They had DeWalt tools in stock while other stores did not. I dealt with several staff members during this shopping trip and all were very helpful and friendly. Wendy in Customer Service friendly, upbeat and took the time to explain some changes that will take effect at THD after the first of the year. She was also at checkout by the time I finished shopping and helped me there too.

The Mathews NC Home Depot is a pleasure to shop at , providing good stock of most items and a friendly staff to help you .

Customer service was horrible at the self checkout counter. I tried to give them a chance again and unfortunately it was time wasted. I will never go back to this location again!

Danielle and Ryan at the Home Depot at 1837 Matthews Township Pkwy. went the extra mile when I dropped by in need of help replacing tiny batteries in our grandson's musical ELMO book. They used a store screwdriver and did the batteries replacement for me while I stood there. Very impressive!

I got this fiber optic light last week. They did not have the other two little lights. The store employee told me to not touch the light on top or it would stop working. Glad he mentioned that. I had some latex gloves and used them and so proud that I at least fixed this one.

Elizabeth saved the day for us! She went well out of her way to help us find the only remaining Ryobi unit we needed for a gift. THANK YOU!

I think his name was Malcom. He was walking down the isle shaking his head, and saying "No, No." "That is a no, no." He saw me attempting to reach for the heavy toilet to put it in by shopping cart. " The fact that he cared enough to grab it out of my hands, and smiled, and greeted myself, and my small children made all the difference in the world. He went to the front to get a flat cart. He found me on the next isle over, to tell me he would take my toilet up to the register for me. Good customer service is hard to find these days.

I was amazed at all the friendly associates at this Home Depot! It blew my regular Home Depot away!

STORE REPRESENTATIVES SPEND A LOT OF TIME TALKING TO EACH OTHER LEAVING THE CUSTOMERS UNATENDED. EMPLOYEES NEED TO BE MORE KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THE STORE SERVICES AND PRODUCTS. MANAGERS COULD USE SOME TRAINING IN CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.

need to have more people working on the weekend especially a holiday weekend

I recently purchased a cabinet makeover, new kitchen appliances, flooring, and granite from this store. Dawn in Kitchens & Baths assisted me every step of the way. She was there to assist me with any questions I had during and after the purchase. She was very knowledgeable about the products and services that Home Depot offers. She offered some helpful suggestions too. Upgrading your home can be very stressful but she has made my experience very pleasant and exciting. I will refer all of my family and friends to Dawn at the Matthews Home Depot for their home upgrade needs. :-)

The Matthews, NC Home Depot is always a "go to" for home repair and garden products. Prices are competitive. The store is well stocked and the employees are always helpful. It's a "big box" store with a "mom and pop" character. It's a store where you will get to know the employees by first name. Kudos to the workers who make this store so special.

June Massey was exceptional. I value her professionalism, friendlinees and knowledge. Other employees in the appliance department were also helpful although one of the items I needed (low profile microwave) was not available and could not be ordered. The store was clean and associates were willing to assist.

Extremely helpful with my purchase of a riding lawn mower. Had some trouble with my credit card because of large amount, Home Depot representative tried several times. After bank emailed me to make sure it wasn't a fraud purchase, it went through. The representative was very patient and kind.

Rachel Ferrey in the Appliance department went above and beyond to help my wife and I get a replacement refrigerator. Knowledge of product, delivery and services was great. Looking forward to the new refrigerator.

This location has friendly associates, but they need to be more familiar where products are located in store.

We have been shopping at this store for many years. While it is an older, smaller store in the company's inventory, it provides great customer service. Janet in flooring is great to work with. She was able to provide alternative solutions when a large order was on backorder. While this store may not always have the best inventory (due to size), they are always willing to assist in ordering the product for delivery or pickup at another local store. All staff is very knowledgeable and trying to help customers spend their money wisely.
