This Home Depot is set up very well for the social distancing for the virus. I feel very safe shopping at this Home Depot. Their workers are the best, always helpful and friendly, especially during these trying times.!

I have always found what I needed and if I could not they would find it for me. Employees are helpful and respectful. The cost of items are very much in line with other big box or appliance stores.

I did not want to touch the touch screen at self-checkout without cleanng my hands afterwards because of this possible contamination at this time of Coronavirus. But they said that sanitizing wipes were not intended for customers to use only for themselves.

The store is very clean, associates were very helpful and prices are competitive. I do visit it every week doing renovations on my house and my experience is always great.

Always a comfortable search, familiar layout and very helpful personnel. My projects have been "saved" multiple times by their associates, knowing where to look and find solutions.

I have had several excellent experiences at Palatine Home Depot. After my house fire, I needed a new kitchen and appliances. Home Depot had what I wanted and the sales associates and kitchen designers are so very knowledgeable and helpful. The whole atmosphere of the store is welcoming and pleasant. All customers are treated with respect and the entire staff is customer oriented.

Mike D. from the plant section made my experience wonderful. He helped carry everything out for me and waited patiently while I decided to buy a plant! It was a great example of wonderful customer service.

very friendly employees and excellent selection

I went to get a replacement for my dryer. I had an idea of what I wanted and what competitor stores nearby were offering - in terms of price and payment options. My sales associate was very knowledgeable with different dryer products, features and my choices. He even showed me a copy of the latest consumer report. He went to a competitor website, per my request and showed me what they have and matched competitor's special offer. I also took the 12 month 0% financing (always have the Home Depot credit card for these types of purchases). I didn't have my credit card in my possession but he was patient and took the time to look-up my account. The checkout process also automatically checks residence to allow sales tax adjustment since my residence is on a lower tax rate that where the Palatine store is. All in all, a very easy transaction and pleasant experience.

Needed to ask for help in plumbing Dept. When employee showed up (Tony in Plumbing ) he was extremely helpful.

All the Associates are friendly and helpful from the Greeters when I entered the store to the person who helped me find the specific drill I was looking for, to the person at the Customer Service desk who I purchased it from.

Lots of really nice employees, lots of staff eager to assist. Easy, friendly return policy - even without a receipt if you made the purchase with a credit card.That's awesome.

Has a good size range of packing boxes (small, medium, large, extra large, heavy duty) in aisle one. Assistance was readily available (Bob) for selecting a new garbage disposal. This store is kept very clean and staff is very helpful.
