When you're starting to dive into a major DIY job, you might not have all the tools you need in the garage. Don't let that stop you when you can stop by The Home Depot Tool Rental Center in Denver Sw.
Tool Rental
Our tool rental options expand your toolbox and toolbelt with the exact tools you need to complete a DIY job. It's not practical to buy a specialty tool when you're only using it once in a while. When you're in the market for a new tool, give it a spin first before you choose which to purchase. Whatever your situation, we have the power tools you're looking for.
Make Painting Easier with Paint Sprayer and Ladder Rentals
Take advantage of long summer mornings and paint outdoors. Rent paint sprayers to get optimal coverage and work much faster than you would with a brush or roller and a paint tray. Scaffolding rentals help you reach high areas when painting houses, sheds, and fences. We carry step ladders and extension ladders for medium or smaller jobs, so you won't have to wait when inspiration strikes.
Concrete Mixers
Stabilize your outdoor jobs with a concrete mixer rental. Larger projects need bigger concrete mixers. We offer towable concrete mixers as well, so bring a truck or rent one of ours for easy transport. We also offer concrete saw rentals and grinders in several sizes.
Truck Rental
For large equipment rentals, we keep flatbed trucks as well as Penske moving trucks ready to roll. Choose the correct size truck rental for your project so you can keep your timeline running smoothly. As your source for DIY and storage projects, it's easy to make us your source for moving and transport as well.
Whether you're searching for everyday tools or industry-specific equipment, we've got you covered. We'll even rent you the vehicle to get it to your home or project site. Let us help you complete your next home improvement project with the right tools and transport for the project.
How do I rent tools or trucks?
Stop by the Rental Center at your nearest Home Depot to see what tools or trucks you can rent. If you'd like to be sure of what's in stock, call first to inquire about a tool or truck. You may also read our tool rental or truck rental pages to see if what you need is in stock at your local store. For more on renting tools, read these Tool Rental FAQs, including terms and conditions for the equipment.
Can I rent a tool for an hour?
You can rent a tool for four hours or more. It depends on how long you'd like to rent them. Small home improvement jobs may only require a short rental period, and we can accommodate large projects as well. You've got options to rent tools by the month, day, or week, too. If you need it longer than what you signed up for, call your Rental Center to arrange an extension and avoid late fees.
When do I return the tools?
It's fine to return the tools early if you finish your project faster than planned, but on-time works, too. Just make sure to bring them back by the deadline listed on your rental paperwork. Please clean off any grime and dust from the tool as well. If you need it longer, give the rental center a call to see if you can extend your rental period.
Can I rent a truck for a week?
Rent a moving van or truck for as long as you need it. For short trips, 75 minutes may be plenty. Otherwise, consider renting it by the day or the week, depending on the length of your project. Be sure to factor in the drive between the job site and the store, as you must return it to the same store you rented it from. Penske moving truck rentals allow one-way rentals as well as round-trip options, and they have different terms. Be sure to read the contract before choosing your vehicle.
Do I need to refuel the rental truck when I'm done?
Yes, please fill up the truck before you return it. Match the level of gas that was in the tank when you got the rental. When you don't refill the truck, you'll have to pay a penalty known as the fuel replacement charge.
Do I just need a driver's license to rent a truck?
No, you also need to be 21 or older, in addition to holding a valid driver's license. Depending on your state, you might require car insurance, as well as a deposit or credit card hold, too. We don't accept cash for Home Depot truck rentals, so please bring your credit card. Penske moving truck rentals have different requirements.
