Tool Rental
Jump into your home improvement project with confidence and the correct tools. Let The Home Depot N Redmond Tool Rental Center fill in the gaps in your toolbox with the items you don't have at home. You can rent the tools you need and return them when you've completed the project. If it turns out the rental tools would be more useful than you thought, we have used tools available for purchase. Compared to the new items on our store shelves, they're discounted.
Add Insulation When the Weather is Cooler
To make your home more energy efficient, add another layer to your insulation in the spring, if possible — before it gets dangerously hot in the attic. Rent specialized equipment for insulation to install it correctly. Decide between a fiberglass blower or a cellulose insulation blower, and insulate those nooks and crannies properly. You'll enjoy a more consistent home temperature and steadier utility bills with new insulation.
Tame the Trees and Lawn Early
Lighten the load with outdoor power equipment rentals and whip the yard into shape again. Neaten the yard with a rental lawn mower and leaf blower, the trees and hedges with a chainsaw rental, and the sidewalks and driveway with a rental pressure washer. Your outdoor oasis will be refreshed and ready for new spring flowers in no time.
Truck Rental
To move large tool rentals or anything else, we keep cargo vans and pickup trucks ready to rent — with availability varying by store. You're sure to find the right size truck rental for your DIY project so you can keep your timeline running smoothly. As your trusted source for packing, DIY projects, and storage needs, it's smart to make us your go-to source for moving and transport as well.
To get transportation and tools for your home improvement or DIY project, check out The Home Depot Tool and Truck Rental Center in N Redmond. Renting the right tools for the job is important, so let us help. We're here to help you get that project finished.
How do I rent a truck or tool?
Stop by the Rental Center at your nearest Home Depot to see what trucks or tools you can rent. If you'd like to be sure of what's in stock, call first to inquire about a tool or truck. You could also read our tool and equipment rental or truck rental pages to see if what you need is offered at your favorite store. For more on renting tools, read these Tool Rental FAQs, including terms and conditions for the equipment.
How long can I rent tools?
You can rent a tool for four hours or more. Simply choose the length of time that suits you. Small home improvement projects may only require a rental that's a few hours long, and we can accommodate large projects as well. You've got options to rent tools by the week, month, or day, too. If you need it longer than anticipated, call your Rental Center for an extension and avoid late fees.
When do I return the tools?
You're welcome to return the tools early if you complete your project faster than planned, but on-time works, too. Just make sure to bring them back by the deadline listed on your rental paperwork. Please clean off residual dust, mud, and grime from the tool as well. If you need the tools longer, call the rental center to see if you can extend your rental period.
How long can I rent a truck?
Rent a box truck, cargo van, or flatbed truck for as long as you need it. For short trips, 75 minutes could be plenty. Otherwise, consider renting it by the week or the day, depending on how long your project is. Don't forget to factor in the drive between the store and the job site, as you'll need to return it to the same store you rented it from. Penske moving truck rentals allow round-trip options as well as one-way options, and they have different terms. Make sure to read the terms and conditions before selecting a truck.
Do I need to refill the rental truck with gas?
Yes, please fuel up the truck before you bring it back. Match the amount of gas that was in the tank when you got the rental. If you don't, you'll be hit with a penalty known as the fuel replacement charge.
Can I rent a truck with only a driver's license?
No, you must hold a valid driver's license and be 21 or older. Depending on your state, you may require car insurance, as well as a credit card hold or a deposit, too. Please bring your credit card for Home Depot truck rentals, as we don't accept cash. Penske moving truck rentals have different requirements, so read those if you plan to rent a Penske truck.
