I needed help in a big way. I was in over my head in lawn mowers and a very helpful employee came to my rescue. He not only knew what I needed (and not more than I needed) he even helped me get it to my car. Great store experience.

I know nothing about plumbing and the man that helped me was very friendly and courteous. He found exactly what I needed in record time. Unlike other stores where I have been told "that way" with a point in the direction of the product. This man took me right over there and made that I had the right thing. This store is very clean and organized. I would definitely recommend this store to my friends.

A nice lady sort of helped us in the light bulb section, but she didn't seem to know too much about that section, so it was the general "what we have is out here" answer from her. Eh, not the end of the world, there are so many light bulbs it would be really hard to know a lot about the stock. It wasn't until the flooring section where the customer service was really bad. We were looking around, obviously searching about, when we noticed that the employee near us wasn't consulting with a customer, but with another employee...just sitting there by the carpets. We asked for help, and they just pointed where to go and that was that. Anyways, I love the magical lamppost section and how the lights flicker on and off! And thank you for the cooler of free water bottles, it was so hot that day!

Bob in the paint department was extremely helpful in solving a paint problem in my bathroom. His vast knowledge and experience has helped me and other family members with paint issues, He is the go to person in paint, the only one I trust with paint issues. He is a asset to the department and the store.

plumbing dept was helpful as well as cashier check out. In past experiences we worked with a woman in the plumbing department, she is very knowledgeable and helpful on our many visits. she is a joy to work with.

Staff is always very helpful.....Products are easy to find...Store is very organized and clean

Good store, however, compared to stores I visited in another state, there is a significance difference in the number of items carried and selections offered; For example, the Home Depot store in Hudson, FL has a large variety of everything. On a recent visit to check out floor tile, I was amazed at the many beautiful selections. Whereas the Bristol store carries the bare minimum.

Unfortunately as I age, I can no longer do the things I use to do. Sadly, I find that I can no longer even lift a bag of asphalt. Knowing that I needed 4 bags, I went to the customer service desk to request assistance. They quickly made a call. By the time i got to the aisle, Greg was there waiting to help. He quickly loaded my carriage and we proceeded to the checkout. During that short walk, twice different employees, waived at Greg and remarked what a good guy he is. Jeanette, the cashier also noted how helpful Greg was to all. Greg then loaded my car and wished me a nice weekend knowing that I (actually my son) had work to do.

Making a return was a huge hassle, time-consuming, & not very friendly.

Very good selection of plants and gardening equipment. Patrick, a sales associate in Gardening picked up and loaded ten bags of mulch for us.

I received helpful and thorough assistance in the equipment rental department. The two associates that helped me were very friendly and knowledgeable. It was a great experience.

Beware this store tries to force you to use self checkout. Customer service at the front register is not there. All registers were closed except for self checkout and there were lines of people waiting. I had to use contractor checkout and wait behind large orders when all I had was a few items. Don't shop here if you expect to get service because that won't happen there.

I have always found this store to be organized and well stocked with the products I use. The staff is very helpful when you are searching for items you can't find and very handy when it comes to advice and use of products. Matt in lawn and gardening was very helpful and gave me assistance with my purchase by taking it to my car for me; he did so without hesitation ( displayed good customer service).

This store tends to have no cashiers up front and force you to use self checkout. I have left my items up front and left the store to go somewhere else several times.

The store is clean and well stocked, BUT trying to find an employee is like hunting in the jungles of Borneo. If you do however find the "elusive" employee in orange... they will run from the isles as you give chase. Once captured however, the Home Depot employee will speak a different language of "i don't know" or "let me ask so-and-so" or even "that's not my department"
