Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting rechargeable batteries, plastic plant pots, CFLs, and lead acid batteries for recycling.
This store recycles all shrink wrap, contributing to the 780 million pounds that The Home Depot has sold to Trex in the past. This is used to manufacture composite decking, bringing us one step closer to a circular economy.
Since 2010, we have decreased electricity consumption by over 52% in our U.S. stores.
The Home Depot's core values are based on doing the right thing for our associates and customers. This commitment extends beyond our stores to the environment, as well as our local communities. We are your partners in environmental sustainability. Learn more about our eco actions.

Do you have large moving boxes?
Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make storage or moving easier. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.
Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?
We've got the variety you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When searching generators for sale, remember that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.
Should I make siding repairs now?
Ready your home for spring temperatures swings and storms by replacing or repairing broken parts of your home and hardscaping. If water freezes in the crevices, you could be in for major repairs down the line. On the outside of your home, examine roofing shingles or metal roof panels for damage or rust that could let water in. Clean gutters to prevent ice dams if you're prone to frozen precip as the seasons change. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks. Indoors, ensure ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. Lastly, change out chimney caps and vinyl siding if they're damaged.
Do you have doorbell cameras?
Enjoy safety, privacy, and peace of mind with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window or peephole when you can watch visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, which is useful for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed and worry less with more control.
