The Ultimate Gifts for the DIYer in Your Life
The holiday season is finally here, and there’s a special category of person in your life who deserves a special type of gift selection: The DIYer! They spend countless hours perfecting their projects, nights in front of the computer going from YouTube tutorial to YouTube tutorial, and many back and forth trips to The Home Depot. All to make the people in their lives and themselves happy. Well, let’s show our DIYers some love this holiday season with some amazing gifts from The Home Depot! Read on to see a few things that I got for my DIYer hubby Jasen (I’ll probably be using one or two myself ha), and that you should definitely get for that DIYer in your life as well!

Now, these first two gifts will have your DIYer absolutely swooning. First is this Gorilla Ladders work platform. You may be thinking, isn’t that the same as a step stool? Nope! You’d be so surprised how much they will appreciate being able to walk from side to side as they work on projects that are up high. Constantly getting up and down from a ladder can get annoying after a while. So the next time they are installing curtains, painting a wall, or putting up molding they will think of you and be grateful!

Next up is this timeless Husky Blue Tool Chest Combo. I’m sure you know by now that us DIYers love great tools for our projects. We collect a bunch over the years, then one day look up and realize our room is filled to the brim with tools! This tool chest comes to the rescue and provides great storage with drawers of various sizes, an integrated power strip with 2 USB ports for charging batteries, wheels to easily move it from place to place, and so much more. Not to mention it just looks beautiful!

I also love the tool chest because it’s the holiday gift that keeps on giving. Put the icing on the cake for your DIYer by placing additional gifts in the drawers. I added things like this Bosch Laser Distance Tape Measuring Tool, Bosch 30ft Red Laser Level, and this Husky Headlamp for those times when they need a little light to get the job done. They’re going to love it!

I know we all enjoy the tradition of unwrapping a gift, and trust me I love it too. But that feeling of eagerness and mystery can be met in different ways. So, here are some gift wrapping alternatives:
- Instead of wrapping your gifts or buying a gift bag, putting them in a The Home Depot Homer Bucket can be a really clever alternative. You’ll probably be spending the equivalent or less for the bucket as you would for a bag, and the bucket presentation just says “I put some thought into this.” Plus, the bucket can be reused for a multitude of DIY purposes!

- ‘Tis the holiday season, so of course having a classic wreath in your home is a must. But wait…what if you got a little creative and used a wreath to present your gifts? Think of it as an alternative to a stocking! I “stuffed” my wreath with a few different gifts:
- A screwdriver set, because a DIYer can never have too many.
- I can’t get over these keychain tape measures. Besides being adorable, they are essential for a DIYer to keep with them because you never know when you’ll need to measure something. Keep one in your car, one on your keychain, and one in the kitchen.
- Of course you can’t forget paint brushes. DIYing involves lots of painting, and the right brush will go a long way.

You can hang each gift item from the wreath’s needles using this wire, and of course make sure to add some decorative ornaments of your choice.
With all of these different options you are going to make that DIYer in your life truly appreciative this holiday season. Be prepared for some awesome projects to be underway! Happy shopping!
