When you're beginning to make the leap into a major DIY project, you might not have every tool you need in the workshop or shed. That's when you should stop by The Home Depot Tool Rental Center in Centennial Parkway.
Tool Rental
Our tool rental choices expand your toolbox and toolbelt with the exact tools you need to complete the job. It's impractical to get a specialized tool when you're not using it often. When you're searching for a new tool, do a trial run before you select which one to buy. Whatever your situation, we have the tools you're looking for.
Rent Shop Vacs, Post Hole Diggers, and Floor Sanders
Tackle serious projects with serious power tool rentals. Take your scuffed hardwood floor to the next level with a floor sander rental and a wet/dry vacuum rental to get the floors smooth and ready for refinishing. Construct a new fence around your pool or property faster and more efficiently with a post hole digger rental, then utilize other concrete tools that suit your job.
Make Painting Easier with Ladder and Paint Sprayer Rentals
Take advantage of warmer weather to paint outdoors. Rent paint sprayers to get optimal coverage fast and renew surfaces. Ladder rentals help you reach elevated areas when painting fences, houses, and sheds. We carry step ladders and extension ladders for small to medium jobs, so you won't have to wait when inspiration strikes.
Truck Rental
To make it easier to transport large tool rentals, we keep cargo vans as well as box trucks ready to roll — with availability varying by store. You're sure to find the correct size truck rental for your project so you can keep your timeline running smoothly. As your source for storage, packing, and DIY projects, it's simple to make us your source for transport and moving as well.
To get transportation and tools for your DIY or home improvement project, check out The Home Depot Centennial Parkway Tool and Truck Rental Center. Having the right tools for the job is important, so let us help. We're here to help you get that project done.
How do I rent trucks and tools?
Stop by the Rental Center at your nearest Home Depot to see which tools or trucks you can rent. If you'd like confirmation before you drive there, call first to inquire about a tool or truck. You may also read our truck rental or tool and equipment rental pages to see if what you need is in stock at your store. For more on renting tools, read our Tool Rental FAQs, which includes equipment terms and conditions.
Can I rent a tool by the hour?
Tool rentals start at four hour time slots. It depends on how long you'd like to rent them. Small DIY projects may only require a short rental period, and long-term jobs aren't a problem either. You've got options to rent tools by the day, week, or month, too. If you need it longer than what you signed up for, call your Rental Center for an extension and avoid late fees.
When do I return the tools?
It's fine to return the tools early if you finish your project faster than planned, but on-time works, too. As long as you return it by the deadline you were given when you rented it, you'll be good to go. Please clean off dust, mud, and grime from the tool as well. If you need them longer, call your rental center to see if you can extend your rental period.
Can I rent a truck for a week?
Rent a box truck, cargo van, or flatbed truck for as long as you need it. For short trips, 75 minutes could be enough time. Otherwise, consider renting it by the week or the day, depending on how long your project is. Don't forget to factor in the drive to and from the store, as you must bring it back to the same store you rented it from. Penske moving truck rentals allow one-way rentals as well as round-trip options, and they have different terms. Make sure to read the contract and terms and conditions before selecting a vehicle.
Do I need to refuel the rental truck when I'm done?
Yes, please fill up the truck before you return it. Make a note of the fuel level when you receive the truck, and be sure to fill it with enough gas to match that same level. When you don't refill the vehicle, you'll have to pay a penalty known as the fuel replacement charge.
Do I just need a driver's license to rent a truck?
No, you must hold a valid driver's license and be over the age of 21. Depending on your state, you might require car insurance, as well as a deposit or credit card hold, too. Please bring your credit card for Home Depot truck rentals, as we don't accept cash. Penske moving truck rentals have different requirements, so read those if you plan to rent a Penske truck.
