I visited Home Depot today and met with Ernie who might I say is the best and took his time with me along with another worker. They not only help me get another mower but explained to me how to keep it over the winter season.

I was very happy with the help I received from the employee at the inside Service Desk. She made my trip to this Home Depot pleasant and efficient. I did however encounter the same unprofessional attitude from the workers in the Garden Center who were all congrerating and socializing. I had to interupt the gathering to get help loading my car.

The store is nicely clean and sales associates are great , however the cashier dct553 is extremely rude and disrespectful and told me to take my dirty items to another register that she didn't want to get dirty and gave me a smirk and a dirty look but I didn't leave the line after all I waited 15 minutes while she carried a conversation with the next cashier who was also bad mouthing the upper management.

Yvette (in appliances) not only handled my refund issue but went above and beyond with exceptional customer service. She deserves recognition for a job well done and much appreciated. I would not hesitate to seek her out in the future to assist me. She is a rock star!

This was the third Home Depot store we visited looking for an item that is supposed to be in stock according to the computer. Newington (horrible customer service) and Hartford (you want me to find what?) let me here to Bloomfield. Yvette was with a manger and another associate, listened to us and with permission of the manager, substituted a tote for the tub we wanted at the same price. We will never go to Newington or Hartford, just here in Bloomfield where customers still matter.

From immediate and efficient help finding my product to outstanding assistance at the self checkout, this was one good, quick shopping experience!

I went in with a simple request and was given all kinds of details I didn't need to know - where stock was kept, what had to be done. Staff kept passing me from one person to another, pulled in different directions. I had to keep asking questions to keep them focused, and found there were mistakes being made. Staff told me he knew what he was doing, calling me sassy when I asserted myself when I saw these mistakes. Staff was deterred from helping in a different section to take phone calls from family. Another staff started to get stock from on a high shelf and had to pause to take a phone call, after waiting for this staff for 10 minutes. I explained that I was afraid of mistakes and was told I needed to be patient. Yet, each time I asked a question, I got "Oh, yeah, you do need this/that."

The store is fine. It was pretty clean and I could find what I needed. The problem I have encountered frequently, is the employees that are working in this store. They are either not available, easily distracted, socializing or just don't know what they are doing. When it is your time they are wasting, this can be frustrating. I am sure you have lost a lot of business in this store because of the behavior of some of the staff. I have spoken with one of your employees from another store and he told me the employee problems were a known fact. I only reccomend this store because of the price value and merchandise

Store is showing signs of age, and could use some cosmetic upgrades. Appears old and rundown in comparison to Lowes (directly adjacent). But the same could be said for many HD stores; this one stands out as being particularly "tired" looking, perhaps due to its proximity to the competition.

Most Employees knew their sections well with the knowledge of home improvement projects
