Helpful hands throughout the store. Holly in garden, Nathaniel the manager, and Victoria the cashier were the icing on the cake. This store has improved in the past year I hope the management team keeps leading the way to success!

Jose V went wayyyy out of his way to help me with a special Milwaukee promo that I did not know about. Thank you sir I will appreciate it every time I use this new drill! And thank you Casier Elsa with finding the survey info on the receipt!

The moment I drove into the lot, the flower choices … they literally blew me out the water. I was like a kid at the candy store!! I LOVE the employees who took they’re time to put these plants out and to the employees that care for them! I just love you all! The aisle are always full. Never a disappointment!

Home Depot has the tools I need. Thanks to Manuel at this store location. He was very helpful and courteous.

The store manager acted like offering any form of customer service was not part of his job description. We needed assistance with a water heater we purchased at that store that ended up being defective; they informed us we needed to call the manufacturer and that was it. We went to another Home Depot and they offered to call and assist us every step of the way. The company is great, but people like him make it a not pleasurable experience for Pro Customers, whom essentially are their "bread and butter".

Employees could care less- no manager available when there is an issue

We bought a new Weber grill and since it is a natural gas model, we had to wait for a forklift driver to get it down. Everyone who works at this store was awesome...friendly, professional, prompt as could be on a busy weekend. Got it home and hauled it up four flights to our roof deck only to unpack and discover it had damage that clearly occurred at Weber - - dents on the hood were from the inside of the grill, and scratches. Packing material was pristine so I am confident some Weber employee just DNGAF about their job. Anyhow, we hoped to call HD and just bring back the damaged hood and swap it out from another grill but unfortunately they aren't allowed to do that. We had to repack the entire thing and haul it back. Very inconvenient but not the fault of the HD employees who are just doing what they are empowered to do and also definitely not the ones who damaged the grill. As annoyed as I was that my weekend got wasted on a grill, the folks at this store were still the high point of the whole fiasco - - helpful and friendly to someone who may have been less than happy. I highly recommend this store. The replacement grill is perfect BTW.

I have other locations closer but Fontella provides excellent customer service and goes above and beyond.

I had trouble locating an item that showed on my app but the store did not initially show it was in stock. Esmerelda didn't give up but continued to look and find the item for me.

We LOVE this Home Depot. Honestly, it's the best one in the city! Never had an issue and the garden center and plant section are always stocked and filled with amazing stuff!

Dino Marinovic was the specialist, at the home depot location in Chicago. Store # 1912, that helped us when we purchased kitchen appliances. He was extremely patient, knowledgeable and answered all our questions.

With more tan 24 hours of weather warnings about sleet and freezing rain followed by predicted lows of -14 degrees, I expected to have difficulty getting ice melting compound because I waited too long to go out. Not only did they have plenty of choices , an assistant saw I needed help , lifted the heavy bag for me and offered to lift it into my car . I was in and out in less than ten minutes and driving home just before the freezing rain started . I regret I did not take note of the Home Depot employee’s name to notify management what a great job he’s doing. Will definitely return when I need home improvement , home maintenance goods. Great location , nice staff.

This location (North Ave in Chicago) is almost 10 miles from our suburban home. But they were the only Home Depot (and only store in ALL of Chicagoland) to still have Christmas tree storage containers. Sofia & Gabe made getting ours a breeze! Much easier than expected.

It is so easy to find what I need as a home owner at North Ave Home Depot

Every time I look at my backsplash, I think of how empathetic Ms. Lanae was when she learned the watersaw I rented damaged most of the tile. I showed her the video of how the saw was cracking my tile but she assured me I didn't have to go to such extreme. I just want to add that its rare to encounter people in service who actually listen to your issue without any negative connotations. I was expecting a fight although I extend kindness at 1st interaction & this lady extended the same courtesy! WOW... Thank you Lanae and thank you Home Depot for placing this spirit in the place I needed her. As for Terrence and Brian in Paint, I wanna send a special thank you to the both of them as well for their assistance and willingness to stop what they were doing to make sure I had all my questions answered. Terrence even took the time to give me examples. My walls will look the way I need them to look all because Terrence didn't let me make the mistake of purchasing the wrong paint. Finally, please tell the cashier Annette that her energy is unmatched. Thanks for the smiles girl. Everyone please stay well, be safe, wash your hands often and BE KIND. Its all essential..... If you’d like to be spoken to like a delinquent child, be sure to visit this location! Where a horrendously rude and overweight sales associate will be sure to accuse you of steeling and bark at you on how to perform self check out! If you enjoy being denigrated for absolutely no reason what so ever, be sure to go to North Ave. Home Depot, where miserable employees will project all their insecurities onto you, the customer!

Great customer service

Worst Home Depot experience ever! I returned an item and was given a card to use for store credit. When I tried to purchase an item with that card, it didn’t work. I was told that the card was already used - it was not. I was then told it would be locked for the never 45 minutes so I would have to wait to spend it. No other assistance was offered. I paid and left but now have no way of knowing whether the card will work next time so I may have just lost money on that return. No one was helpful or apologetic. I will likely never shop at this particular Hone Depot again and may switch to Lowe’s entirely.

WE HAVE BEEN TO A FEW HOME DEPOT STORES OVER THE YEARS, BUT WE ALWAYS END UP BACK AT THE NORTH AVENUE STORE BECAUSE THEY SEEM TO HAVE A LARGER SUPPLY OF WHAT WE NEED AND IN STOCK. WE ALWAYS GET SOME ONE TO HELP US, DON'T HAVE TO SEARCH FOR THEM WHEN WE NEED THEM AND THE STORE IS ALWAYS NICELY CLEAN AND TIDY. YOUR ASSOCIATES/EMPLOYEES HAVE ALWAYS BEEN FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL TO US.

While the process was not perfect, Prynce did everything he could to make me feel comfortable throughout the process and while he was working on trying to resolve the issue and later bringing the right person to help resolve it.

CERTAIN ASSOCIATES AREN'T WILLING TO HELP AT ALL

There was plenty of staff available to assist with my needs. The staff was knowledgeable . There was product available for purchase. The restroom was not locked ( no key code needed) it was very clean, no odors ,no paper on the floor, toilets were clean, flushed etc. Soap and paper towels available stocked.

If you need help with choosing & purchasing carpet…. Go see Neil Sterling in the floor department. He is knowledgeable & a real joy to work with to get what you need. He made my visit enjoyable! He’s a keeper Home Depot!!

everyone is always very helpful in this store. The only problem is that they are out of the type of bulbs I need many times.

Store manger is very unprofessional. Will never shop there again.
