Unbelievable experience, had to take several days off to finally get this delivered, arrived dented and they put multiple additional dents in it during delivery - not to mention scratches up the entire stairway walls and a gouged banister. Why didn’t they take the doors off to move it? Awaiting customer support response. Really pretty awful all around.

If I find what I'm looking for without needing to find someone to ask it's a good trip.

I completely understand that they are under staffed. Everyone is under staffed. All of these box stores need to streamline. Select staff whose ONLY job it is to get things located and paid out FAST! When I ask an associate where something is and they reach for their phone, my confidence in the associate and the store is simply destroyed. I can look on my phone, I asked them because I thought they would be knowledgeable about the store they spend 40 hours a week in. If I am having to teach THEM about the products and location of items, why have associates at all? I know that is the end game, no associates…. But that will be a sad day. We are already doing all our own checking out…. Also, two special orders I have been waiting three months for apparently came in and I was never notified. One was so buried in overstock that they could not get it pulled out. The inability to track and notify on freight delivery is baffling. And lastly, STOP LOADING ALL THE CARTS WITH STUFF PEOPLE ARE NOT BUYING! I hate it when I am in lumber, ready to spend money and I have to UNLOAD a cart that is loaded with material that is unlabeled, apparently unpaid and just sitting blocking the isle! You need carts for the people actually shopping in the store to use! Stop loading and blocking all the isles!

Purchase products but always have difficulty finding someone to help

It’s a good feeling when you walk into a store and you immediately see familiar, smiling faces and they greet you by name. That’s how it is for me and most of the guys that I know that shop here regularly. You’ve got a good core group of people here it would be nice if some of your associates would engage instead of ignore, but it doesn’t happen that often, and I can usually tell that it’s somebody that’s pretty new Anyway, overall, I enjoy shopping here. It’s always my first stop and usually my last. I don’t give up emails to anyone. KP.

For items that show they aren’t available in Alaska, ask their customer service about their ship to Alaska program. Chances are they will pleasantly surprise you with a little known option to get it via their normal shipments coming from Tacoma to Anchorage.

I want to express my sincere gratitude to the expediter, "Laura", who was able to track down and successfully ship a difficult tile order from out of state. I appreciated her work and follow-up updating on the status of the order to see it through to completion.

Worst Home Depot experience I have ever had. Would not recommend using this store.

Service with a smile is what we received when Gab came to assist us with pulling lumber and making cuts for us. He had such a helpful attitude and I can't remember the last time we have had such great service. I was pushing the grandbabies so he brought the cart with all the wood all the way to the counter. Made my day.

I went into HD after trying locally owned stores specializing in flooring. Super pleasantly surprised by the professionalism, EXPERT advice, kindness, focus, speed, and attitude of the Flooring specialist I worked with, Ed, and the forklift driver, Gabe. These guys were awesome! I put my floors in without a hitch on the same day I stopped by just to check them out. My 1950s house feels like a new space, and the flooring product (Lifeproof 22 mm Vinyl Plank ) is very scratch resistant, easy to install, and clean.

The products here are great price compared to other places. Thank you!

I learned Honda, and Milwaukee tools are very popular because they are rarely making changes. Ironically having shopped at this store for 30 years I appreciate the layout of the departments have stayed in a consistent location and isle space and floors more open then other HD stores. I can shoot down isles fast to get items when I am pressed for time.

This is my favorite location other than the rude older gentlemen at the customer service. who acts like I'm wasting his time when I'm there.

I generally do a lot of different projects and have found the items I need are available at this location. They keep on top of special-order items and have found them to arrive on time and in good condition.

Employees lacked willingness & preferred to stand around & not be bothered.

This HD store apparently has a skeleton crew at all times. You must literally chase down employees to get help. One major appliance salesman refused to wait on me after a long wait where I had to keep coming back. I had to slip a note under his nose to call me when he had time to talk to me. He passed the note to someone else and I finally got to talk to someone to order major appliances. Delivery was supposed to be from 8am-8pm so I stayed home all day. Kept getting updates that pushed my delivery later and later. Then I was told that I would not get my delivery that day! It was rescheduled and when they arrived they told me that they would not take the old appliance! I had not been told that they would not take the old appliance, only that they wouldn’t hook up the new one. I was lied to in an email that they didn’t deliver because someone over 18 wasn’t home! The real reason was that there had been a problem with the truck or an injury. Then, a week later, delivery showed up at my door with a refrigerator that had already been delivered! Gee, if I was dishonest, I could have had another one for free! Calling this store for anything is an automatic 10-15 minute wait. It’s just faster to drive there and wait. There is only one employee here that’s worth the wait because he’s so knowledgeable and friendly. He’s tall with long hair. A recent trainee who handled paperwork for my purchase couldn’t spell delivery or haul and had to have assistance with spelling. Honestly, I can’t make this crap up, it happens.

It’s our go to store for most things, and this store usually has good supplies.

When I shop and ask for advise or can’t find an item readily, I really appreciate when I can interact with employees without being made to feel like the novice that I am. Go see Ed in the flooring department of the Anchorage, AK Tudor branch. He will provide service with some banter thrown in.

We were purchasing flooring for our home, Ed with the Flooring section at the Tudor location was so helpful. He was quick and precise we were in and out within 30 minutes. Such an easy process.

The lady running the self-checkout is incredibly rude at Tuder Home Depot. I'd strongly recommend Abbot Home Depot.

Betty in kitchen design helped me design a lovely kitchen for a fraction of the builder’s price with better materials.

I visited Home Depot in midtown Anchorage after checking all the other Home Depot stores within 100 miles. This store had plenty of stock for the items I selected, had three people help me complete my order and got my stuff loaded in my truck so I didn't have to touch anything. They even bundled and wrapped my order to protect it from the weather. Great experience and now I have all the product I need to complete my job.

I was walked through throughly through out the doors and windows isle for my installment needs and Becs answered all my questions very firmly and correct and she was very sweet and kind she went above and beyond to help!
