Staff always friendly and helpful

After 5 trips to the store, the first 3 nobody was in the appliance department. Probably walked around no less than 10 minutes one trip and no more than 30 minutes the next two times. The fourth time walked for about 45 minutes before an associate from kitchens said the guy there was on break but she can help. After about 25 minutes the employee showed up and the cabinet girl was close to finishing our selection. We probably were there a total just over an hour and a half, maybe 2 hrs. I was going to think about my selection over night and said I would be back within 24 hrs. The next day we were greeted within 10 minutes. The sales person was very salty towards us as if we were intruding. It didn't go well for the first 10 minutes or so, but thing s seem to calm down and we were done. The delivery was set for this Thursday the 20th. (We were there on Saturday, 5 days prior to delivery.) The morning delivery was a four hour window, 7 to 11am. We had 3 inches of fluffy snow over night. I was up at 5 am making sure the concrete was clear and dry- I used a propane torch for their safety to clear any ice and water. The delivery showed up around 10am. They indicated I was there first stop. They would not pull into or back into the drive because of some snow and didn't want to get stuck, and told me I needed to get a snow plow out here to plow my drive. I have a tractor and already did that two days ago. I had three trucks in the drive already....nobody was stuck or getting stuck. The crew sat in the cab for about 20 minutes or so than left. They should have called the drive to understand there was no issue. Home Depot rescheduled the delivery for March 13th. Three weeks away.......Why?!?!?!!? I called and bitched so they moved up the delivery for this Tuesday. What is wrong with your company. When ever I go there, your employees see me getting a lot of plywood an or need help they ignore me, not just this store but all stores. I'm a contractor and most of the time I'm alone buying for my job. When I see other customers at your stores looking confused or need help, I remind them that they are in a DIY store.

Brieanna helped us with our blind choices and cutting of not only 3 we purchased yesterday, but 3 new blinds that were cut for other windows that needed recut. she was very nice, and very knowledgeable. I enjoyed talking to her while she worked. All the blinds fit like a glove!! Thank you so much Brieanna!!

Had to remove an old washing machine so homedepot could deliver a new one . $20 rental for appliance dolly and it was done . Then Homedepot showed up with the new one on time. Love my Homedepot !

Valerie in the Bathroom and Kitchen department was fantastic in helping my husband and me select bathroom remodeling items. She was friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Thanks Valerie!!

We are retired older people and don't understand all the new internet technologies. The clerk who was checking us out help us to set up a veteran discount account. She was the 1st person to ever help us with this process. And with a smile 😃

H/D got delivery of stove to wrong city. That's right??? Was supposed to get delivery to Elyria, Oh, & they sent to Warrren, OHIO (where ever that is. ) Took numerous calls to get resolved..no one could contact the delivery service directly. Got e-mails telling me it was on the way, only to get a e-mail later that said delivery was MISSED? A real goat rodeo. Got woke up at 6:00AM with a phone call telling me deliver would be there at 7:00AM.that day. Well, now its scheduled for 5 days from now.

The Elyria, OH location has some extremely rude staff. I encountered 5 individuals on my visit and only one of them was nice.

I spent 1000.00 dollars in the store and on my way out found a Milwaukee saw for 99.00 but another tag said 159.00 so employee took off the 99.00 one and said a manager Steve would need to approve the 99.00 I waited 30 min and no Manager I guess he was in an interview and couldn't be bothered by me so I left.

Got 2 keys made, they didn't work. Went back got 2 more. Barely work. Trying to decide on a third set. Would not recommend for keys

Paint department excellent. Power tools department Excellent.

The staff was very knowledgeable, Mandi at the service desk explained the ins and outs of how portable air conditioners work as well as how to dismantle and repair it and was able to explain what every part of it inside and out does. She also was able to explain the process of pasturizing milk. Anita at the service desk was also able to explain the history and origin of various vegetables such as onions and potatoes as well as carrots. They were both very kind.

Always have the building materials and plants and top soil so Home Depot is my store for gardening and construction.

Plumbing stuff always a plus to see good people help you threw your work day

Colleen who works in the door department was absolutely amazing! I want to thank her for helping me shop and not getting annoyed with my questions! We need more people like her in retail!

Went to get garden plants and supplies. the plants where not in good condition they needed watering very badly. where was only a few bags of planting soil and there was not employee to ask for help any where around just the check person and she was not willing to call for any help and did not give me my Military Discount even after show Military ID. this was the worst time I have ever had at Home Depot. Makes me feel like never going back again.

I needed new carpet for our family room and the employees at our local Home Depot made it so easy! Looking forward to it being installed next week!

I will make this short guys. Tradesmen are under extreme pressure to finish jobs and projects, and the last thing we need is more stress piled on us as we enter a supply store. There are 3 stores in my area, and without doubt Home Depot wins by 24 Lengths like Secretariat did in 1974 and I will never forget the Belmont track announcer say, "He is running like a machine, and the other horses aren't even in sight." That record will never be beaten guys, and Home Depot is that far ahead of the other stores when it comes to all the facets in running a large operation, and makes it look easy, as Secretariat did when I got my honorable discharge after serving 4 years at the pinnacle of my youth.
