Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting rechargeable batteries, plastic plant pots, CFLs, and lead acid batteries for recycling.
This store recycles all shrink wrap, contributing to the 780 million pounds that The Home Depot has sold to Trex in the past. This is used for composite decking materials, bringing us one step closer to a circular economy.
Since 2010, we have decreased electricity consumption by over 52% in our U.S. stores.
The Home Depot's core values are based on doing the right thing for our customers and associates, and this commitment extends beyond our stores to our communities, as well as the environment. We are your partners in environmental sustainability. Learn more about our commitment to economic responsibility.

What sizes of moving boxes do you carry?

Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.
Is it good to have a generator at home?
Having a generator means you're prepared for any circumstances life throws at you. Whether you're dealing with tornados, hurricanes, snowstorms, severe thunderstorms, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity when the elements knock it out. When considering different generators for sale, remember that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows.
How can I prepare my home for spring temperature changes?
Ready your home for spring temperatures swings and storms by replacing any faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. If water freezes in any crevices, you could be in for major repairs down the line. On the outside of your home, examine roof shingles or metal roofing panels for damage or rust that could let water leak into your home. Gutters should be clear and functional to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to ice storms and snow. Check cinder blocks and brickwork for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. Lastly, change vinyl siding and chimney caps if damaged.
Do you have doorbell cameras?
Enjoy safety, privacy, and peace of mind with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through an adjacent window or peephole when you can see visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, which is useful for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
