We have had many trips there in the past few months while working on getting my house ready to sell. On Thursday, May 3, 2018 we had an exceptional person helping us as much as she possible could but in the end we had to come back anyway. Gwynn went above and beyond trying to get our order placed but apparently having a temporary charge authorization does not allow you to place a large order on line. She called someone who after about 20 minutes told her to purchase a gift card and then use the gift card to purchase everything however that did not work either. She then spoke with someone who after 30 minutes and talking to us twice on the phone told us that we are not allowed to use the temporary charge to place our order online. Gwynn hung in there and tried everything possible to get this order placed but Home Depot just would not allow that. She was awesome and very kind and polite and I was so happy that when we went back she was there. Once again we had a problem with the order and Home Depot would not allow one of the vanities to be delivered so not we have to pay someone to come pick it up after spending $ 2,500.00 that day we were upset at this. Home Depot used to be my favorite store but after this experience no longer is. If is wasn't for Gwynn and her patience and kindness we would not have purchased anything.

Your people are helpful One of your loading people refused a tip this summer when I offer him one for helping me. Nice kid going to college in fall.

The Ellicott City, Maryland store on Route 40, is always a clean store overall and the employees are kind and helpful. When I can't find a particular product, I always find a store employee willing to help me locate the product or a similar product if it is not available. I have always found the store associate to be friendly and helpful.

love the pro desk, in genereal people are very helpful. Stay away from customer service desk especially if TYE is working there, unless you are white. she will not serve you. waited in line while she took other shoppers, then she proceeded to wait on the customer behind me in line. and kept talking over me while i complained that i was there first. complained to management and got nothing but sorry you had a bad experience. used to do all my shoping at depot and this location. again, love the pro desk and the staff there but this bad incident has turned me away from depot and this location. i used to make all my contractors buy from this location but no need any more. I can shop other home depots & i have accts at TW perry, HD supply, lowes, roofing center, etc. horrible experience with TYE at customer service

The store was superb in its general appearance. It was very clean and looked very grand. The employees were friendly and smiling. The professional approach of each of them made me very happy. I wish to go to Ellicott city store often.

I had never visited this location before as I usually visit the Columbia location. The people here were extremely friendly, the store was very clean, and the shelves were well stocked. I was able to quickly find what I was looking for, which they were out of at the Columbia location. I would definitely shop at this location again.

These employees at Home Depot... where do they get them... they need to do everything to keep them! Keep up the good customer Service... it's not outstanding.... it's exceptional! Zuoké

Many times, I've received exceptional service, but tonight, Brittney was the icing on the cake. Her personality was exceptional and her willingness to help really stood out. I was really satisfied by the service I received.

I have been in every Home Depot store in Howard County and everyone in the surrounding counties as well. I have always received the best service and product availability in the Ellicott City store; it's definitely my go-to store; friendly, knowledgeable service, and well-stocked.

The store was well maintained, clean, and organized. The selection of products varied but were easy to find. The associates were friendly and offered assistance right away. Their suggestions for the products were helpful. They also displayed knowledge of the purposes and functions of particular products. I found my visit to this store quite pleasant.

The PRO staff at this particular location is Friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. I needed to get a garage door opener and schedule an install. The pro staff was very helpful. Hopefully I will have a new garage door opener installed by this Saturday!

Look for Ryan when you are in need of help in the garden center. He has the best manners, is very helpful and makes customer service his priority. I have been getting gravel and mulch at this Home Depot for over 7 years, today I ran into Ryan, he loaded my heavy cart, brought the mulch and gravel to the register, retrieved paper to protect my SUV and loaded my vehicle. I've never had such incredible customer service. Ryan had excellent manners and he was very polite. I hope they treat him well so that he stays. This is an example of truly terrific customer service!

Marivel was extremely helpful putting together an order for us. Took the extra time to make sure we had what we needed.
