This store made my shopping experience for a refrigerator painless. There were enough salespersons to assist. My salesperson, Johanna, was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. She took the time to get me the discount I was entitled to by opening a charge. Another Home depot salesperson in Toms River said a discount could not be applied to an appliance. I was asked a number of questions to assist me to make the best choice for a refrigerator. And the sales tax was reduced for Lakewood.

THIS STORE IS EXTREMELY CUSTOMER FRIENDLY. EMPLOYEES FROM VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS OFFER HELP IF THEY SEE YOU WONDERING ABOUT A PRODUCT.

This was the best experience that we ever had at a home improvement store. We still can't believe how smoothly it went! We were lucky enough to have Jenn S. She was an absolute sweetheart and very well informed. She addressed our concerns and questions about the dishwashers. We were in and out within 30 mins!

I went to the Lakewood store for it is the closest from my home.I was greeted by a young lady in the garden center by the name of Katie.She told me where the product I was looking for was and she was very helpful.I think all your workers should be more like her...Keep up the good work Katie!

The staff is highly knowledgeable and have experience in their departments, which as a DIYer I find incredibly useful. Each visit is quick and painless. Associates are everywhere and always willing to help, checkout is quick and many registers are always available. Also, the few times I’ve had my kids with me and needed assistance, I have always gotten timely help with a smile. Customer service is the reason I choose one store over another and this store has it! They also have the inventory, always find what I’m looking for.

I've shopped here over and over for big ticket items like flooring, etc and have always been pleased with the help in the store as well as the installers.

I am a head injury patient and I was in the Lakewood NJ store looking for a specific bathroom vanity and top. Joe in that department was so kind and told me not to apologize for my occasional stutter and memory lapses. He spent a lot of time searching the computer and eventually I was able to identify the one I was wanting. He along with a Denise and Stefan searched the high racks and eventually found it and then carefully brought it down. They never made me feel they were bothered and were so nice through out the process. I didn’t get his name but the loader out front was so helpful and knew exactly how to load it without causing and damage to it or himself.. Great experience.. thank you

Went looking for an outside door the employee was very helpful. We purchased the door and he took the time to explain what paint and how to apply it to the door.

The Lakewood store is much better/easier to shop in than either Paramus,N.J.,Nanunet,N.Y. or Bradenton,FL. I shop in all four stores. Especially in your outdoor plant/shrub department,in Lakewood everything is well watered an alive,I cannot say that at your other stores that I shop at.

As I stated in my survey responses, a nice busy but clean and well stocked and well organized store with friendly helpful associates , cashiers and employees. I always find what I need or get advice on alternative products. Always a pleasant experience.

always easy to move around this store compared to others including other home depots. We had a man named Ray in the paint dept that really knew what he was talking about and was extremely helpful. made some recommendations that helped us with our project.

Fast service.... Great return policy. Sale items are always in stock with a large display.
