I came to Dahlonega HD from Dawsonville, and I’m glad I did! The process was amazing and professional while receiving my order. The pro desk met my concerns while loading too! They know how to treat a customer right! It was worth going the extra mile to this Home Depot for sure!

Several times recently items have been marked with a sale price. When we inquired to purchase them we were told they didn’t know why they were marked that price. But it wasn’t correct. The last time we called corporate to complain. We were hung up on initially. The second call the gentleman said he was going to mark our complaint urgent and someone would call us within 34-48 hours. No surprise-no phone call at all. Training should start with the corporate office and continue to the store. In years past anyone going into our local store knew the store manager. We are in there weekly and still don’t know who it is. Fred Brown was the best manager this store ever had! At this time Warren and Mike are the only ones we can count on.

I bought more Lifeproof flooring, which has proven to be an excellent addition to my RV. It is not only beautiful, but durable and an easy installation. Garrett, my HD Flooring Associate was so helpful and knowledgeable. I’m super happy with the final results!! Thank you Garrett! You are awesome.

We purchased 25 bags of Quikrete concrete mix. Once mixed and poured into forms it was apparent that this lot of concrete was defective; too much rock and not enough “Portland” to hold rocks together. I called the Dahlonega store at 4pm. My husband bet me that there would not be a manager available. Wrong! The phone was answered on the second ring by MIKE who is the Operations Manager. He offered me a full refund for 25 bags of concrete and 3 bottles of cement color that was used but purchased in Dawsonville Home Depot. GREAT GUY AND WONDERFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Purchased 35 bags of RED Vigro mulch on this trip (35 on previous trip.) Only one check out open in the garden center so check out took forever BUT there was numerous young employees outside that were assigned to load product. They were quick, efficient, courteous and just overall a delight. This was the best organized HD garden center I have been to. The product however was very poor quality. Half of the mulch was red, part was brown, part had sat in water so long it was rotten. I feel the the negative comments should be directed to home office or VIGRO not this individual store. Poor product. Can't put it back in the bag and take it back. Would I recommend store -YES absolutely!!! Would I recommend product -NO!!!

Had everything I needed on the visit

I understand that Al has retired now but him, Emily, and Tim at the Pro desk have been the most helpful with all of my job needs.

You really have to watch pricing especially in lawn and garden. You’ll see signage but 1-2 items directly behind the sign are that price. The other 60 items in close proximity that appear similar are not that price.

I was in store a week ago looking and took a picture of what I wanted

I bought refrigerator 10 months ago and washer, dryer and drawer 1 month ago. I paid the last 2 months on refrigerator, paid cash for drawer and asked if I could combine washer and dryer payments. Your employee said yes and I see one month debited from my checking account but I am getting bill saying I owe over $1,000 and have not paid so getting interest!! I don’t think that is very good business. The five stars is for the quality of purchases but not your billing department!!

Couldn't find coroplast, couldn't find an employee to help. Called main number and they had no idea what I was talking about.

I shop a lot at Home Depot it's the closes place for my needs over all they do a good job save a few minor things. That being said. The last time I went in I found out I am not getting my Military vet discount anymore due to spending to much at Home Depot. This was told to me PER the girl at the check out when I asked about why I wasn't getting my discount after registering and putting in my phone number even though it had worked before. She told me I had exceeded the amount allowed to spend at the Home Depot and that due to this I would not get a military discount anymore until it reset though I wasn't told when that would be. So, this tells me that Home Depot doesn't like vets enough to give me a discount all the time every time and doesn't really want my money. It would be nice if someone could contact me and explain this policy.

We purchased carpet and lpv flooring. Kyle was great. Very helpful and thorough. Waiting on install now but so far has been a great experience

I usually go to this HD because of its location and it usually has what I need.

This store always has what I'm looking for.

Had trouble with an order delivery. I had to reject the delivery because of damage. A major item very large in size. An 8 by 12 Storage building that requires assembly. A young lady at the store named Ela , She is a customer service rep I believe, Made the experience a major league Joy. She did everything possible to make the problem a non problem. If she could have had the item re-delivered that very day I'm sure she would have. Another of her associates she referred to as her mother helped also. Two very dedicated individuals to customer service. In this day and age where customer service is a hard thing to find , These two shine like stars in the retail world. Thank you Ela, and thank you Mother for a wonderful experience and for reassuring me that customer service still exists.

Favorite local box store. Best selection. Helpful staff. Great location. Two thumbs up. Five stars. It’s obvious they care. Keep up the good work Home Depot Dahlonega!

Very clean and organized! Looks like a brand new store, but its fairly old…

Having spent close to 30 years in the real estate and construction industry working out of Atlanta and only recently in the past couple years during a business out of Dahlonega, I can only say that this location is a drastic radical improvement over anything I’ve seen inside of the perimeter. The culture out here takes pride and its work, and I wish the city had a similar perspective, but it’s a pitiful contrast.

From the time I entered the store until I left, the staff made me feel appreciated. Everyone was so nice and helpful. but especially Kyra, my cashier. She took everything out of my buggy (as I am partially disabled and was having difficulty). After ring the items up she put them back into the buggy for me and offered assistance to get them in my car. She had a nice smile and showed genuine compassion. This kind of customer service is getting too rare these days, so I try to recognize it when I see it and thank them for their kindness. Hopefully that will make their day a little better too. I'm sure they deal with many grumpy customers with negative comments, so to still be able to smile for the next customer and be nice is a great thing. I appreciate her kindness.

I shop at this Home Depot because they are always in stock and have a variety of plants that I cannot get anywhere else.

Usually the store has all my my needs. And when they are out it doesn’t take them long to resupply

The gentlemen who delivered our washer today were friendly efficient and respectful. They akso offered helpful advice.

Great support with help finding replacement parts.
