I recently used the Home Depot propane exchange offered by AmeriGas. The propane tank I received had a heavily corroded valve that leaked gas after calling the store. The online staff and store staff seemed indifferent to any concerns over safety. It is extremely evident that AmeriGas and Home Depot do not perform even the simplest of inspections for safety on these tanks. I returned the tank and received a partial refund. Now I am out the cost of the tank itself, but I’d rather go elsewhere than put my family and Home in jeopardy.

A new employee (Naytar) duplicated several keys for me. He was very pleasant and welcoming. I asked him how he liked working @ Home Depot. He said he did was treated well by the staff. I said that that seems to be the consensus.

We went to this Home Depot during a busy Saturday morning of Memorial Day weekend. We had to get a bunch of different things for our house projects. Every time we needed help locating something there was an employee available. Then when we were ready to checkout we were lucky to encounter Neloofar who helped us. She was patient as we had many gift cards to use and she reminded us about the guy one get a refill free promotion for the round up. We really appreciate her excellent customer service!

There’s nobody in the store to help you, you can wait for over 45 minutes to an hour before anybody comes and help you if they actually come and when they do, they’re rude they act like you’re bothering them.

About 3000 sqft installed. Correct product ordered and delivered. Install was well done by good team from ACS.

I ordered a range. Richard was very helpful, answered my gazillion questions, and made sure I had everything I would need for the installation and delivery. I knew which appliance I wanted, it wasn’t in stock, but Richard was on it! The store’s ordering process and setting up delivery and installation was quick snd easy.

Associate made loading, and cutting the board to size. My visit was made very easy!

I have been a customer of Home Depot since it first opened in Northern Virginia, as I was a customer of Hechinger’s. I have a Home Depot pro account and do residential remodeling and spend thousands of dollars every year with Home depot. I recently went to the store to return two plastic spray bottles $3.98 each. I originally paid cash for them and miss placed the receipt I went to the Fairfax store to return them presented my drivers license, and Rouze refused the ability to return the 2 faulty spray bottles. I did speak to the manager on duty that night who also refused to complete my return. I find this to be absolutely incredible, and the worst customer service ever.

I bought two trash cans and had one inside the other upon checking out. I scanned both items and was waiting for the receipt to print when an employee rushed up and ripped the receipt off the printer. She looked at the receipt and then said Oh did you know you could get one of these for free if you applied for a credit card.

I want to Thank the cashier for taking time with me. There was a confusion with my credit card. She worked diligently in getting it through! Awesome employee!!

As a vet I expected more. We asked for help finding a tree and they didn’t even attempt to look in systems until we kept pushing and pushing. Assistant manager was short and rude.

Every single associate that have help in this store are nice and aprochable.

I purchased Kraftmaid cabinets and while the purchasing experience went well, what followed has been less than ideal. Some of the problems have been taken care of, but not all. The contractor they sent out to measure my kitchen failed to measure where the pipes were under my sink. As a result, the kick drawer I purchased for under the cabinet doesn't fit. After several emails, I was promised a refund, but haven't received it yet. Then there's the problem with the utensil drawer. The incorrect drawer was ordered by the Home Depot employee despite me asking to have the order number checked multiple times. Home Depot has refused to send someone from Kraftmaid to fix it, however my contractor is unable to change the utensil tray without damaging the drawer. If you're going to spend thousands of dollars on cabinets, maybe don't do it here.

no associates to help you find anything, Home Depot has lost its way with customer service. No associates to help, and even if you find one most of the time they send you in the wrong directions. I remember the day when the heart associates would love you to the item you’re looking for. Now forget it. Good luck if you can find what you’re looking for.

Unlike many orange-aproned staffers at HD who run away down an aisle to avoid customer service and interactions, EBEN actually walked directly to us to see if we wanted any help or had any questions! AMAZING! He was patient answering our many kitchen countertop questions, showed us our many options, explained the pros and cons of different edges as they may fit with cabinets and sinks, and he truly cared about our grasp of the potential issues. He was experienced, knowledgeable, and professional in every way-- EBEN is a tremendous asset to the HD staff.

Hey - if you use a bank issued credit card at Home Depot, they use your email. Not a lot of security and privacy there.

I went to the Fairfax, VA Home Depot to buy a fluorescent bulb which I had verified on-line as being in stock and available for pick-up. After searching for several minutes, I did not find the bulb I needed so I flagged down an "orange vest" who was working in the same aisle. I gave him the SKU number and told him that the website indicated that there were 16 in stock. He input the number into his handheld. He revealed that the bulbs were in stock, but did not have an assigned bin indicating that they were likely on the overhead shelves. This associate was a senior citizen, but after spotting the carton on the high shelf, he secured a tall rolling ladder, climbed to the top, and retrieved the bulb I needed. In a world of self-service, this commitment to human contact is why Home Depot is my home improvement center of choice. I regret that I did not get the gentleman's name.

I had a good experience with Dean the manager and other workers in the store

I am very happy to buy tools, supplies and appliances for my house last Saturday I bought a water heater was difficult to put it in my car but one of the employee ofer me to help his name is Masood was very friendly and polite , thanks again.

The Fairfax stores lumber department is far cleaner than east Manassas which sometimes looks Like a third world country with trash and broken lumber .

I bought this digital tv antenna a couple of weeks ago. After speaking with Bob in the electrical department I felt god about my his recommendation and my choice. It works like a charm. I'm very happy with the product and the customer service. Will buy again when needed.

Visited this location for some LED lights on a overly crowded Sunday. The store was packed but the manager on duty Dean took his time to help us with what we needed. He was SUPER knowledgeable, skilled, professional, kind and pleasant to work with! Will definitely go back to this store many more times as we are in the process of home renovations! Ricardo in plumbing created a customized solution to my Humidifier water pipe problem. He put everything together for me so I would have an install ready product. It worked perfectly!! The associates in this store are very helpful and go out of their way to figure out a solution to the problem.
