The Home Depot Rental Center at Bend

Take on any new DIY project with the right tools — even if you don't currently own them. Rent power tools, use them, and return them when you're done. You're free to complete your project without cluttering up workshop storage with tools you only reach for every so often.

Tool and Equipment Rental
Using The Home Depot Bend Tool Rental Center lets you do larger DIY projects. Break free of the limits of old tools and rent up-to-date tools made to suit your projects. Rent the tools to finish your project safely. If your local store doesn't have the needed tool in stock, it could be available at another store within driving distance.

Tame the Greenery and Lawn Early
Greet the spring with outdoor power equipment rentals and whip the yard into shape again. Neaten around the garden and bushes with rental lawn mowers and hedge trimmers, and get that sidewalk clean again with a pressure washer rental. Your outdoor oasis will be ready for new spring flowers in no time.

Add Insulation When the Weather is Cooler
For a more energy-efficient home, upgrade your insulation in the spring, if possible — before it gets dangerously hot in your attic. Rent equipment made for insulation to install it correctly. Choose from a cellulose insulation blower or a fiberglass blower, and insulate those nooks and crannies well. You'll enjoy steadier utility bills and a more consistent home temperature with new insulation.

Rental Trucks
To move large tool rentals or anything else, we keep cargo vans as well as Penske moving trucks on hand — with availability varying by store. We'll have the right size truck rental for your DIY project so you can keep your timeline running smoothly. As your source for storage, packing, and DIY, it's simple to make us your go-to source for moving and transport as well.

To get transportation and tools for your DIY or home improvement project, check out The Home Depot Tool and Truck Rental Center in Bend. Having the right tools for the job makes a difference. We're here to help you get that home improvement project done.

Frequently Asked Questions about Rentals

How do I rent tools or trucks?

Stop by the Rental Center at your nearest Home Depot to see which tools or trucks you can rent. If you want to be sure of what's in stock, call first to inquire about a tool or truck. You may also check out our tool and equipment rental or truck rental pages to see if what you need is offered at your store. For more info on renting tools, read these Tool Rental FAQs, which includes equipment terms and conditions.

How long can I rent tools?

You can rent a tool for four hours or more. It depends on how long you'd like to rent them. Small DIY projects may only require a rental that's a few hours long, and we can accommodate large projects as well. You've got options to rent tools by the day, week, or month, too. If you need it longer than your initial rental period, call your Rental Center to arrange an extension and avoid late fees.

When do I return the tools?

You're welcome to return the tools early if you complete your project ahead of schedule, but on-time works, too. As long as you return it by the deadline you were given when you rented it, you'll be good to go. Please clean off residual dust, mud, and grime from the tool as well. If you need them longer, give the rental center a call to see if you can extend your rental period.

Can I rent a truck for a week?

Rent a cargo van, box truck, or pickup truck for as long as you need it. For short trips, 75 minutes might be enough time. Otherwise, consider renting it by the day or the week, depending on the length of your project. Be sure to factor in the drive to and from the store, as you'll need to return it to the same store where you rented it. Penske moving truck rentals allow one-way rentals as well as round-trip options, and they have different terms. Make sure to read the contract and terms and conditions before you decide on a vehicle.

Do I need to refuel the rental truck when I'm done?

Yes, please fill up the truck before you return it. Make a note of the amount of gas in the tank when you receive the truck, and be sure to fill it with enough gas to match that same level. When you don't refill the truck, you'll have to pay a penalty known as the fuel replacement charge.

Can I rent a truck with only a driver's license?

No, you must hold a valid driver's license and be over the age of 21. Depending on your state, you might require car insurance, as well as a credit card hold or a deposit, too. Please bring your credit card for Home Depot truck rentals, as we don't accept cash. Penske moving truck rentals have different requirements.
