Between the horrible attitude and lack of customer service, we received when I made this purchase, having to call back the next day to fix all of the errors on the order such as the address and phone number being wrong, leading up to the delivery date when the item was NOT delivered as guaranteed and was given the run around about why? Item was GUARANTEED to be delivered on 12/10 between 6 AM and 8 PM. So I sit home all day from 6 AM to 8 P.M. About 6:45 I decide to call and check on my order. The first young lady I spoke with took my order number, quickly tells me this was ordered from another store and I have to call them. I say to her it wasn't, I'm calling the number on my receipt, she tells me she cant help me and I need to call some other store. Questioning this, I then call the store back and speak to a gentleman who looks up my order and tells me some odd story about it coming from another store and I have a window until 8 P.M; and it should be delivered by 8 PM. But they currently just did a delivery in Phoenix. Ok....great. Flash forward to 8:13 when nothing has been delivered. I then make a THIRD call to the store. I speak this time to a manager named "Vickie". Vickie asks for my order number, tells me shes going to look it up and then places me on hold. She comes back on the line a few minutes later and starts talking some story about even though I purchased the grill at this store, the order went to another store and she shows the delivery date as the next day 12/11. I state to her several times that is not what the receipt, nor the associates told us when we purchased it. Her story makes no sense and again after stating my receipt showed a delivery date of today I'm then told "She doesn't know what to tell me":. I state what horrible customer service her store has and I should cancel my order. Her reply was if I want to cancel, she needs to call the store in time before it goes out. Ya, let me at this point make life easier for you. The condescension in her voice was very clear she obviously didnt believe the delivery date was 12/10 and "I dont know what to tell you, my system shows 12/11". I then get in my car and drive up to the store. I asked one of the customer service associates to speak with Vickie. They said Vickie would be down. I begin small talking with one of the associates who does in fact tell me "we looked it up, it WAS supposed to be delivered today. They changed the date". Which instantly told me someone most likely forgot to load it in the truck. Again NOONE could bother contacting me?!? Vicki finally arrives where I thanked her for her time and said I wanted her to look at my receipt and asked what did the date say, and what was today's date? She again tries giving my some lame excuse completely unaware of what her associate had just told me. She again stated it would be delivered tomorrow. (Again with absolutely no apology or acceptance of any wrongdoing). I double checked to make sure that I did have to sign for the item. She stated I would. I then told her I may or may not be home. They would have to call me as my time is important too. She shot back "Well, if you're not home, they'll just take it back to the store". My response was "Funny as I paid them to deliver it today." and I walked out. I can't stress enough the complete LACK of customer service from start to finish at this place. Why the crappy service? Was it because when you tried to sell us this grill for 199.00, we pointed out it literally had a sign for 149.00 on it? We were then told "Well that sale ended two days prior". THEN TAKE DOWN YOUR SIGNS ON TIME. Was it because we questioned why our associate told us it was 79.00 for deliver and then charged 89.00 at the end? Was it because I was becoming impatient after spelling my first name THREE times for the associate who still couldn't get it right? Was it because we were irritated by the next day having to call to change the address, phone number, and billing address because ALL OF IT was wrong?!? Was it because Im irritated that after three phone calls and having to drive there to show Vickie my receipt, she just stands there, unable to apologize and just tries blow smoke screens at me completely unaware her associates have already busted her out. I didn't come in to buy Front row tickets to a crap show. I came in to buy a grill. I'll be happy to spend my money elsewhere.

It was a very convenient location, since I also wanted to go to Michaels also.

This is best Home Depot I have ever shopped at. Employees are ALL very helpful. I never have to go hunting for help, they are always willing. Thank you, Home Depot.

It's a great store, but no one seems concerned about the pandemic. Shoppers are allowed to wander about the store without masks and, seemingly, no one in management seems to care. I won't be back until the pandemic ends or the store management takes it seriously.

Our front door lock had stopped working from the outside. The night before Thanksgiving I arrived at the store right after it had closed. Tanner was outside and informed us of the closure and apologized. He asked what we were looking for and shared that we knew exactly what we wanted. He lead us inside and to Andrew who knew exactly where the item was and helped us search for the proper color. They got us in and out with our merchandise in record time. Thanks for the quick and friendly service! I'll definitely be going back.

The store could use more checkouts because there is always a long line waiting to check out. Even though they try to move the line along as quickly as possible, there are never enough checkout isles. I love shopping at this location because I know the layout of the store. The associates are always friendly and helpful.

We have been in the Mesa community for 26+ years and our Home Depot is very convenient and treat us very very well. Thank You all for your patience and time in this crazy time we are all going thru right know. We will eventually get to a NEW normal---yes better sooner than later but the human race have to be very patient and understanding of others.

Yes, with help from store staff I was able to find everything I was looking for. It didn't matter which associate I spoke to, they new what isle the product was on. I want to give a "shout out" to Jelly. She went out of her way to be helpful and sped up my checkout.

All of your stores are well stocked and well maintained and the costumer service is always well informed

every time I visit this store I'm always greeted at the door and they are alway anxious to answer any question I have about what I'm after and are very knowlagable about the location of the product I am looking for. I would recommend this store to all my friends

A big thank you to Don in the plumbing department for helping me get around my current irrigation problems with a roundabout solution that saved me much digging and aggravation!

Why have cashiers supposedly that can help if all they do is give you bad attitude and can't even listen to what your telling them. So annoying, if you don't like your job then quit. Don't take out your frustration on the customer

the Mesa store that I do my shopping is locetrd close to my home and the personnel there are very knowledgable with the store layout and the cashieer that helped me today Matthew, was very cheerfull and helpfull . I would recomend this store to all my friends

I visited the Mesa store at Mckellips and Power roads to buy a starter assembly for my Troybilt tiller. I was informed that the store didn't carry the whole assembly but was informed that a new pull rope could be installed in my starter. They had the pull rope in stock and Steven and Will in equipment rentals performed this task quickly and courteously! Not only did the save me time but saved me money!!! Thanks guys and thanks Hone Depot!

Customer service means little at this Home Depot

It is the best Home Depot store of several in my general area. At an different shopping time, in the hardware department I received help from a young man. He offered the help as I was choosing a product. He observed me trying to choose an item, watched me, and came to me with advice. And it was very good advice.

Every time I go into the store on Power and McKellips the employees are welcoming and helpful. I am not much of a handyman and I always get advice and the product I need from them.

The store has the best staff! They truly seem happy that you are visiting their store… I am always asked if I need help finding anything and everybody has a smile… even under the masks :-) I have also received assistance when I have asked for help ordering an item and the special order desk and the return desk are efficient and have made purchases very easy. We love the East Mesa Home Depot!

Don went above and beyond helping me with some bathroom plumbing/fixture issues. I appreciated that he came up to me and asked if I needed assistance. I saw that as he was performing his job duties, he was consistently asking all the customers he passed if they needed assistance. To me, that is excellent customer service! It's also uncommon at many stores, so this Home Depot has done something right.
