THEY DISCRIMINATE AGAINST CERTAIN CUSTOMERS

Purchased a few plants from this store. When I went to use self-checkout I was yelled at by a bald associate who is in need of better training. Won't be shopping at this store ever again.

I just bought an air conditioner and refrigerator. Service was great

I have bought several items at this store location. The store is clean, well stocked and organized, and there are always plenty of friendly staff to help you find what you need.

I am a first time homebuyer, and have been doing lots of little projects. This Home Depot location has been wonderful. The staff has helped me find products I'm looking for and with returns and exchanges. Large store, but easy to navigate. They also have the BEST PRICES on cleaning supplies. I will be back again

I was able to buy 40 heavy bags of brown mulch for our Block Association Spring Event. It was delivered on time exactly where we wanted it!

The cashier name Gabby was very efficient and friendly. The lines moved quickly.

The employees at this store are so knowledgeable.

Great selection but I wish there weren’t items behind lock and key. It slows down the experience.

I went to the store for help in making an on line order. Left with Two duplicate orders, because they could not cancel one & incorrect procedures for me to follow to cancel one of them. No help from store, no help from call center. “Not allowed to give out delivery service information” Had to find phone number of delivery service to cancel deliver. If it’s in stock, probably ok to buy, never order anything from online system

Setting up a garden in Manhattan is no easy feat, and the garden center, and delivery and cashiers made this experience even more of a headache. Delivery never showed up, no call, I had to open hours trying to reach someone who found my purchases in the corner of a warehouse...live plants, wilting. Promised an early delivery the next day, and would waive the fee. The fee was never waived, and the delivery did not arrive again until after 3. Plants on delivered were not even the ones I had chosen. HORRIBLE.

Great staff and products

I was just at Home Depot in Chelsea and was very pleasantly surprised by how every employee I encountered greeted me, asked if I needed help, and had a very warm and engaging personality. This is a remarkable change from having to endlessly search for an associate to ask for assistance only to be told that it isn't their section which is the usual Home Depot shopping experience. This location is different in the best way possible. There is a different energy in the store which feels very welcoming and customer centered. It was a pleasure to shop there. They are doing something right in this store to have such energetic and engaged employees.

Associates Julian & Melvin in section D5 were helpful, patient, and knowledgeable, helping me to resolve what I thought was a terrible situation.

Went to buy Everbilt Spoon Shelf Supports for a bathroom cabinet (8PM, 3/15/2023) and it took speaking to about five employees to find this item. The (Caucasian) guy who worked at aisle 49 (where the item was actually located at eventually) was unable to find this item, but the last guy in the Bath department (Patrick) walked me back to the basement and found it. Thanks to Colette at the front desk for her patience in directing me to the right person. What should have been a 3-minute store visit ran about 40 minutes, and all because of one lazy employee. Moral of the story: don’t keep bad employees.

So impressed by Wes in lighting. I brought in an old lightbulb and he directed me to where it was, and explained the lighting section. Really appreciated also Tiffany in customer service/check-out for being really helpful and just overall nice. Will shop there again if this is the norm!

Well stocked and staffed with highly knowledgeable associates, this Home Depot always comes through. Whether you need a rivet or flooring or a microwave oven or a toilet handle, skip the online hell and come to this store!

Truly, shocked I was in NYC given how kind and helpful everyone was. They really cared about sharing their knowledge (especially in the garden department). Would definitely return for more plants.

Trying to renovate a bathroom? Choose another location. No current displays. Employees who can't be bothered. Hard pass.

Although shopping at Home Depot can be super frustrating since they often run out of products that are popular by 5pm - however, resolving your problems especially returns is not an unpleasant experience, thanks to employees like Jazzy (a paint expert) and Candy and Amerique in the Flooring sections. They provide patient and courteous customer service and alternatives for out of stock products.

Two gentlemen were exceedingly helpful and sweet on my recent shopping trip to Home Depot. One was a Mike C. the greeter who made me feel very welcome and took care of getting a cart for me as I had lots of packages. The other was a very gentle young man named Karon, who helped me downstairs with an item I couldn't find. He went out of his way to locate the item, discovered that it was out of stock and was able to find out and let me know when it would be in. He happened to be mute, and was more helpful and available than any other employee I've encountered lately, and extremely kind and gentle. These two experiences make me feel very sure that when I go to Home Depot I will be valued and receive all the help I could possibly ask for.
