I have had bad experiences at other Home Depots, but the East Elmhurst staff was friendly and helpful. I am renovating my kitchen, so I went there for the kitchen design services. Designer "Charlie" had been recommended to me by neighbors. He was knowledgeable, easy to work with, and did a wonderful job maximizing storage in my awkward, small kitchen. The cabinets and counters offered seem to be of high quality and I am looking forward to having them installed.

If you 100% needed an item, I would go to the Flushing store. The East Elmhurst store does not always have every item I sometimes need, because its smaller. It does have mostly what I do need.

Cashier Kelsie (# KXS5534) was anything but a number: She directly helped me complete my purchase after directing me to the staff who could help me pick out what I needed. In and out in five minutes. And cheerful on a sunny Saturday early afternoon! Hey, who likes working on a Saturday, right? Kelsie and the other associates were on the ball at that branch!

Always find what i need or looking for. And all of the associates are kind & helpful.

while visiting this particular home depot i seen at least three employees in every isle mostly standing around pointing at the empty space on the shelves where items should be restocked. with a pallet of poweraide next to every fridge there was not one not one cold one to be found at all in all the store on a very hot day that should be one of the prioritys to the customer. If that many employees are working where they can just stand around three to an isle and two to each register then I see no reason why there were that many restock issues and bare shelves through the store over all cleanliness its a home depot.

The web site indicated a GE air conditioner was available at the Bulova/Queens store location. After I purchased the item on line and travelled to the store I was advised they were calling me as I walked into the store to advise they did not have the item. The store representative was very helpful in assisting me. The web site indicated there were 2 items available at the Valley Stream store location. We called the Valley Stream location and were advised the item was available since it was reflected on line. We requested a visual confirmation in order to avoid having me travel to Valley Stream for no reason. After the visual check, we were advised the store also did not have the item available. The website should be able to provide more accurate real time information to both the customers and its own employees. The only model available of similar capacity was an LG. To the associate's credit, she matched the price of the LG model with the GE model.

Mr. Charlie in the kitchen dept is very knowledgable and very helpful

Our associate's name is Akeem APF9HE he was a pure delight. Akeem made himself available to my husband and I and gave us his professional opinion. He was helpful with every question that we had and he handled himself very well. I have shopped in Home Depot many many times and never had such a wonderful experience, I have always dreaded going because help was never around. This store was wonderful.

The place was clean, nice assisting associates, I bought some stuff like tiles for my kichen, barbecue grill, and paper towels, but these papper towels seems to be so expensive

This store is in a great location. Next to the Grand Central Expressway, Astoria Blvd. This store is never too busy which is great for finding what you need.

Leysa the cashier was friendly, professional and courteous

The store associate was a great help. We always prefer to talk to an actual person than using the computer/Kiosk.

The store is kept clean over all. I was impress by the maturity and kindness and hard work of Mr Vassilic last few time I was there. This man works beyond his call to satisfy customer. He can be an excellent manager of the store. Upgrade him for us.

The products were really easy to find. I just wish the store was a bit less dusty.

This is an amazing store with easy access from anywhere in Queens. So much potential! However, many of the workers are not invested in providing service to ensure purchases, help with the loading of heavy equipment and knowledge of the products! There are those who are and they are great, but too many are not and this must be addressed. With the right personnel and/or supervision, Home Depo could provide an amazing shopping exerience for all!!

I needed to find the proper hardware for a project and the info given on the bins was insufficient. An associate helped me by pulling up HD's app but the slightly more detailed info there was erroneous. Between the associate and I , we 'guessed' which part to buy and luckily, when I got home, it fit. But if it hadn't I would have wasted a trip and my money. HD, your employees are good, and they try their best, but you need to give them better product info to their jobs!

The store is very cleanly and organized. This store is veteran friendly. The store on Woodhaven Blvd. the store associate was veteran unfriendly and refused to give me the discount.

Excellent service and very organize and clean store

I needed to return an item that I had purchased on line in the complete packaging but did not have the receipt. The Associate was very quick and friendly and issued a credit to my credit card with no problem. I then went to look for a better item and that Associate helped me open the box to make sure that the item would fit with a piece of ceiling fan that I was holding. It was a very pleasant visit after all.

I had a terrific experience the other morning in the lawn and gardening department. There was a female associate who was so helpful! She had lots of suggestions and solutions. I only shop this Home Depot!

Store manager was very hepful and knew exactly what I wad looking for after I explained to him!!
