitty Hawk Home Depot. I love the employees at this store. Every time I visit they go out of their way to assist. I’ve been shopping at this location for 9 years and will continue to shop here. Thank you HD employees for making my life easier.

The service we received both in person and by phone was outstanding and it was quick and accurate to order a new stove

The paint dept was great the girl matched the paint exact with our 10 year old paint color. At least the people in your store know the business.

The gentleman working the electrical department is very courteous and knowledgeable about the store inventory. He has helped me several times over the past couple of years. Wish I could remember his name!

We recently needed assistance with door locks and Danny G and Carter were very helpful.

After shopping around for a few months, we started working with Joanne O'Toole in the applicances section at the Kitty Hawk Home Depot. Joanne was professional and very personable with us as we worked with her in purchasing a dishwasher and electric range. Her efforts to give us specifications that we were interested in was very helpful. She readily looked up availability and delivery of the different appliances, made copies of them for our review and comparison. After our purchase, the applicances were delivered as promised, a week later. When the dishwasher was being installed, a flaw in our plumbing forced them to stop the install. The serviceperson immediately solved the problem by scheduling us for a professional plumber who came two days later, fixed the issue, replaced and installed the new dishwasher.

Love going into store 3650. The employees there are so helpful and make you feel so welcome. Definitely worth the trip to the Kitty Hawk.

Very friendly associates who always ask can they help us find what we are looking for particularly Kip in the electrical dept. and the two cashiers who assisted us checking out Danny G. and Reid. We had a large order and they were very friendly and courteous and wanted to be sure we were able to find everything we needed.

Helpful and pleasant employees make shopping here a pleasure!

Highly recommend this store. Staff very friendly and helpful. If you need a kitchen remodel please stop by the kitchen dept and ask for Angela- she is wonderful!

Like everywhere else, this store is short staffed. If you don’t need any help, it’s fine. But if you need paint mixed, or have a question or special order, be prepared to wait until the one guy working in that department comes back from lunch

Well-stocked store. Very helpful and friendly employees/associates. I shop here often : online for pickup orders, online for non-stocked items, and in the store. In many years/transactions at Home Depot, I have had only one less-than-satisfactory experience (and, it was five years ago).
