The store is very clean, the associates are very helpful and generally I find what I'm looking for.

Great experience! The associates gave me excellent advice on my kitchen project that my wife and I decided to take their advice and change our plans! Everything is turning out great!

Fantastic experience with three dedicated employees of Home Depot! Shannon, Bret and Kyle went above and beyond their jobs today, and personally took the time to help a worried mother in need in preparing for an upcoming storm. You will not be disappointed in this stores employees, and I consider myself very lucky to have met and worked with these people today! They made a special house call, setup an overhang for my generator and expected and asked nothing in return. True heroes! Thank you very much! One very satisfied customer! Kristen Carroll

I have noticed a marked improvement in the customer service processes in the Freehold and Howell Home Depot stores. The Associates are well informed and always available with assistance.

We purchased a special order Andersen window for our Kitchen. We dealt with two associates and they were both extremely helpful. Even helped us save a bit of money. Overall the experience was a good one.

My wife and I are remodeling our kitchen and we are now to the tile and flooring part. We are surprised and delighted to find a host of different options to tackle the flooring project.

I ordered and paid for product(s) on-line. I never got a ready e-mail. Went to store to pick up items, that were in stock, and was told someone forgot to fulfill the order. Had to go around store and find the items that I ordered. This defeated the entire on-line order process.

I needed help in the lumber dept. There was no associate in sight anywhere in the dept. I waited for 10 minutes to see if an associate would walk by. No one did. I finally went back to the front of the store and asked one of the cashiers to page a lumber associate. She said to go back to the lumber dept and wait. I waited for another 10 minutes and finally an associate came by who looked upset and helped me like he just woke up from a deep sleep and he was rude to boot. This store has the worst customer service I ever experienced and talking to a manager does not help at all.

Trying to find instock items and checking out are always a nightmare. If you attempt to redeem manufacturers coupons, no one seems to know how and their go to answer is we don't take them or we can only take one. The store is not as well stocked as other stores in the area and the associates knowledge is mediocre at best.

I was happy with the staff available to help. Looks like Home Depot corporate listened over the past decade and now almost all Home Depots I have visited lately have plenty of associates around to help. Freehold, NJ is no exception. I would say the help here was a little more relaxed (or maybe I was just in a good mood). I was surprised at the number and variety of things I needed that were IN STOCK, letting me happily go through and complete my shopping list. This location was a little more cluttered and disorganized than I would have expected but I didn't let it ruin my day.

A sales associate in paint asked if I needed help in selecting the right type of paint. I only needed a one-quart size and it appeared that there was none on the shelf. However, the associate checked unopened boxes on the upper shelves and found the paint I needed. i also needed painter's tape and was directed to where that was located. I was able to get both items I needed and complete the check out process in just a few minutes.

Employees were rude and have no respect for customer waiting when the self check out machine was malfunction

I was looking for guidance on lumber and the associate was knowledgeable and pointed me in the right direction for what I was looking for and made sure I selected the correct lumber for my project.

Every time I go to the Home Depot, everyone is beyond helpful. Especially Steve in hardware. I always feel as though I have a personal shopper. I have learned so much through out the years. I would rather shop at the Home Depot than buy jewelry...lol. It is almost like my home away from home. I have never had a problem with a purchase or a return. Everyone is always happy and helpful!!!!!

Went into store after working all night, so I was very tired but excited to order a new door. A salesman asked me if I needed help, sat right down with me at the computer and we ordered it within 5 minutes and I was on my way! While leaving the store several other salesman said "Have a good day and thank-you for shopping at Home Depot!" I almost forgot I was tired and wanted to stay in the store because I was so happy!!

I completely prefer this location. It is easy to get to and usually has everything I require to get the job done. All the associates are helpful and friendly. Definitely one of the best locations to shop at.
