I was Lowes the night before looking for an angle bracket to provide sturdy resistance to keep the dishwasher from leaning forward every time I load or unload the dishwasher. The brackets that came with the dishwasher were designed to fail, they are weak, and therefore buckle under the weight of a family's daily need to wash the dishes. The had brackets alright, just like Home Depot does. Only, they were of contractor grade when used to build a house for resistance to wind, seismic quakes etc. They were way too big, and I did research online for the exact product I was in the market for, and could not find it, even with associate help. So, i decided to wait and check out Home Depot and see what I can find here. I found something like what I was looking for, but not exactly what it was I was looking for. I determined that the brackets I purchased would be sufficient for the job needed to be done. I found it amongst the same stuff Lowes had, and more. Got what I needed and paid for it in the self check out line. Since I can hold the two brackets in my fist, I determined there was no need to seek help out the door and load it in my vehicle.

I knew this would be a good trip when it was easy to find a parking spot! I was on the search for a simple hand saw to complete an easy job that didn't require a circular saw. I easily located the "Tools" section and made a few laps before asking an associate to point me toward the saws. He quickly showed me to the section and I was able to look at each saw. I was slightly disappointed how expensive they were, but I made my selection and was able to check out at the self-scan immediately! A very quick and easy trip.

Doug and Kathy are the reasons to go to this store for hardware, power tools, and checkout.

John F. And Joan were about the two most helpful people I've ever had the pleasure to deal with at Home Depot. They were on the spot and we had no wait time. As soon as we figured out what we wanted it was on it's way to us. I can only hope we have their help the next time we are in the store!

we were ignored and dismissed by "customer service" as soon as we arrived. went to the appliance department to purchase a new washer and dryer set, only to be met with the most unhelpful, unprofessional, and downright rude "salesperson" you could ever imagine.

I am not a big shopper, but I always enjoy my visits to the SE Washington Home Depot Store. I love walking through the kitchen and bathroom displays and all the supplies for landscaping. It's the place where I dream of future plans!

My in-store experience was over the phone from Boston, but I can tell you this experience was so professional and well conducted by your store manager, it was almost hard to believe, and he made it all so simple. He was able to order and arrange for set-up and delivery of a gas grill to my friends in Portland. Everyone else wanted to just deliver to the door not assembled. Of course I go to my Home Depot in Danvers MA but your Home Depot in Portland OR is AWESOME!!!.

On the positive side, we found more items to purchase than we came for, and we got some great advice from a woman who helped us pick flooring for our basement. The only negative issue was the store's inside temp. It was too warm, and consequently we didn't stay as long as we would have liked to. It led to fatigue, and we just lost interest in looking at anything else.

There were plenty of associates standing around but would not make eye contact with customers. When they did see that you needed help, they either passed you by or they said they were helping someone already. (obviously a ghost customer) I love the HD store near the Portland Airport. Very professional and courteous staff. And always there to help you. E Portland/SE Washington location should take some lessons from them.

Items were all in stock. I have also taken my dog there often and it is appreciated that the staff works so well with you. I like shopping at the Home Depot store. It is first choice on my list

Most employees at my local store are very knowledgeable about the products, how to use them, and where they are in the store. As a general rule, I find it difficult to find what I'm looking for in the store, and it can be difficult to corner an employee to help you when you need help finding something, though. That's why I love the online ordering with the ability to pick up your order in the store. You get to find out whether or not it's in stock first, and if it's not, it's easy to have the item shipped from the same order. Shopping online is better because I can easily get more information about the item, I don't forget anything on my list, and I don't give up looking because I get frustrated by not being able to find it. My local store is close to me and I visit it fairly often, so it's great to be able to get my shopping done in no time at all by having it picked for me before I get there.

Took 2 trips as I forgot something (my fault) so I was a bit crabby. Associates on both trips got me in and out with minimal pain. And the cashier had a brilliant smile and a great attitude. Overall a pleasant experience indeed

I'am Highly satisfied with both my visits to home depot prior to purchasing my $600 "Husky 52 in. 18-Drawer Tool Chest and Rolling Tool Cabinet". I went in on Wednesday and ran into "Employee #1" roaming around the front of the tool section. He was very curtious to answer all my questions. I wanted to know price, box sizes, etc. He helped me take measurements of how big the boxes for the car would be, and checked inventory of the store. Not only was he very informative but was very nice and didnt talk to me like I should just know everything. When I picked up my Husky toolbox on Thursday I ran into "Employee #2, not only have I dealt with him in the past (Plumbing, Electrical, Etc) and have been very pleased but I also was very pleased again. I told Employee #2 what we needed, he double checked inventory and found what we needed. He graciously made us feel welcome while he picked up our toolbox from the back inventory. This by far is one of the best visits! Both Employee #1 & Employee #2 were "Very, Very" helpful.
