Went to the store to do a return, get potting soil and find a curtain rod. I remembered I also needed a window fan. Additionally, we found the exact simple plant we had been looking for to put in a new outdoor urn. There was a great selection of plants - annuals and perennials for improving my flower beds. We also purchased a window fan for our small home and are really happy with it!

We were looking for a few items for the patio and found everyhitng we needed.

I have been shopping at the East Asheville Home Depot for over 21 years. The staff is always helpful. They know the products and are well versed in home improvement.

I shop this store often because I always receive excellent customer service from any and all department I go to. Every employee knows where items are and that is always something I can count on when looking for a particular item. The store is always neat, clean and well stocked.

On a recent trip to the Asheville, Home Depot, my wife and I had a very pleasant experience. We were greeted upon entering the store and in each department a helpful person came up with a big smile offering assistance. Throughout the experience, pleasant people were there to guide us as we went about our business. We will certainly go back to the store and would recommend it to our friends.

I needed help cutting 2 4x8 sheets of plywood and loading them into my car -- a very tight squeeze. Two men in the lumber area took the ply off the pile and ripped it for me. Another man who was collecting carts in the lot helped me load. ALL the help was really needed and appreciated!

Only go here when I have to because they rarely have cashier's,

The main aisle was clogged with stuff that made it difficult for customers to get by with carts, never mind, trying to purchase something in that aisle. (Light bulb aisle). Mid April, long line at Garden Center checkout with one employee working. The store is darkly lit, and obviously a favorite for shoplifters since everything is locked up now. Do you remember when every aisle had a specialist employee at the Home Depot? I do. Those days are gone, along with the merchandise that they were protecting.

Did not turn out well. The carpenter/installer was only knowledgeable person. Yay for Joe!

I went to buy a quart of 30 weight oil. I was lucky, there was only one left. An associate looked up on her phone to told me where to find it.

RC in the flooring and window coverings department is a gem. He was so knowledgeable about all of the products and gave exceptional customer service.

We go to this store several times a week. All the staff and managers are always friendly and helpful. Also this is our dog’s favorite place!

I think the stock here is a bit less than some other stores, but still a solid store. Floor assistance is a bit underwhelming but it gets the job done.

Have not gotten the new microwave yet, so can’t comment on the product, but can say the customer service could not have been better or more knowledgeable or more professional. Thanks for making a long process (filing a warranty claim and getting a new microwave different than the last one with a convenient delivery date) less difficult. We will come back to Home Depot because of the customer service. You can find appliances in a lot of places. Not so much with great customer service.

I wish all retail staff in our community could undergo the friendliness training of the Home Depot on Fairview Road. They are Rock Stars of customer service.

Do your homework before going for anything major or not common everyday items. For laborers only being paid $10-$12 an hour you shouldn’t expect knowledgable people familiar with the hardware business. Not picking on this store in particular because it pretty much this way in any retail business anymore. You get what you pay for HD.

I had a terrible experience with LJ

My local Home Depot has been great with assistance and needed supplies after Helene. Thanks to everyone who has gone over and beyond to support victims of the storm.

Jennifer was so helpful in our purchase. She helped us with the whole entire order and make us feel like she was doing the job with us! Just so kind, patient and has made me a super fan of Home Depot BECAUSE of her!! Thank you, Jennifer for being so wonderful!!

This was the best experience that I have ever had in a hardware store. I had to detour around to get there because of the Helene disaster and arrived late evening. I was anxious because I was afraid that I would not be able to get the custom paint that I needed for a complicated job that I wanted to do the next day. I was covering a badly stained concrete floor in a sunroom. Carla helped me find the perfect custom color of BEAR premium porch and patio floor paint. She even helped me select the proper supplies that I needed to do the job. Carla was reassuring, cordial and professional. Words cannot express my appreciation of Carla!

We asked three employees to page someone to help us in the insulation. They did not. We explained to the lady at the contractor checkout. She immediately told a man just standing there talking to another employee on a forklift. The man complained that it was time for his break.but reluctantly went with us. He then acted very unknowledgeable about insulation to the point of telling me he had never heard of the moisture barrier. I obviously knew more than he was pretending to know and wished him a nice “break”. He said he would enjoy it and walked away.

I was pleased how there were strong inventories and personal to handle storm related needs. My property was flooded and severly damaged and having HD as a ready source for materials has been greatly appreciated.

The Asheville area has been hit by a tremendous hurricane and Home Depot opened their doors as soon as possible to help the area. They have brought in additional materials and merchandise and additional employees from other stores to assist. They even provided food for the the public and employees and security to make sure everyone was safe and respectful. This store went out of its way to help the Asheville residents. Excellent employees and staff!!!

I called to purchase this heater for someone who desperately needed it cuz they were flooded out, the people in that store we're very receptive to my idea, considering I live in northeast Pennsylvania. I was in the flood of '72 & my family was spared, but I had family members and friends from school who were not so lucky, they lost everything and watching those people struggle cemented my plan when I see someone in dire need I will be the first to step up and help.

Nice employees, especially Brandon W. Who went well and beyond what he needed to to make sure I had everything in order. He is terrific!

Great tools I buy years around

They would not cut the composite wood that I bought there, which was 16 feet long. It made it hard to get Home. Had to buy a hand saw and cut it manually there. A lot of trouble and time for me.
