Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting rechargeable batteries, plastic plant pots, CFLs, and lead acid batteries for recycling.
This store recycles all shrink wrap, contributing to the 780 million pounds that The Home Depot has sold to Trex in the past. This is used to manufacture composite decking materials, bringing us one step closer to a circular economy.
We have decreased electricity consumption by over 52% in our U.S. stores since 2010.
The Home Depot's core values are based on doing the right thing for our associates and customers, and this commitment extends beyond our stores to our communities, as well as the environment. We are your partners in environmental sustainability. Read more about our commitment to economic responsibility.

Do you have small moving boxes?
Make moving or storage easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it there safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.
Do I need a generator?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether you're dealing with strong winds, blizzards, or severe thunderstorms, a portable generator lets you enjoy power when the elements knock it out. When considering different generators for sale, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows.
How can I prepare my home for spring temperature changes?
Ready your home for spring temperature swings by replacing any broken or faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. If water freezes in the crevices, you could be in for a real headache. On the outside of your home, examine metal roofing panels or shingles for rust or damage that could let water leak in. Clean gutters to prevent ice dams if you're prone to frozen precip as the seasons change. Check cinder block and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. Lastly, change out chimney caps and vinyl siding if they're damaged.
Why should I get a doorbell camera?
Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through an adjacent window or peephole when you can see visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, which is useful to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed and worry less with more control.
