I have painted super markets, condos and other large production jobs. I've been through a lot and seen a lot of good and bad in painting. I am a firm believer in cause/effect with people interactions. If you work with a person who is interested in what I am doing and has a degree of intelligence about the product, then I will have a notion this person can do a great job now and again and again! Today was no exception. It began by arriving at the hardware store I've used since I began paint contracting. Lately things haven't been so great getting the paint people to take an interest. Their idea now is simply to say "No." As a licensed C-33 this is another way of saying nobody is home please come again,. and stop ringing the door bell for service, we aren't doing color matching today, our machine is down and we don't feel like talking to you about your paint request. So, I left wondering what to do. As soon as I reviewed the terrific abilities of Pedro and Miguel and Renee in Paint at SPHD I was sold! I remember how great of a job they did matching paint before. I just had to travel the extra distance and present them with my formula investigation. What did these two really great guys say when I arrived> "Sure, that's no problem, we do this, we do that, it uses this formula, you have this much black, green and blue! WOW I WAS SHOCKED HOW REMARKABLY SIMPLE THEY MADE A DIFFICULT PROBLEM!!!! The method was accurate and I now have the paint I needed to paint my own house! My hat is off! I salute the paint department at San Pedro Home Depot. This is a NO NONSENSE paint department that delivers what it promises...TY

I am unfamiliar with names in paint, except Pedro, however ALL the Paint People do extremely well. Each item is where it should be. Shelves are well stocked. Service people will assist you quickly and pleasantly. Color matching my samples this mooring was just right! Thank you SPHD paint department. (State Painting lic. #734593)

Absolutely store is a great place to buy at. All the items such as plumbing supplies are never misplaced. Organized is the word to describe the way materials and parts are stored here. Happy is as happy does! Some persons had to spend a lot of time putting items where they belonged. The results are faster, easier and effective use of time. I get what I need and then go to check out. The people working here do everything possible to make it happen...Busy contractors need people like this in Customer Service. People they can depend on. People like PJ, Ben, Yolanda, Cheryl, Martin, Mike, Dave, Jason and ALL the other terrific managers get my A+ and appreciation. It's great to have a place like this I can count on for service. I SAVE TIME AND MONEY COMING TO THIS STORE!

I believe the more experienced mature employees at this store make it a terrific place to buy. They just have so much skill and experience. For example: Dave, Gene, Terresa in Plumbing, Ben and Yolanda and Dave in construction services, and great managers such as Jason, Tim and Danny; these guys rock. I think everyone should follow their fine examples. Check it out! Today Friday November 6, 2020 at 10 am. I am struggling to come up with a solution for a main valve replacement. Dave to the rescue! I am a lic. plumber. I stop in today challenging Dave in plumbing with a main line value replacement application. Dave understood immediately what the situation was and how to solve the problem. He picked out a 3/4" galvanized compression coupling...Gee wizz Dave thank you! Because the owner of the property I visit tomorrow are good friends. They count on my integrity. I am sure they could be sold an expensive main line pipe replacement. But, this recently married couple just bought their first house together. They do not have an extra several thousands of dollars to spend-they just don't!!!!!!! So Dave understood this problem. He said, "let's cut the steel pipe at a point where it's stable, attach the new couple, attach the new ball valve and 'Shazam!" you're done and good to go!...What a guy Dave!

Plumbing people such as Dave made it happen today. I respect Dave for the character he has and his ability to size up a plumbing problem then give strong applications. Dave know plumbing. ALL THE ASSOCIATES AT THIS STORE PERFORM EXCELLENT! In 10 yrs I have never once been disappointed. Great job SPHD TY.

I made a significant purchase in paint department today. But do you know what is more significant??? The employees working in this paint department. I am a painting contractor C-33, I feel this qualifies me to say how much I appreciated these Guys and Gals. What I like about paint department is this guy David, also Pedro. Others I like are the two gals in the department they are great too; I apologize for not knowing their names, but I will find out some time. Dave for example knew precisely the correct method for taping off a hardwood floor, using red rosin paper and the 2" blue tape, using the shield for the ceiling cut, and so forth and so on. In fact Dave and ALL the others in this particular department surpass my expectations every time. They have never once messed up or directed me in the wrong direction-Good mixing, well stock, really professional attitudes. Least I forget the best managers in town, Jason, Tim and Danny, what a great bunch.

I usually make my daily routine to include shopping this store. Even when I am near other home improvement stores, I consider avoiding them and take extra time to go to the San Pedro Home Depot. The guys and gals working here are terrific! Stocking shelves are down daily, and all the plumbing items I buy are in place. Customer Service is effective, courteous, and careful. Construction Services have a handle on it! They know the materials. Management is always approachable for questions or problems. It's that simple! Good Hometown feel. I really won't go to other stores if I don't have to.

BEN, YOLANDA, AND DAVE IN CONSTRUCTION SERVICES EXCEED ALL MY EXPECTATIONS IN QUALITY! I have spent tens of thousands of dollars passing through their skilled hands! Each visit is a worthwhile experience. They are effective efficient and good natured, warm and friendly. At the same time skillful. Isn't this the definition of quality people? We ALL know or other contractors such as myself should know and appreciate them, for their contributions to smooth operation. Same goes for the terrific managers. Jason, Tim and Danny make it happen. Then as expected each morning in the Plumbing Department, Terresa, Dave, and Gene tirelessly stock and restock and position supplies in the proper place. It goes with out saying, the San Pedro Home Depot is the finest example of well run, well stocked and well qualified staff of the 23 stores I use. Thank you San Pedro Home Depot. I recommend all the great people working at this store. Highly efficient atmosphere. Likely the result of great, high functioning management who strive to make each day a winner! These guys do their job and then do some more...It really shows! They generate ECEPTIONAL TEAM SPIRIT! I see the great employees such as Paul in self check, setting the example, showing us how it's done! This guy is on fire! Dave in plumbing identified the syphon break and knew immediately the 7/8" connection piece to the garbage disposal. "ONLY" and I repeat "ONLY" a highly skilled plumbing person can locate, explain the application and put the parts I need in my hand in less than 60 seconds..Dave says: This syphon break keeps disposal waste from going back into the dishwasher...wow what a guy! Dave knows plumbing. Dave spells competency by any licensed plumber like me #734593...DAVE is the Plumbers best friend at San Pedro Home Depot... Dave if you are reading this, Gene if you are reading this, and Terresa if you are reading this,,,THANK YOU FOR THE MANY YEARS YOU HAVE PUT THE CORRECT PART IN MY HANDS, GOT ME, GOT ME OUT AND GOT ME TO MY JOB, AND DID IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME! 5 GOLD STARS FOR THIS PLACE!!! I'd like to say something about Teressa, Gene, and Dave in plumbing. I use this department x1 daily. I am a licensed plumber 734593. It would be hard for me to ever think of an occasion during past five years when I ever was not assisted by them. They have proved themselves over and over again as the finest supply people I use. ALL plumbing parts consistently classified, proper places and they have never once been lazy or indifferent. They always have constructive advice. Great people! Managers such as Tim, Danny and Jason deliver top quality advice on products and service. Ben and Yolanda consistently make it happen with their most desirable quality of welcoming me in the morning!!! Mitch and Dave who do so much, always have the job at hand under control. Sarah in Electrical makes my light shine! Forgive the pone but true. This women Sarah knows as much about her thousands of products as anybody. In fact, a licensed electrician who once worked side by side with her consistently told me she is the sharpest women on the block! Martin in gardening makes it work every time. Big Ed in paint and the other staff makes the color matches just right. Cheryl is such a great cashier along with LeAnn, and Dolores, and ALL the others, in ten years using this store I have never once lost faith in these fine women! Great store, great people!!! The managers Jason and Tim make me smile. I am a busy guy too. Right now rebuilding an apartment that has been neglected for years! You can imagine the difficulties encountered in ALL plumbing fixtures, flooring, paint, electrical, and everything must be a redo! We started last week and at this time nearing completion in a day or two. I owe much of the success of course to the sub contractors. At the same time, I owe a considerable amount of praise and appreciation to these two really great guys! They made it happen with taking interest in our plans, indicating the very best products to purchase, but more than that, they are intelligent guys doing the most exceptional job possible. Very alert and focused. Intelligence is measured by production. What you can do correctly the first time and get the work out on time! Jason and Tim understand the dealings of high end income property. For example: I called in today and asked Jason for a particular type of dishwasher. Jason handled the request. He knew exactly the item I wanted. Over the phone the deal was concluded. I said I would be at the store to purchase the item in approx. 2 hrs. I received a text from Jason, indicating they had the SamSung Dishwasher model; the one the plans dictated, and in fact they will supply me with a floor model immediately. I was being sold. Floor models are fine. HD takes care of their stuff, I did not worry, I agreed. This was exceptionally good use of time for me. Consider a 2 min. phone call to Jason. I walk to the service desk; dishwasher is waiting on a cart. I turn pay the cashier. 5 mins later I am assisted in the parking lot by the really great staff out there, we load. And I am back on the road. 30 mins. later I am installing the dishwasher. Total time from my first call to Jason and my last wrench tightening the connection line and fastening the washer to the cabinet,,,,about 1 hour and 20 mins. I am now $200 richer, the customer is jubilant! I recommend all busy plumbing contractors to always shop this store and ask any questions. Great store great people. Plenty of knowlegable staff.

Incredibly competent employees at this particular store. Extremely well managed. All the items are in places where they should be and this makes for swift transitions. Plumbing department is knowledgeable and really care about the way they sell things. I am glad I live so close by to this store. Great place to shop. Great people. Clean and organized. Swift check out time. Makes you want to return again and again. Basically a trouble free store.

Have come here a couple of times.m because it’s close, but don’t think I’ll be visiting anytime soon. Purchased a rose bush. By the time I got to my truck I noticed on the receipt that the cashier had double charged me. I went back to the cashier with all my items. Showed her the receipt and she apologized and directed me to go to customer service. I go to customer service and they had a line. Waited and finally spoke to someone else who was able to refund the money that had been double charged. Since the error was the employees it would be best to have them fix the issue they caused without having a customer walk all over their store trying to get money owed to them resulting from their error.

I have a great recommendation for the managers working here! For example: Today I arrived with my customer, who BTW has a special needs son. The family is not wealthy Jason the manager stopped his activity for a moment to size up the situation. He asked me about a high flush toilet and how I was installing it, and what product does he feel is in their best interest. This guy Jason the manager made a special effort to be kind, polite, and friendly to my customer. He made this man feel good about buying at the Home Depot San Pedro. When I spoke to my customer later on he remarked how much he felt like people at this store cared, cared about the folks in the community. I agreed this San Pedro Home Depot is about as good as it gets! TY

I have had great experiences at this store! The store is always clean and well stocked, and the employees I have encountered are always helpful and friendly! Even during COVID-19, I have been able to find critical items here that have been out of stock in other areas for months! Cashier NICOLE is a GEM! :-)

I recommend the exceptionally skilled plumbing department staff. Gene, Dave, and Theresa have skills and application knowledge as good as most full time plumbers working in the field have. Likely they have spent years working in plumbing before coming to HD. Fore sure they have done the work I do daily, and have made thousands of connections, planned installation and have spent thousands of hours turning wrenches and cutting pipe. I know this when I speak with them, because they impress me with advice on the UPC or tool application or material applications. I always come out a winner after listening to Gene, Dave, or Teresa. I always come out a winner when management solves my difficult challenges on returns. Finally, Ben and Yolanda, Dave in Construction Service know how to make winners! Bought green board and Dave in lumber helped load the cart with out asking. Great guy, effective communicator. Management is very good at this store. If you have a problem they will focus on a solution. I like the people working here and store is clean and organized. A good place to buy materials.

The customer service and sales were very helpful and professional. The young lady who assisted me “Maria” did an exceptional job at helping me out. Very satisfied with my visit at the San Pedro Home Depot. Keep up the good work.

Store always has fresh garden materials and parts I need for plumbing contracting are always available. What is great is the service. Nicole and Cheryl really assisted me today, getting me in and out quickly. Paul helped me the day before, and same thing! Never ever doing a bad job! Good store good people, works for me every time! Every time! I like the people working here very much. They are interested in the customers. Today I received a smile, Hi and how are you? Did you find what you needed? They have the smarts to communicate effectively and I think that's what counts most! They were alert! Quick to check me out. Friendly by far better than 90% of the store I visit. Self check is especially positive, with this guy Paul. He got me in and out in seconds. As a busy contractor, I appreciated this guy Paul because he focuses on what needs to be done. ALL the really great people at San Pedro Home Depot make a composite effort to make the shopping experience fast and effective. I sure appreciate them, I really do, it is and excellently staffed store.

Electrical department has an exceptional sales person named Sarah. She was on point with the ceiling fan application; same as the eclectrical supply store I shop. She asked important questions such as: Fan height, power, blade length, and quality. Sarah understood what the application was, and how important it is to locate the correct product. Sarah is a person who does not generalize when your needs are at stake! She made the difference in making my job highly professional vs just so-so. Sarah thank you very much! The clients at the Woman's Domestic Violence Shelter appreciated the new fan!
