I found the products I wanted but had problems at check out and am now being charged twice for 1 transaction. The cashier wasn't paying attention and didn't listen to me- and now I have 2 pending charges for the same amount on my credit card.

I shop at Winter Park Home Depot almost everyday. When leaving, even though the self-checkout (aka Robot Lanes) are free or short, I still go for the longer lined and limited cashier lanes (aka Human Lanes). Why? for human interaction. For the cashier that says "have a great day" and really means it. Not like the robot lanes that say "thank you for shopping at Home Depot" who is programmed. Geez, like the metal box really means it. What happened to traditional "Customer Service"? In the survey, first before this review page, basically asked how satisfied am I with the staff interaction? Unfortunately, most of the floor staff and the staff running around outside are just as robotic. The Customer Service Counter, staffed by humans, are always busy but nice and polite as they are focused on returns, understandable. But the most important part of a retail store, I feel, is the attention and interaction given when all the shopping is done. I make every attempt to avoid the "Robot Lanes", no love there, and I go for a human. And if there's a choice of humans, Carla is my first choice of a human cashier. After a bla bla shopping experience, going to Carla brightens up my mornings and lifts me back up making me feel better about going to Home Depot. Always smiling, even behind the mask, she gives a heartfelt greeting. She expresses compassion and listens intently as she scans items. Yes, each day it's only a few minutes of interaction but she makes me feel as if someone cares. She is truly the most kind and caring cashier I have ever experienced. Home Depot should program their robots just like her. Thank you Carla for making and keeping Winter Park Home Depot my home for business.

I have numerous Home Depots around where I live and work however I drive out of my way to this store because of the customer service I receive. Curtis is simply amazing.

Deborah in doors is an asset to the company. She's friendly and extremely helpful! She ensured I was satisfied with my purchase. She went the extra mile or two to show me all my options. I appreciated her time and kindness.

Everyone is always so nice and friendly. I just recently purchased a house in Maitland and I've been in this store practically everyday for the past two weeks. I always find the products I'm looking for, if not, I ask someone, or use my Home Depot app. The store is always clean and organized. I've gotten to know several employees and they are always friendly and willing to help me! Tonika was the first to help me at the register and get me my 1st Home Depot credit card for my new home improvements! Tom, Yanelis, and Jeffrey are awesome in paint! Amir and Brett in plumbing are always ready to help. Cameron and Joe are ready to help in hardware. Debra was a huge help with getting me information for my garage door opener installation, light bulbs for the opener, and answering several random questions about household items. Kimberly on register helped me with discounts/promotional items with my Home Depot credit card and checking out my items. Thank you store #6349, you've made me a happy 1st time homeowner! I appreciate all you do! I will see you again soon!

What is going on in that store? One register open and lines of people waiting, lately is always like that, want our business? then fix it

I have looked all over for the right kitchen cabinets that I needed and they had them all and I had to look no more, the staff was great from entering the store to exiting

Overall this location has been on a very obvious decline for several months, all the 2021 calendar year included and shortly before. Optimistic in the coming months (post pandemic) that there will be a much needed change of pace at this location. A huge turnaround in this stores overall performance, staff improvement, and daily operating procedures will be needed for this to successfully take place. Current Specific discouragements: Any Pros or significant purchasing customers seeking outdoor garden essentials - temporarily I would discourage this location for the sake of your overall shopping convenience. And would encourage those specific individuals to satisfy their needs at any of the neighboring Home Depots such as the Casselberry or Fern Creek/ Altamonte locations. Check back in the coming weeks for up to date reviews, stating otherwise!

Always someone to help you and point you in the right direction. I do mosaic art and have received great help and different ideas from the employees when discussing my projects with them.

What is going on in that store, everything seems to be changing for bad, why is one of the most knowledgeable cashiers you have is no longer on her post? I have been at your store 4 times this week and there is no cashier at that register or the people working on it are slow, and don't know what they're doing, whomever is in charge really don't know what's best for contractors like me

Most employees, especially the women, were very friendly and go out of their way to assist you when you have questions and/or find someone who can help you.

Great service from the young cashiers in the garden center... always sweet and happy. Males the paying part of shopping less painful.. Love the garden center. Have a great variety of plants tho they are lacking in hanging baskets to fill up with plants... Nice selection of garden items tools accessories pavers stones etc..

I had an amazing experience at the Winter Park Home Depot. Griz (Steven) educated me on the products I would need to drill into concrete and made sure I was able to properly affix a drill bit in my drill to avoid injury. I did not feel rushed and Griz was very kind and patient with me. I am very grateful for all of his help.

I have mixed feelings about this store. My recent experience was handled very well by a customer service rep, but there were a series of issues with curbside delivery changing part of my order to delivery and then delivering to an old address I havent lived at in 15 years. I had to repurchase in person, which by the way, the product was on the shelf and should have never been shipped. Then, while I had a plumber waiting, I discovered the new box was an old return and missing parts. I was livid but Natalie at the customer service desk was excellent and satisfactorily remedied the situation. She is top-notch and went above and beyond!! Also, please please please staff up the paint department! I have been purchasing a lot of paint lately and making lots of trips. Nearly every time there is a large group of frustrated customers waiting forever and 1, ONE, dude moving at a snails pace. There is only 1 guy that actually has a modicum of customer service skills or focus (tall, blondish, very nice). Nothing to write a review about, but at least he recognizes he is in a service role. The other 3-4 people just don't care at all and have no hustle whatsoever. One lady went on break and left 1 person there with 4-5 frustrated customers. Also some retraining on the computer and how to replace register tape would be helpful. They seem to struggle with this regularly. At least 2-3 of the 7 times I have visited lately this has caused an even worse backup. Also, when you put paint on the counter for pickup, at least make eye contact or tell the customer that their paint is ready. Customers are having to guess and pick up everyone else's paint cans to figure out if that is their order that is finally ready. After waiting for 10 minutes for your paint to be mixed, it gets a little confusing who's order is up. I also have noticed that they don't keep the sequence of the line either. People that come in before me, get their paint after me sometimes and I know the customers notice and are not happy about it.

I want to thank the entire customer service team first. especially to Mrs. Pamela who with a smile looked for a solution to the problem she had with a bathtub that she had bought and it was not the right side ... I can only say thank you excellent service I will definitely return and thank you for being so special
