Had a very disappointing experience at the Home Depot store located at 3500 Market Place, Monterey Park, CA. Today, I visited the store to return a bag of soil. When I arrived at the customer service counter, there were no other customers in line. Despite this, the cashier, Brenda, looked at me and then looked away without any acknowledgment. When she finally decided to assist me, she rudely waved me over. I explained that I wanted to make a return, but Brenda did not say a word and simply reached for my receipt. After processing the return, she tossed the receipt in my direction without any form of acknowledgment or communication. Feeling confused, I asked if I should leave the cart with the bag of soil there. She merely looked away and nodded without saying a single word or offering a smile throughout the entire transaction. I am unsure if this is standard behavior for employees in the returns department, but I believe all customers should be treated with respect, regardless of whether they are making a purchase or a return. I have attached a copy of my receipt, which includes the store/transaction information and the employee's name. I hope Brenda does not continue to provide this level of service to other customers. I am extremely disappointed with this experience and will not be shopping at Home Depot again.

I have to give a shout out to Dymitri & Yacel for going beyond to assist me while I shopped at the store. Even though Dymitri was being pulled to assist different customers, he made the time to help me out after 4-5 others did not. And as I checked out Yacel was very pleasant and helpful. I would only return to this location because of them.

What can I say about Richard Fuentes (Coach) Employee at Home Depot’s Garden department that hasn’t been said already. What an Awesome person to have so much knowledge about gardening and other developments as well. Thank you so very much Richard F, my project have been amazing because of your help and support.

This is the worst customer service experience that I have had. I asked an employee for help looking for an item and his response was: If you cant find it, how can I. I asked for a manger to help me and his response was: Go ahead, I don't care. I will never be returning to shop at Home Depot. He was extremely rude and unprofessional. You can tell he does not like his job or the people that he works with.

I needed a new water heater, manufacturer was great with hi ring the warranty. Monique at customer service was awesome!!! Staff there were very helpful and ready to serve!

This location is better than others I have been to, it's well organized and well stocked and the employees are helpful

Found Sonia B. in the appliance department and she was very so helpful and knowledgeable. I'm happy with my purchases. Store is overall very tidy and people are welcoming!

This is not the ideal place to go shopping for flowers or gardening plants. I’ve been to other Home Depot where it is bigger and have more variety. Very disappointing. Also this place being next to the 2 most popular food chains the parking is horrible.

I though i was going to take me more than half hour to get my item and check out. But it took 15 minutes and just in time for me to get going with my Day in schedule

Today, our garbage disposal died after 24 years. I knew what I wanted. The first associate knew exactly where the garbage disposal was. It was super to find it & select which one. Another associate was near by whom I ask if I need extra things to change out the unit. Making sure I knew what I was doing, he assured me I was good to go. At check out, Sale Cashier Bertha help me get the best deal, saving moving, which gets me brownie points with the wife. Happy Wife, Happy Life. A wonderful win-win. Thank you Bertha, you are wonderful.

On my last visit I was loading up bags of garden stones and the staff member who was working in garden department asked me if I wanted him to load those bags for me , I said no I’m getting my exercise but I cannot tell you how refreshing it was to here the offer of help. Made my trip very pleasant. Thank you for the great customer service!! Great Job!!

I’ve come here since they opened, I’ve spent a lot of money, honestly most employee and managers here aren’t great. That was until about 3 days ago I met Richard Fuentes in Garden. Great guy and always happy to help. Next time you’re here look for him if toure stuck waiting for assistance, he’ll get you right so you can be on your way. Thanks Richard

I was using fast check out. As I grabbed my receipt, woman employee comes from behind and snatched my receipt without permission or without explanation. Completely rude and unacceptable behavior. Couldn’t even look us in the eye.

Went to have some keys made and I was glad that there was someone to help me with it

This home depot needs more people trained on how to process returns. This home deport needs better management staff The managers leave early and leave cashiers and other employees who can’t help by themselves and this is not correct . All managers should be present no matter what type of day. If the manager is not present have two back up managers that can held the cashier on the front end . This store is the worst Home Depot. Do not come here

We went to Home Depot Monterey Park to look at a new refrigerator. We were helped by Irene who went out of her way to answer all our questions. She also helped locate a different item that was not in the shelf and lookup another order purchased online. Irene was extremely helpful, super friendly and connected to us on a personal level. Thank you Irene!

I went to the paint department in search of some assistance for an outdoor painting project on my home. Mike in the pain department went above and beyond to help me make an informed decision on proper materials and paints that should be purchased.

I came in looking for a product not knowing exactly what brand was the best. An employee name Fatima helped me out find exactly what I needed. Highly recommended store!

I remodel my home every 6 months and always come to this Homedepot in Monterey Park because I feel very welcome .

If you have to call and check for product availability, save your nickle and go buy a chewing gum. The Home Depot slacker employees don't answer land lines but when you get to the store you can help but to see them on their cell phones like they are going out of style.
