If you are in need of new appliances, make sure to stop by Home Depot and ask for Fredericka! She is a true gem and an asset to this store. She listens, is knowledgeable, helpful, and will work with you to get you what you want.

Had home depots professional contractor come out to look at our doors and order materials to install two new doors. The process took over a month to just get everything ordered. Ended up canceling the contractor because he wanted over a thousand dollars just for the installation. Worker said the contractor has to charge that much because Home Depot takes a cut from it. Found out I had to wait so long because the worker went on vacation so we had to remain in limbo until they came back so they could get the sale. After installing the doors ourselves, along with a family friend contractor, we realized things had been ordered by Home Depot’s contractor that aren’t even necessary for our project and we still had to go buy additional supplies. Home Depot’s contractor resides in Houston so you have to wait on that too. Doors were good quality though.

You'll get no help in lumber! Especially loading assistance in that area, you have to beg! Most of the time the cashiers are talking on their phones while checking your merchandise out. I love shopping the garden center. Great selection of plants and landscaping materials. The Mexican guy in garden center is the best associate in the store! He's always gone above and beyond helping me every time I shop garden center.

Bought a push mower great price. Very helpful people that works at Home Depot in Alexandria louisiana.

I enjoy shopping at Home Depot because the workers are always willing to help when necessary. At some other stores the workers seem to run or hide if they think you might need help.

I'll never understand today's work ethic... Nearly impossible for pros to get help away from pro desk, even when customer service has the ability and equipment to help, they refuse to by saying "you will have to go to the pro desk" even when noone is there!

I will definitely be back my experience at home depot is amazing Ms. Frederica was absolutely without a doubt the best you know she likes her job because from start to finish with helping me she put in 100% to make sure we were happy and she wasn't trying to rush and get us out the door in a hurry. She actually cares about her customers so thank you I will be back.

They had everything I went for and I picked up some real good deals. Their employees were awesome and very helpful.

Helpful people and they know what they are doing. I went from one end of the store to the other. Shopping as I’m redoing a house. I love this store because the people I have encountered want to help and make sure things are right. Thank you Ms Joy, Mr Dennis, the lady in the paint department that knew exactly where everything was down to the row not just aisle, section but the row! Most important is I was greeted in every section with may I help you. I shopped sections such as lumber, tools, paint, kitchen appliances, moldings, pvc bead board, lightbulbs, and yes even tool boxes. And I have shopped others stores in Louisiana and I must say, not all are as helpful or knowledgeable of their products or even how items are used. You don’t have people says it’s located down isle such and such. No each one took me to the location and showed me the item(s). Ms Joy happened to be checking me out and was quite beneficial in discussion of how to get an item home as it was too big for my car. Even to point of possibility of delivery vs renting a trailer. They you everyone!!!!

This is a great store. They go above and beyond to help if you need it, and even if you don’t you will usually be greeted and can always find a smiling face.

Ms. Teresa helped me so much! Not only is she friendly, she helped me correctly return appliances that didn’t fit in my space & helped me find appliances that works for my space.

Every time I go in the store everyone is so friendly and helpful

I arrived at 6 AM on Black Friday, greeted with several smiling faces and the choice of coffee or hot chocolate. I fully expected to hear some of the employees complaining about having to be up so early and working the busiest shopping day of the year. I was pleasantly surprised with Friendly, knowledgeable associates, who seemed eager to assist me. I will certainly shop there again.

We found the several associates that were willing and able to help even when it was not in their department area. In the Kitchen area, we had to wait as there was only one person that handled that area but someone tried to help and just was not aware of a few things as she was new. She had some unplanned training that she thanked the person that took over after explaining how it needed done. Very happy with the service we received.

Krystal in the Alexandria store was very knowledgeable and exhibited the best customer service ever!!! I appreciate her kindness and knowledge of the flooring we purchased. Keep up the great work!!!!

Joy at the Pro Desk is awesome and knowledgeable

Very clean and tidy store. The associates are always polite and courteous, ready and willing to assist! Inventory is well rounded and typically has what we need barrels NF any specialty type items.

Some of the paint was mixed while others were not

I went there knowing what I wanted to do but not sure what I needed I left with what I needed as the associate put it all together for me.

Clerks were fast, courteous, and helpful in assisting me finding what I needed.

I always buy from Home Depot, they the one of the most affordable easy to shop places around for everything I may need!

I just ordered an item in-store and was very pleased with the efficiency and assistance of the service clerk. She was very polite, kind and efficient. Will do more business with Home Depot in the near future. We need more service-oriented people like her.

I visited the Alexandria,La store on 4/5/24 to purchase a washing machine. I was greeted by an employee by the name of Deborah. She was very helpful and knowledgeable and courteous. What all employees should strive to be like in my opinion. I would like to thank her and everyone know about her and her great attitude and professionalism. She is all Aces in my book.

Buying items for our church clean up day. I love that I can find awesome cleaning supplies and everything needed for those little touch up jobs in one store.

Don't expect to be helped at all because no one ask if they can help you and when paged n one shows up and when you finally get a person to help you they are so rude that if I could have bought the tool I needed anywhere else I would have left and did so. She was so rude and loud to even the custers around me were embarrassed of how she acted towards me..
