This review is about the Broadview, IL Home Depot. I’ve written detailed reviews in the past. I’ll keep it brief this time. BEST HOME DEPOT I’ve ever been to! NEVER disappoints. Really great employees and that’s what makes your Home Depot stand out!

EVERYONE is so helpful! I mean everyone. From Yvonne in the appliance department who sold us 2 new appliances to Ms.Yvonne in customer service who gladly and cheerfully went above and beyond for us!! OUTSTANDING!!

Everyone is always so helpful and happy to be at work.

I went to this store because it was the only store in the area with the items I needed. According to their online stock availability, everything I needed was in stock. Upon arrival, I went to the location of one of the items. The shelf was empty. I then spent five minutes looking for someone. The employee I was able to locate was in a forklift. I asked him about the item and told me i would have to wait a few minutes before he could help me. I decided to go get the other two items. I was able to find one, but the other was not available. That took me around fifteen minutes. I went back to the same employee as before. Now there was a second employee working with him. He approached me when I signaled. I asked him about the item and was helpful on letting me know that they did have that one in stock, but needed the forklift to bring it down from above. That took around ten minutes. The last item was supposedly available with 500+ pieces. Upon checking, the location for that item, it was empty.

It’s sad to see the people that put this store together unhappy, I’m a regular contractor that requires a lot of plumbing supplies and from time to time help or advice, the star of this store or pluming department was Jeff! He would always work mornings and get busy helping me and other contractors, it’s a shame that this management, treated him so badly he quit! I really hope district leaders step up.

Athina is the absolute best sales associate in the store. She was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. She made my shopping experience a breeze.

my review for Broadview is excellent the first and only Home Depot that i experienced excellent service , friendly and courteous people jaden in paint was super 2 associates in kitchen counters and 2 associates in electric were extremely helpful! Broadview store is the best Home Depot !!! A manger greeted me in the aisle Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable and professional

Only issue I have with any Home Depot store because that’s usually impossible to find an employee to help you, At the very least the majority of the time that I shop here otherwise I love Home Depot

My experience here was great they had everything I needed and everyone that I asked for help from did their job well

I have seen so many improvements in the store. It is my favorite go to place to shop. I wish you carried shoes lol everyone is so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I thought Ace was the only place that had employees buzzing around helping customers, but I see the huge change in the store and the employees are always looking to help everyone they see Love it love it love it

Home Depot Store #1901 – Broadview, IL ⭐ 1/5 I am extremely disappointed with the customer service at this location. The majority of the staff, including the cashiers and customer service department, are lazy and unhelpful. When trying to return an item, the employees stand around talking to each other while customers wait in line. Their lack of professionalism and urgency is unacceptable. Throughout the store, it is nearly impossible to find someone willing to assist. Most employees seem disinterested in helping customers. The only exception is a tall, white gentleman in the plumbing department, who is always helpful and attentive. He consistently goes above and beyond, providing excellent service, which is a stark contrast to the rest of the staff. It is a shame that one employee stands out for doing their job properly while the rest fail to meet even basic customer service standards. Home Depot needs to address this widespread lack of care and ensure that all employees are trained to provide efficient and respectful service. I would not recommend visiting this location unless you specifically need assistance from the plumbing department.

I happened to find the assistant manager of the store, who was very helpful in finding all the items I needed for my plumbing repair.

We always shop at the Broadview Home Depot. They always have what we’re looking for and the customer service is exceptional. We've been to other locations and they either don’t have the products or customer service is poor.

I have ordered several items on line and have to return them to the store and they always seem to have something in the store that satisfys my need. i will make more trips into the store to save on time and waiting on my item to be shipped and returning it.

Purchased this fan on February 1, 2025. The supervisor (Lauren ) and sales associate ( Yvonne) were very helpful during my visit and purchase. I've been shopping there for over 25 years an they always are polite and helpful.

I'm very pleased with my purchase and my salesperson plus the delivery guy. This was a win-win for me.

I been going to this home depot for about. 2 years But. Last couple months. Service is been getting. Poor I ask for help. Waited for 20 minites no one show up. And this is after the cashier page. A 400 dollars. Just left the door empty

DO NOT GET COUNTERTOPS FROM HOME DEPOT! The company they contract out gave us the wrong edges on the countertops along with incorrect hole locations for the sink. The Home Depot did absolutely nothing to correct the issues. The Countertop Factory's solutions were give me a credit of $100 to keep the wrong countertops or buy a new countertop again.. The Home Depot should be ashamed of this hacky countertop company that they contract and ashamed of themselves for their horrible customer service. Stay away!!

Pablo was the pro associate that assisted us. He was GREAT!! He was very helpful and knowledgeable. I wish more Home Depot associates were like Pablo.

I am working on an extensive remodel - 4 bathrooms and kitchen. Love working with Christina Mason. She is very knowledgeable and takes the time to work through all of the details for well-designed look, quality and affordability. She can work within your budget and give you options for the look you are going for. We are also including handicapped accessible features. The selection at Home Depot is excellent and can fit any style and budget. Best decision I ever made!

Over the years I have made thousands of dollars in purchases maybe $15,000 or so some of the service was slow and helping me in the store finding someone to help it takes too long for me I'm a senior and standing around waiting for someone it's not a good idea

There is no compassion from any of these new employees they could care less about trying to help you and if they do, they try to run away and they’re on their phone constantly looking down or laughing with other employees and not doing anything to help the flow of customers Every aisle should not be closed off in order for you to get some product. It seems that I have to wait every single time they’re stocking an aisle or they just decide to close an aisle for no particular reason it’s very unfortunate and that whole store needs a revamp.

Depot has a decent mix of stuff and normally has what I need or something I can make work if not exact. My only issue is there is NEVER anyone EVER asking me if I need help finding something or if I just have a question - which I do 95% of the time, then I spend 20 minutes trying to find someone; and if I do find someone they say they do not work in that department and they will call someone over for me. Depot should be cross-training EVERY employee and ANY employee can help me. That is what I get at ACE and that is why I go there first. I spend 5-10 minutes at ACE going in knowing what I want and at least 30 minutes at Depot knowing what I need.

I met some great employees at Home Depot, Broadview location! John at the "Pro" exit helped me understand the delivery process, Joey in plumbing is a career-expert in the subject and helped with decisions, and a lovely lady at checkout answered all questions with great patience. Well done, Broadview crew!

Both times I've had online orders shipped to store or for curbside pickup, they screwed them up and in one case couldn't find the item for about 20 minutes, and in another, they never pulled the order and I had to cancel it and get it myself. Finally got the product in both cases but it wasn't easy.

Help me out with getting me what I was looking for.

OMG - please stop restacking warped lumber. I spent 1 hour sorting through 2x4x10's to get 20 pieces that were ok - not great, just ok.
