Very Friendly and Very Helpful!

I'VE BEEN TO MANY STORES IN THE HOME DEPOT CHAIN, AND STORES WITH OTHER OWNERS. THIS ONE IS THE BEST. GREAT LOCATION, GREAT EMPLOYEES. CONVENIENT PARKING. FIRST CLASS OPERATION.

This store is very popular in our community. Very well stocked with all items, and has very knowledgeable employees at this location. I do lots of shopping here annually for all seasons, and for all projects I have around my home.

Exceptionally helpful and pleasant personnel, eager to please. Well stocked with useful items for my home and summer cottage. I have been especially pleased with the paint department, the garden area, the plumbing equipment area (where I purchased six new toilets which I installed at my home and summer cottage), the hot water heater area (where I recently purchased a very satisfactory new hot water heater), and the door hardware area (where I recently purchased 16 new door knobs to replace old ones and later purchased a variety of new door hinges). The only time I was disappointed in many years of visiting this store was when I purchased six 5-gallon containers of higher grade driveway sealer several years ago, only to find that each was totally unsatisfactory; I then purchased a very satisfactory replacement sealer at a competitor.

Amerika (with a “k”) was the first Home Depot employee I met during my first visit to the Deerfield store. She has always treated my wife & I like family, with a bright smile and team spirit – always promoting the other associates and quick to offer compliments. She is most definitely one of the many reasons we enjoy shopping at this store and have remained loyal ever since. You have the best team of people of any home improvement store from Hollywood to New Your City. Nice job, thanks!

This store is exceptionally consumer-friendly, and all associates I have encountered in my several visits this month have been very professional, friendly, courteous and anxious to please. The layout of the store is excellent, and it is easy to find most things I am looking for. The store management clearly is doing an outstanding job. Also, I occasionally take an elderly neighbor on a visit to the store. She has difficulty seeing because of macular degeneration. The store personnel consistently have been very helpful to her (and, while they probably would not suspect it, would be pleased to know that she is a substantial and enthusiastic Home Depot shareholder).

The associate Brian was very helpful and knowledgeable.

The associates are more knowledgeable and more willing to help than at the store closer to me. it is also better stocked.

The Deerfield Home Depot is my go to choice for my home remodeling needs. They did an excellent job helping me with style selection and product when I did my whole kitchen remodel. And, now I have returned to them for their expertise in having wood floors installed in my living room, dining room, den and hallway. The associates have been very helpful in explaining my product options and setting up measuring and installation. My product will be available for installation in one week and I will have new floors before the end of the month.

She is so helpful and has great ideas. I will be back to this specific location.

My experiences have almost always been very good at this store. I appreciate the addition of the automobile products section, the extended home care products section, the special sales and clearance items, and the extended garden products area, and the occasional help from some employees who are knowledgeable about the store layout and locations, and sometimes expertise on a given subject. (please train the cashiers to say, thank you)

This was a great store experience because Chris and Keith were so capable, nice and helpful. They were truly careful to make sure they gave me the correct materials I needed, the correct way. They were friendly, nice and so capable.

Everyone in the store know their stuff. They are very knowledgeable.

Veneisha at the service desk went above what was expected. I had an online order that was previously order wrong by a supervisor at the home depot in Deerfield. A manager was suppose to call me back regarding my order, no one ever call me back. I was beyond upset. I came in and went to the service desk and veneisha was apologetic, cancel the incorrect order and re order the correct item. This store would run better if they had more of this type of young lady working there. I only shop at this home depot and she is the only person I will deal with.

When I walk in the store, I usually as the greeter where to find what i am looking for because I want to be expedient. I go to the specific area and find the supplies i need. If i cannot see what I need or cannot find the specific type, there is usually someone around the aisle who can point me to it. I also know several key people who are very good at explaining products and their differences to me. Thanks

This is one of the worst home depots in terms of service. There either are no employees to be found, or employees all over who are unwilling or unable to help. I try to avoid this store at all costs but unfortunately it is very close by and convenient to me so I find myself here time after time getting frustrated trying to buy construction products.

The employee that helped me took the time to ensure I would receive a product that had all the features I wanted and needed and explained all the options and pros/cons of the various products and options. She was friendly and very knowledgeable of the products available. I highly recommend this particulare store.

Great experience at a store that can be very overwhelming!

I was at the store ordering lumber for a project on May 21. After I placed the order and paid for it; I sat in my car and started looking at the statement, I realized the order was entered wrong, when I went back to correct it, I was charged twice for delivery. I paid extra for good duality lumber, when the lumber arrived, there was many pcs. that were split and twisted that I could not use. I can't get the items back to the store, will need a truck. do I pay for another delivery?

Mike was great really describes customer service. Bought a grill ,cover, exchange tank and lawn care products in under 20 minutes

Store was very organized. Isle's labeled well to find what your looking for. Employee's very helpful answer all your questions. Quick checkout too!

Store was clean. Parking lot was a little confusing and disorganized. The service was hard to find when needed.

Got helped right away in the light bulb dept and was given understandable directions to find the other item I needed. Fast, easy, was helped in both depts without waiting. I didn't look for someone to help, but staff offered help right away. Fast, had what I was looking and had quick checkout at the self-service checkout. Really excellent experience at Home Depot in Deerfield, IL.

I had such a wonderful, thorough, shopping experience with Sherwin. Even though I asked him a question about lighting, which wasn't his section, he spend so much time with me. He taught me all about can lights, and the best way to improve the lighting in my house. He stayed with me, walking me through different parts of the store, looking on high shelves, and low shelves too, to try to find exactly everything I needed. It was the best experience I ever had at a Home Depot!

Looking for work gloves...didn't know where they were in store Very nice young woman associate came to help even though I had not asked for assistance Located exactly what I needed in very short time...she asked if I needed anything else We parted ways with a smile and a wave...very pleasant all around!
