Purchased flooring at Portland on Tuesday. Found same flooring the next day in South Portland for less. Portland store wouldn’t honor South Portlands price costing me @$120. Before you buy here, check other local stores.

So good to see quality brands that you know you can trust. American brands. The multi-driver can handle a variety of jobs. I use it with Heavy Duty Arrow Staples primarily. Can't wait for a chance to use it for other projects like cabling.

Cashier became visibility agitated and aggressive that I was paying cash and was annoyed to be working. Slamming the drawer on the cash register and handed cash back in a mess with coins on top sliding everywhere. Avoid this store at all costs low quality employees and absent management to train.

We’ve done a massive paint job and found the employees at this store to be incredible! Kind and patient and helpful! Absolutely will be back! Special thanks to Doc and John at the paint section.

With the upcoming second Nor'easter I went to HD to get a Generator. Decent supply left, but the sales associate shared the most useful information.

The store is fine, the staff is great. However, this particular location is extremely windy and the loading dock is not accessible by its patrons unless you are being loaded by equipment. It’s very dangerous to be trying to load plywood out in the middle of the parking lot with the wind blowing, which it often is over there.

I have been shopping in this store for a long time and have watched it go through many changes. In the past couple years I have to say every time I go in I'm greeted and there is always someone there to ask me if I have any questions or need help. I really appreciate being treated with kindness and respect, everyone in this store does just that! George and Barbara are both great people and very helpful. Keep up the great work Portland Home Depot!!

I have been shopping at the Portland, Maine location ever since I have been a homeowner (21 years) and this shopping experience was a great one. The experience was topped off by Randy in the Lumber Department who not only assisted me in loading product onto my cart, but also took the time to provide recommendations on other products that maybe needed with the project I was working on. Randy also assisted in taking one of the carts I had to checkout and while I was in the parking lot attempting to load product into my vehicle, Randy assisted me with loading the product into my vehicle as the sun was setting and the weather seemed to drop 10 degrees on a cold night. Great experience topped off by all around great Customer Service!!! Thanks again Randy!!!

Lindsey went above and beyond to help make our shopping experience buying flooring wonderful! This Portland Me. location is lucky to have such a great employee!

The kitchen design area is a gem in this store. See Terry if you have questions or need advice on anything kitchen related. She helped us tremendously.

If you are looking for someone knowledgeable and time efficient, ask for George, he’s definitely one of a kind.

I just wanted to say Lindsey in Flooring is so amazing. I came in not knowing what I wanted and she helped me pick out exactly what I needed. Explained each type of flooring in detail and was able to help me nail the color I was looking for. YOU NEED MORE EMPLOYEES LIKE HER

No trouble finding the odd bulb I needed.

Bought something and was not told that if it was cut, couldn't return it. Wouldn't have bought it if I knew that! I tried to hang it today and it looked awful, so I went to return it and was told if it was cut, I couldn't return it!

The website told me ahead of time that the item that I was looking for was in stock. I also told me where it was and how many were available!

I would highly recommend this location, it is very neat and clean and everything you could want seems to be in stock! Great job!

Go see Barbosa!!! This guy stayed with me for 20-30 minutes, went over a number of different tile options to choose from, loaded and unloaded 4 different stacks of 4 boxes each onto and off my cart as we kept changing our minds, but really just provided the most outstanding help and customer service that was above and beyond. Simply amazing.

I love the garden center. On the Sunday I went to check things out the skies opened up to a steady light rain. That did not stop Jeanne (store associate) help with my purchases. She was cheerful about it all.

Help is impossible to find here on the weekends. The parking lot looks like a cart bomb exploded everywhere. The manager is not willing to help in common sense situations if they are not policy.

I bought the Milwawkee mini saw a few months ago for me to use but my husband has used it often and really like it.

I have purchased items online as well as in store and have found the quality to be very good. Would recommend. Staff, from gardening center to doors to customer service desk are committed to very good service.

Easy shopping for good selection and price range of wheel barrows, beautiful selection of plants, and all our questions were pleasantly and easily answered. The cashier was incredibly nice and helpful as well.

I had the hardest time finding a door to fit my hole but they made it happen and way less than other places I went to I learned something shop Home Depot first

Just made another successful trip to HD, one of several I make every month. Wanted to single out their cashier who helped me. I had two somewhat involved purchases, using two different credit cards. The cashier was super helpful in helping me organize my purchases. She helped me enter my military discount and reminded me to enter my Pro-ID number. I appreciated her attention to detail and making sure I got it all right.

Jeanne in the garden section was wonderfully pleasant and efficient. She made it a very pleasant errand, and after our little chat I feel like going back and getting a few more annuals to kick off garden season!
