Lazy service center staffing. Went to get two propane tanks swapped out. Went to the service counter with 5-6 employees and no customers. I was sent to cashiers for purchase. No big deal. Went to tank trade kiosk outside and it failed, opened a gate for an empty/dirty tank. Pressed the "request assistance" button on kiosk. No one came.....ever. Went inside to ask service people to send out someone to help.. "You have to back to the cashiers". Again 5+ standing there, with no customers. Back to the cashier I made the purchase with. Told him I was told to come back to him. He even looked confused. He was great and got hold of someone on the walkie talkie to come help. The person who came out was great as well. Service center staff.... FAIL. Since there was someone in a different colored shirt, I suspect they were some level of management. FAIL. Why couldn't one of them pick up a walkie talkie.....FAIL

Ernie in appliances was an excellent sales person. Very patient. Did not rush us ,extremely knowledgeable with refrigerator! 100%

AJ in appliances is definitely an essential part of this store. He has answers but also follows through if he does not have the answers.

This store has an oppourtunity to turn a negative situation into a positive one. I am unhappy because the store made a simple mistake but rather than own it they chose to blame it on the customer. I was yelled at by the floor manager and left with no choice but to take a refund for an item I truely wanted. That said a phone call from a real manager trained in customer service or a Dm would go a long way in changing this review to a positive one.

As a veteran of Vietnam conflict..I was denied my military discount even though I had proper id.

Everytime I go to the Somersworth Home Depot, they are well staffed and they are always willing to help.

I find it very time consuming and aggravating when I have to find something and have no idea where it is. The staff at Home Depot are always around to ask and usually will bring me right to it! They take pity on the old lady:). Very helpful!!!

Love that HD has self checkout available, definitely get customers in and out quickly!

Bad customer service and inexperience staff with no building knowledge. Online Pick Today at store is false promises. So greeting of customers and no smile.

In difficult times I ran into Sean and he was happy staff member, he offered assistance and went way above and beyond his job to make my experience a good one!

Somersworth store Manger would not honor pricing from Portsmouth store. Acted like she was busy and I was trying to scam them. I came in with a copy of the ad and actually the Portsmouth price came up on my phone while I was there discussing it with the assistant manager. Exact same product. Tried to make me feel better by dropping their price to the regular price from the Portsmouth store. Only reason I completed the purchase was I needed the water heater, liked the product and could not wait. Portsmouth would have gotten one for me. The Assistant Manager and staff were helpful. The Manager could take lessons from the staff.

I love the home depot & this store. Large selections, friendly staff, always neat & clean & organized. If the product or tool is in stock you can bet it is on the shelf. Very helpful & knowledgeable staff.

This is the best run Home Depot I have been in in awhile, educated employees, and friendly.

Kevin helped me pick out the perfect lightbulbs I was looking for. I was so impressed by his service that I had asked to speak to a store manager and I could tell that it was not the first time the manager has heard of this high level of service from Kevin. A truly fantastic customer experience!

Wanted the 70 piece ryobi accessory bit set, it was not in stock. The store associate gave me another bit set and other accessories at about the same price. He was very acomodating.

Scott and Raymond in tool rental were wonderful! So friendly and helpful. Scott showed us how to use the drywall lift all the way from set up to tear down AND checked out our "regular" store purchases as well. So very helpful when we have our two little boys with us. Raymond also took the time and effort to find some of the past kids' workshop kits for our boys to take home and put together. He even gave us two of each so they wouldn't fight. Thoughtful and kind. Thank you!
